Chapter 95: Dungeon Part: 16

Tyr is the first to log back into the game. After the chat with everyone and looking over his biometrics. He has set a date with the doctor for the end of the week. His outburst was really uncalled for he can’t even explain where it came from. He has never spoken to Mei like that. 

Nineth Immortal appears next to her sliver red hair done up in a bun. Nineth Immortal is like a classic three kingdoms heroin. Her aura has Tyr looking anywhere but straight at her eyes, She is a cauldron of emotion. 

Tyr tries to muster the courage to apologize but every time he opens his mouth. His Adam’s apple does a violent backflip in his throat. His stomach even rolls uncontrollably at the thought of contrition. He didn’t lie he spoke his truth it needed to be said too. Yet it is not him it’s not how he treats people.

Nineth Immortal walks with her head held high emotions boiling behind a cold exterior waiting for the rest of the team to login. Tyr admires her long neck high cheekbones and wings. They stand there for a minute in complete silence

Tyr says, ” Rena! Focus we are about to enter the battlefield you are supposed to be our vanguard. Hurry the hell up.” Rena quickly focuses on the large expansive cave in front of them. Scarred gems and cracked stones line the walls of this cave. A hint of cooked meat in the air. Rena thinks to herself, ‘ I really need to eat a filling dinner. STOP THAT I won’t get fat.’ 

The stalactites covered roof looms over the team. A sense of danger thick as damp permeates the cave. The cave is also devoid of any bugs or smaller creatures. 

The cave is actually eerily quiet. A crumbling of rock attracts everyone attention to the location of the rock that slipped free of its hold. If Lucindas’ eyes had moved any faster she round has pulled a muscle.

Tyr takes out a potion to drink. The strange green liquid slashes about as he hands it to Rena and says, “drink this pass it on to the others.” A simple potion of mental fortitude.

Lucinda after drinking some of the thick bitter and particulate filled potion. She passes it to Nineth Immortal sniffs it that causes her face to twist before she begrudgingly takes the smallest sip and says, ” If you knew that something like this could happen you could have told us to bring some.” Her voice measured hammered like well-forged steel.

Tyr says, ” Well uhm it’s just something I prepared just in case. ” This is the truth and while he felt he should have spoken more forcefully. He is still the one in the wrong for yesterday. 

Lucinda says, ” So does that mean you have other bottles” Tyr nods and sends her his potion page list. He has potions for every ailment. In the beginning, he had spent some time trading with other players. 

Tyr says, “This should protect us from the fear aura of the Dragon.” Tyr smiles physical dragons use auras. This would be for the best now that he has no weapon his magic power is all he has to fall back on. A physical opponent is just the kind of enemy he needs.

Nineth Immortal says, ” Hmpfh” Boys really are stupid no Tyr is stupid. STUPID TYR. 

Amalya waves them down, she has spotted a figure in the distance. The dragon looks to be resting. Its thick scales and sharp claws are well maintained, unlike the cave. The bright red drake sat lazily enjoying the atmosphere it had created. 

The scent of the intruders is the first thing to enter its range. Its large diamond sharp teeth are visible as it twists its head while still lying on the ground. Its body was forced onto its back hind leg scratching at the walls. It growls a threat no Nineth Immortal heard wrong it is a warning.

“Go back from wince ye came!” The dragon speak is layered in a strange dialect that Nineth Immortal can hardly understand. 

Nineth Immortal says, ” I am here for you.” It is one eye that focuses on her. Its gaze has a strange paralyzing effect on her. 

She grumbles, “Tis be folly we are but keys to the door you cannot hope to open.” Nineth Immortal is in no mode for the ramblings of another dragon.

Nineth Immortal says, ” If you surrender I will make it quick. ” Tyr things peering through his memories.

He says, ” Ruk Norre uld drum?” The dragon tongue falls out of it mouth clearly amused.

She responds, “Ney tor Kang drum uldt.” A puff of fire coming out here nostrils. She refocuses back to the Nineth Immortal and growls, ” Woe to thee leave this place or face your death. ” 

Nineth Immortal smiles another dragon is about to meet her crossbows bolt. She moves closer. Tyr tries to grab her arm. She violently fresh herself from his grip.

She dragon growls as Nineth Immortal steps closer. ” Have at me demon!” The dragon goes from frolicking to fighting in an instant.

Nineth Immortal lifts up her arm with the three dragon scales, she says, ” By the power.” Her arm begins to glow. 

The dragon starts off the fight properly. Sticking itself firmly to the ground and opens its mouth after taking a deep breath. A [Concentrated Dragons Breath] Starts to build up.

Besides the dragons’ breath, its other skills are also blocked from Nineth Immortals’ perspective. Her heart jumps for a moment as her scale takes a while to activate however so does the dragons’ breath. Chais had been correctly confident but there is no way she could have accounted for Nineth to be a Raconi. Their abilities are just as strong as those binging to Dragonslayers. 

Chais in the middle of her spell feels the shackles of her mother. The magic she is channelling belongs to the dragon God herself. Chais sweats little if the dragon priest sent these people then she is really in trouble. 

Spiritual laden golden shackles transpose themselves onto Chais. Unlock before Nineth Immortal has spoken the words summoned the power her self making it much stronger. She might not have all the words yet but it’s enough to shackle all but Chais physical ability. Her level shrinks with her size as goes from an intimidating three hundred and fifty feet to barely seventy feet long. The Drake even losses its compound scales for some basic barn red scales.

Chais hasn’t been this weak in several thousand years. Her one hit kill spell turns into a round of the mill [Dragons Breath ] that doesn’t even cover the distance between her and the team of humans attacking her.

Rena is the first to love into position in front of Nineth Immortal. Rena even says, “You out of position!” Nineth Immortal tries to give her the stink eye but Rena is no slouch especially when it concerns her levels. Even a weakened dragon is still a dragon. If the last fight is anything to go by this will be just as dangerous and they are two levels lower than back then. 

Nineth Immortal moves back as Lucinda and Amalya take up positions the triangle formation will allow them to bounce the aggro of the dragon around the three of them while Tyr and nineth Immortal provide support fire.

Chais prepares herself her scales dance on her body as heat moves through them. Without access to her most deadly skills, she puts her all into combat.
