Chapter 158: A Sub Mission

SKY Ocean Hunter sits on the sandy beaches of Risen Reef Town. He is currently on a personal call with Lux they are having a heated moment again. SKY Ocean Hunter says, “Why can’t you trust me, Athena. Seriously this is unfair I have never given you a reason to worry about me like that. What is it about me that makes you think I am that kind of guy, you have known me for how long now?! Hello? Say somethingplease talk to me, Athena.” His voice fell his a high heat to a low almost pathetic whimper, the plea so sincere his voice sounded like when he was three. 

Lux hears him but he won’t understand her, feelings are fickle things. She stays quiet for as long as her heart will allow her every passing second a tiny twisting knife. “I, know but this is real those girls you are going with are basically a gaggle of whores ready to gobble you up. Have you seen their profiles, I mean each of them is a looker. A proper babe, a worldly bird and you expect me to believe that you will not betray my trust. Please you can’t help yourself you’re just a boy. John don’t you see we aren’t meant to be” SKY Ocean Hunter snaps his jaw interrupting her, this is akin to him slamming a hand onto a table. 

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “You can’t possibly mean that not after all we have been through to get to this point. Athena, I attached myself to your application to Mars. Me! A child back then took it upon himself to give you his allotment. Against the wishes of my parents. I didn’t do it because it is the right thing. I did it because you asked me to. You, Athena, asked me and I did it, I broke my back helping you and now you want to say this to me.”

Lux says, “And what I’m supposed to be on my knees and worship you. I am a person John! I feel and what I feel is unsettling to me. John this is only the beginning, I let that girl stay close because it was necessary and now another one shows up. You must be hinting or something or are you suddenly a chick magnet for any sloppy hoe john!”

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “So what if I am Athena, that’s not the point I’m asking you, why you don’t trust me? After everything you know about me what makes you think you can’t trust me? Tell me Athena what is it you see that makes you doubt me?” Heartbreak in his voice as those last words creep out. He never thought about himself from her point of view. 

Lux says, “I don’t” Another pop of those jaws a snarl and a deep bubble of water.

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “I deserve the truth and I deserve better than an I don’t know” He can her breathing heavily this month has been almost as difficult as any they have been through before. Being apart has made it easier for them but that is only for during the night. They still see each other every day together outside Odyessy.

Lux says, “John-Baptist you are a good man that is your fault. You don’t see what I see and it makes you weak this trust you have in people and their goodness. I’m anever mind John do what you want with your squad-a-hoes.” She had nearly broken protocol for a man. This is not why she is here. She drops the call not wanting to give him another word. Her heart won’t bear it at least this way if he ends it she has protected herself.

SKY Ocean Hunter wants to log off and pull Athena out she is right next to him. He could do it drag her and force her to talk to him, but that makes him feel sick in the pit of his stomach. Would he ever do anything like that, he is so much bigger than her. It scares him that he even thought about it to his size to control her like that is just wrong.

He knows why he called her instead of just meeting her in the real world. They have in the past easily taken a quick lunch together. But they don’t do that anymore in fact they haven’t done so for a while now. He feels she is pushing him away like before she moved here.

“HEY!!!” says Calypso she has been calling at SKY Ocean Hunter from the moment they spotted him on the beach.

She is so excited that her squad is the only one available to help in his mission home. SKY Ocean Hunter finally notices her when she smacks him with her tail, the lashing tail of a whip makes him whimper a bit. He grabs his back over-exaggerating the physical pain trying to hide the emotional turmoil going on in his heart. The others are confused it wouldn’t hurt them at all but Calypso nonetheless panics thinking she somehow really injured him. 

Calypso is still wearing a River stream light sheer dress that barely keeps her breast covered. Her items are of similar fashion being minimal and alluring. She runs her arm along with his their scales popping. Gorgons are extremely physical people especially when underwater touch and light are the main forms of communication.

They are joined by SmittenKitten69 she is a Lamia rubbing her shoulders with them. Being a shy person natural not need to talk works perfectly for her. It’s why she choose the species they have many other ways of nonverbal communication but Lamia in particular also have a form of telepathy they can use. 

Then comes a Melusine named Mcqueen she is thin for a Melusine and her eyes are purple she also has the strongest scent of magic besides SKY Ocean Hunter himself. He is surprised not that many at his level have as much magic power as him, not even the magical classes. She is also bright like a Sunray having a bright yellow belly and smoother than silk scales. Clearly not a front line fighter like SKY Ocean hunter or even SmittenKitten she has heavy armour scales. 

