Amalya moves forward shield up towards the Red Iron Ants in front of her in the tunnel as the main tank of this team. It is her responsibility to generate enough aggro to focus all the enemies on her. The Red Iron Ants have all their information available. It is one of the benefits of an infestation all monster information is freely available. Amalya is thus better able to understand the enemy and she must do. Behind her, Tyr and Omnicornlyre are ready waiting for a signal before they move in. Of course, Tyr could overpower these few drones but this is the perfect time to build teamwork which they will need to defeat the boss. Tyr doesn’t want to cripple their progress by making them too reliant on him.

Info: A drone of the Red Iron colony. One of the weakest Ants found in the colony. The light red hew is due to them being the least compatible with Red Iron.

The Red Iron Drones all have high health even with the low compatibility with the element of iron. It appears as patches on their mandibles, and thorax mostly. Amalya lets them swing first she doesn’t use any skill yet instead of taking the reduced she receives. Her shield is able to block most of the raw the drones can produce. As such she only losses a total of 222 health points of her total of six hundred. Once the ants have attacked her she casts [Retaliate] which generates three hundred per cent more aggro depending on how much damage she received. Amalya rolls forward past the Drone forcing them to show their back to Tyr and Omnicornlyre. Amalya says, “Now!” 

Omnicornlyre in a plume of void teleports next to one of the drones they are only about the size of dogs so easily towers over it. She uses her short blades as these work much better indoors. Even with her size is clearly the fastest player here in terms of raw speed. Her Void hunter class is after all an agility focused class. She rushes it with simple attacks attack three times per second the drones lose 600 health on average per attack. It takes her only a few seconds with the aid of another few shots for Amalya to take down her Drone. By the time she is done Tyr had melted his own her empowered his spear with fire and cut it down. 

They collect the few pieces of loot which are red iron plates. the exp is not bad either as they receive about 3300 exp each. Amalya has to adjust herself as she wants to set a record she can’t wait for skills to cool down. So she has to all her skill starting with her spirit shot. as they fly through the dungeon first area is mostly filled with drones. Amalya doesn’t stop moving rather attacking each drone one at a time. Pulling it to twist around and allowing Tyr and Omnicornlyre to gank it from behind. The tunnels they are building are all interconnected and oddly conjoined the deeper they go.

Normally if they had Spirit Guardian they would definitely need some kind of healing yet Amalya is showing that normal regen is more than enough to keep her at mostly full health. With Tyr whenever they make a mistake he uses block or another skill to close the range and attract the ant. Omnicoirnlyre has made more mistakes. This doesn’t sit well with her but she doesn’t know what she can do to be as productive as Amalya. 

They mow down the worker ants in even less time saving almost twenty minutes. Their coordination only increased as the speed difference turned Omnicornlyre into a demon the ants could hit. Amalya is sure if she had a full uncommon set Omnicornlre might even be able to solo this dungeon. Amalya says, “Shouldn’t the enemies be more difficult we did choose the hardest difficulty.” 

Omnicornlyre can’t believe what Amalya is saying she is crazy strong. If she belives this is easy then the girl has a screw loss. For more than an hour and a half Omnicornlyre has been as focused as she can be. The pace is making her mentally tired more than anything she has never once felt mentally fatigued at this level. Omnicornlyre is already looking forward to doing some less stressful activity while she recovers.

Tyr says, “you have a skewered view of what difficult is because of your early experience with me and your sisters. Secondly, she is still waiting for you. Let’s see how confident you are after around with her.” Tyr points at the queen Red Iron ant. Unlike what Amalya expected the queen isn’t tethered to a massive birth pod that restricts her movement. Rather she buzzes around laying eggs wherever she likes on the roof of her chamber. 

Omnicornlyre whistles as she’s the queen has three rows of health they have to go through to kill her. The queen buzzes towards them as a zone as they enter her chamber proper. She crashes down onto Amalya.

Tyr says, “Be careful bosses with an evasive skill are hard to kill if you allow them to escape.” Amalya looks at Tyr with a strange look on her face. She is going over the number like the queens’ defences are very strong and she still has the ability to summon allies through her Cohort skill. It will take them longer than two hours to beat if they fight like normal. Amalya understands the real challenge is the boss and thus is not underestimating her. 

Amalya says, “Tyr is there not anything you can do to help…Wait! I don’t mean one that will require you to be in the lead and everything. I don’t know exactly but help us with some skill that will reduce the amount of time it will take to kill her.” Getting through the Red Iron Carapace that is like a suit of armour will be why this takes long. Tyr knows of course how to defeat her given his vast memories but what Amalya wants is a practical solution, not a game bug.  Tyr has been wanting to try something since he found her is an internal user. His skill has always been similar to a spell blade and Magicweaponeer it’s just that he has a lot more in common with combat enchanter too.

It has more to do with a persons force of will and challenging oneself. Omnicornlyre thinks it a little alien to be so determined to push themselves in a game. To the point where they limit themselves. He brings each of them closer and runs his hands over their weapons. The lines of them are filled with fire magic.

He wonders if he should collect these players and form a super squad. He can imagine it now, a hundred man squad based solo with the most powerful Odyessy players ever. The Queen smashes into the ground though she is big she is incredible light. That is what makes Red Iron so valuable it is common metal with the same potential as some rare metals. Tyr, doesn’t plan to reveal this so that at the beginning his blacksmiths will use an amount attributed to normal steel. This will unfairly bulk, many of their melees players. It’s the same that it becomes brittle when fused with too much magic. 

Amalya immediately uses shield bash to slam into the fallen who landed on her back. The kick to the head had changed the trajectory of her dive. Amalya follows these with a series of simple attacks while Tyr and Omnicronlyre attack the side. 

Amalya shouts,” Omnicornlyre! Move faster hit the legs forget the wings.” By Amalya estimation the wings of Red Iron Queen are pure Red IRon which will waste a lot of time if they attack it. In less than thirty seconds the queen has recovered but she has also suffered almost ten per cent in lost health. 

Omnicornlyre tries to follow instructions to be bumped out of the way by Tyr as a cutting Red Iron Leg hits him. Tyr is flung half his health taken in an instant yet Tyr manages says, “It’s fine just don’t get hit at all even if it means you don’t attack.” The void element is what worried Tyr Omnicronlyre underestimates the damage she had nearly OT Amalya just now…
