I somehow knew things were going to change for the worse the moment Andros showed up. He is unpredictable, and there are rumors that he wishes to take Lucifer’s place as the King of Hel.

Even Kumo, who was frozen from Andros’s presence, couldn’t fight against his overwhelming bloodlust and eventually passed out just like the others. Only I was shielded from it. He was protecting me for some reason.

The demon slayer gritted his teeth as the black aura that was seeping from his body finally dissipated. His legs weakened, and he fell down to one knee, still clutching his blade tightly as he clung to consciousness.

He let out a loud guttural roar as he tried to stand up and fight, but the moment he tried to push himself off the ground, he collapsed, fainting on the spot.

Andros didn’t spare him a glance and only reached his hand out to me.

“Come with me, Khalissi.”

With no other choice, I took it, and soon the two of us were soaring through the skies.