Then the sweet Hagakure rubs up on all them they all tool about in the sand. The only thing bigger than her smile is her breast. She is a Spanish grey Echidna who is very thin sensorial speaking besides her scent she is hard to make out. 

X2CU the other Lamia jumps in adding her scent to the meeting just as the flamboyant BABYMAKERXCREAM and MagmaHeart aren’t sure what is happening they are not well versed in the ways of Grogon having only recently started the game and only thanks to Calypso did they reach the right level. The ball of Gorgon flesh intermingling with one another stops.

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “Come on you two if we don’t do this they won’t let you in.” As fellow Gorgon spawn, they need to be bonded in his pod. Basically, they are inhaling a lot of his hormonal excretions as a Naga which will make them smell and light up like him. 

BABYMAKERXCREAM says, “Uhm pff no!” She ain’t no floozy. 

Calypso pops out and says, “Well it’s this or go have sex with him” Gorgons only use sex for pleasure. Thus personal relationships are not defined by the connection of the flesh. 

BABYMAKERXCREAM says, “He couldn’t handle all of this honey, move aside and let us in.” MagmaHeart follows behind shy about being what oddly looks like a snake mating ball. The reason she joins is because, she knows it is rude to pretend to be human. Role-Playing is part and course of the game it’s just that she didn’t think she would be gracing an orgy on the beach the first time meeting the big boss. After what seems like a softcore rubbing session to MagmaHeart comes to an end. Calypso starts making introductions between her squad and their leader.

MagmaHeart thinks to herself, ‘We should have started with this first.’ The odd thing was amazing it felt the rubbing of scales is like a hug in winter. 

Calypso says, “As you all know this is our amazing leader SKY Ocean HunterYea?” BABYMAKERXCREAM puts up her hand like a school kid. Calypso acknowledges the other Melusine.

BABYMAKERXCREAM says, “I have been meaning to ask do we have to SKY Ocean Hunter all the time?”

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “Yes, SKY is an abbreviation of my name Ocean is a title I earned and Hunter is how I earned that title. It is critical to remember the full names of prominent Naga. My homeland is a meritocracy and that is taken very seriously.

Magmaheart says, “So your name is even longer.” She looks a little whelmed by that it is already difficult trying to use USL in less than two weeks real time but at least Calypso paid for a good school inside a folded land.

Calypso says, “His name is much longer than you think.” A thought suddenly hits the shy and soft-spoken elegant SmittenKittten69. She is comfortable hanging from SKY Ocean Hunters back she is almost half his length. 

SmittenKitten69 says, “Wait I’m confused I choose my name before even starting the game how did you know you would be SKY Ocean Hunter.” SKY Ocean Hunter is a little confused by that and looks at Calypso.

Calypso says, “If I’m not mistaken it is similar to me and Lyra. I was automatically renamed when I become River Lord, Lyra from that vixens squad is Lake Ruler and she also had her name changed. I’m named after the person my clan hopes me to be while Lyra is named for the god she worships. This is something all Gorgons of ‘Royal’ blood do, the missions are not hard to find but much harder now that the game has officially started.”

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “It is not as hard as she makes it sounds I was very lucky and my house was very desperate. Here please eat these they are Sea-shrooms from the ocean floor you will need them in the depths. Like most sea creatures Gorgons’ need to artificial generate the chemicals that create the bioluminescent used under the sea. Everyone takes a small bag of limitless Sea-shrooms.

Calypso says, “This shy wonder here is SmittenKitten69.” SmittenKitten69 coils up in embarrassment her red scales quivering. The reds all accent her figure and she nods eating a handful of mushrooms.

BABYMAKERXCREAM says her name puffing out her massive chest and pointing to herself as if anybody could miss her contagious personality. Her body is not the only thing big on her. They go through all names until SKY Ocean Hunter knows each of them by name, They spend almost three hours, talking and getting to know each other. This is an important bonding session and also gives the Sea-shrooms time to work which take about two hours.

Calypso is the first to break for the ocean she prefers the rivers but has made sure they all know how to swim under the sea. Their first stop is a Seaweed mall about three kilometres deep in the ocean. It is actually much closer to Pike.

A somewhat weary MagmaHeart says, “Can’t we just take a raft you’ll.” X2CU gives her a hug pulling her along as they follow the others without saying a word. She is doing it for both of them it helps her conquer her fear by helping others.

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “Stay close getting home is its own challenge.” With most of the undersea currents fully functional now. Moving between regions in the Barren Sea is no problem. Dangerous but not a problem SKY Ocean Hunter already gave Calypso a brief on what they can expect. Naga is in fact as old as Gorgons but due to mixing over the years they are no longer considered a separate species.
