Chapter 116: The Ancestral City

                                A chilling hum splinters off the boys. They have landed at the massive spiralling wooden gates of the Ruin Ancestral City. The Temple Master had directly teleported them via the Gemmed Tree to the recipe of the city. They are all in awe as the massive walls seem to go forever there is a natural quality about them. Tyr rushes forward his history sense tingling plus his memories have a few references to what he is seeing.

Tyr is a little shakey as he reaches out to touch the smaller gate on the wall. The gate looks like a creeping vine that has implanted itself on the wall.  SKY Ocean Hunter says, “What’s going on dude?” 

Styx says, “Yeah Hermano you’re more shocked than when Tatiana kissed you in front of Ninth Immortal.” He chuckles a little that Tyr is still paying for that Ninth Immortal is totally furious with him. 

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “That’s a good she has fire in her not as firey as my girl but definitely spicy enjoy.” Styx and SKY Ocean Hunter have been spectating the pair bundle up what is an auspicious match.

To the depths, if I know, Tyr do you have an idea.” SKY has these golden cracks on his scales which glow whenever he uses magic energy. His new triggered passive has really boosted his passive magic energy pool to more than double that of Tyr when activated. 

Tyr says, “I’m not sure but this place is really old probably older than the island.” Tyr pushes even more his magic energy spreading throughout the gate. The Vines that were dominant go activate moving layers of stone to create a pathway in the city. Tyr is barely able to stammer out, “Impossible.”

Styx says, “Carnal what is it?” Thinking that they may be under attack. 

Tyr says, “We need an emergency meeting right now.” He is only thinking about what is right in front of him. This is no ordinary city at all.   

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “I’m gathering everyone now but we will have to meet the girls in the real at the conference room.” SKY Ocean Hunter is glad that they are all living together it makes things a lot easier especially now that they have launched a class action land claim against Baron Inc.

After what feels like three hours to Tyr, Athena, Rowena, Asa. and Mei all settle down next to their partners which makes it weird since Asa and Mei each flank Sihle.  Athena and John are of course arm in arm as always. 

Mei says, “While this is fun and all I am very busy. Andromeda couldn’t even leave the class she is in at the moment.” Truly the expansion of the guild is currently under the stewardship of the woman of the guild. 

Sihle says, “I understand but this is more important. Is everyone here?” A voice from the centre of the stateroom table speaks most of the vice chapter masters of the guild are using a virtual system…”Good, let me say anything I am bout to relieve must be kept between us.” 

Asa mutes the virtual system and says, ” Are you sure I’m not accusing anyone but if it’s that important the fewer people who know the safer we will be.” Her question is actually aimed at John, not Sihle he is after all the leader. 

John Baptist says, “It should be okay I hope.” He has been looking for something explosive like this for a while the reason he called the meeting is that if they have any corporate spies, who are well trained and difficult to find out. He wants to make sure before going to the ocean they are tight and secure. 

Rowena says, “please get on with it then this is so exciting darlings, you’ll are always bringing me surprises like that the training method has really pushed the newcomers.” Rowena is reading over the fiances of the guild and the corporate.

Asa says, “Where did you find a copy of that book there should be none in low-level areas.” The book in question is the writing of Blood Lord Orikai Au Ves. It is a magic tome featuring a complete record of the all nations pre-collapse. 

Athena says, ” What so special about…Uhm…Karak Kulume. That’s also a stupid name why didn’t the system translate it properly.” 

Sihle says, “The system can’t this is the closest it can get. I can simplify This book is a complete history of all pre-collapse nations, peoples and histories in fact it is the Census Notes of the continent what is of particular interest to us is the Twelve Garden Forts.”   

Asa says, “You can’t just say that and continue as if nothing happened. That book is not available at low levels how did you get it.” It has to do directly with what she is investigating. The fundamental method in which Odyessy was coded has brought up certain points of interest for her.
