Chapter 48: Uncontrollable

The moment the alpha sank his fangs into my neck, I played the part and acted as if I were under his control, just like everybody else.

“From this moment on, all of you will be a part of the Lycann Pack.”

Soon, our pack members welcomed us with open arms. They all surrounded us and patted us on the back as they offered kind words. I was a bit overwhelmed by the crowd, but there was nothing I could do.

They decided to hold a small celebration to welcome us into the pack. They also burned the body of the skinwalker we brought back. The celebration lasted until night fell, and we were escorted to our new home.

Since my mother was the alpha’s sister, it meant we would be staying with him and his family. Luckily, the their wooden lodge had enough room for all of us to stay. While we walked back, I approached Isabella.

“How are you feeling?” I asked.

“I’m fine. Don’t worry, I didn’t submit to him. I’m still under your control,” Isabella said, knowing the exact reason why I approached her. But as we walked, I noticed the bite mark he had given her on the neck had not fully healed.

Liora had a healing ability almost as good as mine, so it was surprising. Though in comparison, it took several hours for mine to heal. Normally, a bite like that would heal within a few seconds. It went to show just how powerful the alpha was.

When he sank his teeth into my neck, I could feel his overpowering bloodlust. It took everything I had not to react to it. Killing intent is normally meant to intimidate one’s opponent but if its from an opponent weaker or slightly stronger than you then it might feel more as if they were issuing you a challenge.

That was exactly how it felt when I felt the alpha’s killing intent.

“By the way, have you seen Lily? I haven’t seen her since we’ve been back,” Isabella asked, looking a bit worried.

Just then, my mother overheard her question and answered.

“She’s with the twins. They basically kidnapped her.”

Just then, Isabella’s entire face turned red, and she began to pout.

Is she jealous?

Seeing her expression, my mother didn’t waste the chance to tease her.

“Seeing as you like children so much, you should get one of your own.” My mother had a devilish smile on her face as she said that.

“Of my own?” Isabella asked with a puzzled look on her face.

With a cheeky smile on her face, my mother pointed her in my direction. Isabella looked at me, and her entire face looked like a giant tomato.

“I couldn’t! We couldn’t! We’re too young!”

“You can’t say you haven’t thought about it. You’re part vampire, so I would imagine you’ve been overcome by a lot of sexual desires, especially when you’re drinking blood.”

“No, that’s not…”

“Can we drop the conversation?” I tried to intervene, but my mother was adamant.

She rested her index finger on her chin and asked a question I never wanted to hear from my own mother.

“How many times have you masturbated while thinking of my son?”

“Mom!” Liora and Allison shouted with a look of disgust.

“Darling, that’s enough,” my father tried to stop her.

“I-I never meant to!” Isabella shouted while waving her hands frantically. Her red face made it look like she was puffing out smoke.

Seeing her reaction, my mother burst out laughing uncontrolably.

“Where did my lazy son find such a cute girl!”

“That’s enough, darling. You’re embarrassing them.”

My mother ignored my father’s protest and continued laughing hysterically until suddenly she grabbed Isabella and hugged her tightly, leaving Isabella suffocating against her chest.

“I’d be happy to have you as a daughter.”

Hearing her words, tears welled up in the corner of Isabella’s eyes, then a smile formed on her lips, and she returned my mother’s hug.

“Isn’t she already your daughter, though?” Liora asked with a frown. “Since she’s a part of our pack and all.”

My mother didn’t answer; instead, she smiled and pulled Liora into the hug too. Allison pouted when she saw this.

“Eh! No fair!”

She pounced on them, almost knocking the group over. My father smiled at them while Derrick watched with a frown on his face. I, on the other hand, remained neutral. Of course, I was happy that my family was accepting Isabella.

When I first met her, I never thought I would see the day when she would smile. A girl who thought that her single existence was meant to serve someone else. It was the way she thought that interested me at first, and now she was on the list of persons I needed to protect.

Shortly after, we arrived at where we would be staying for the foreseeable future. The lodge was rather spacious. The moment we stepped in, we saw Lily enjoying a piggyback ride on one of the twins, who was hunched over on the floor.

Lily giggled wildly as the other twin watched them with a small smile on her face, but the moment they saw us, they all froze.

“Mama, Papa!”

The moment Lily saw us, she ran toward us and leaped into my mother’s arms. My mother hugged her tightly and showered her in kisses, which caused her to giggle even more.

“Lyanna, Kaela, hope Lily didn’t cause you too much trouble,” my mother said with a kind smile.

Being identical twins, it would be hard for the average person to tell them apart. The only difference between them was their hair length. Kaela had short silver hair, and she was the one giving Lily a piggyback ride. She was always cheerful and held a smile on her face.

Lyanna, on the other hand, seemed like the serious type. And unlike Kaela, her white hair was long, cascading down to her waist.

Kaela smiled at my mother and responded.

“Oh, not at all. The little cutie is fun to have around.”

My mother smiled at her.

“I’m glad.”

She then turned her attention to us.

“You guys remember the twins, right? I guess they are a bit hard to tell apart, so if you need help, just look at their breasts. Kaela has a bigger bust, G cups, right?”

Kaela’s entire face turned red as she began stammering over her words.

“I-I… um… can’t.”

The poor girl was so embarrassed that tears formed in the corner of her eyes, but my mother didn’t stop talking.

“Lyanna’s breasts are a bit smaller. They are about the same size as Liora’s, so I guess B cups.”

Lyanna stared at her and frowned.

“I see you haven’t changed a bit, Aunty. You still take pleasure in teasing others,” she sighed.

My father sighed at his wife’s lack of control while Kaela became a bit self-aware and started covering herself up.

This was just the start, but I could see that living here would be a bit of a hassle.
