Friday Evening
Unknown Laboratory
“Good Evening, Doctor.”
“Master! It’s good to see you.”
“You as well. Now, how fares the laboratory construction project?” All-For-One asked, taking a seat on a nearby stool that creaked loudly underneath him.
“Things have progressed flawlessly since that last infusion of money. We have five labs online, with another five being constructed. Each has fifty tanks. Your first group of nomu will be usable in two weeks, with another two batches the following week, though I still would prefer three or four weeks more for the base batches to stabilize. Also, the six remaining in the main lab have been fully stabilized, each with multiple Quirks and are ready for your commands. I’ll be starting on another batch of eight elite nomu tomorrow.” The Doctor replied, handing his master a file containing his progress report.
“Excellent. I have been exhausting myself modifying some of these new recruits’ minds to become more loyal and lead our forces, and I believe we are almost ready to begin our first real attack on the government.”
“Do you have a target in mind?”
“Several. I believe that our first mission should be big, loud, and provide cover for our actual objective. I need to do some scouting first, but sometime this week, we will make our true debut.”
“Any major concerns? All Might still hasn’t been seen in over two weeks now.”
“I suspect he is still in recovery from his battle with Nomu. The media has been quiet since it was announced he was actually injured, so I suspect that the government is muzzling them. Yet another reason to bring this corrupt system down.”
“Hah, but we would do the same, would we not?”
“Quite, but at least I would not hide behind the false morality of claiming these are free people in a free and open system. As long as they support me, I will bring power to them. Allowing for discourse opens the doors for dissent, and I cannot allow that when I control Japan.”
“What of this vigilante called the Twilight Knight? If Kurogiri had not opened portals deep in the ocean, he might have thwarted us again the other day.”
“Our spy in U.A. says he has a lead on who he is, and is in the process of confirming that for me. We should know in a few days who keeps interrupting our plans, though in all honesty, he is only a minor annoyance.”
“Minor? He killed Nomu and Tomura, not to mention maiming Kurogiri. Then he killed several promising minions in the hotel.” The Doctor said, confused as to why his Master wasn’t more concerned with this man.
“Were you able to repurpose their corpses for new Nomu?”
“Well, yes-“
“Then it is only a minor setback,” AFO stated, ending their discussion on the matter. “Oh, that reminds me, I believe I have found a possible new body for myself among the recruits, one whose mind is sufficiently broken to be susceptible to the process of possession. Though… it will be slightly distasteful.”
“How so?”
“Well… She is a girl.”
“So… will I need to start calling you Mistress?”
“Lord, please don’t, doctor. I’m not sure I could handle that.” AFO chuckled in honest mirth at the prospect. “Right now, she is my last resort. I still have time, and I intend to keep searching for a new body before this one fails me entirely.”
“What is this girl’s name, in case I need to start the process myself?”
“Toga. Toga Himiko.”
Jaku City
Rumi’s Dojo
“Use more tongue, Asui.”
“John, don’t you think that sounds a little wrong to say to a teenager?”
“You know damn well what I- Oh… you’re teasing me again.”
“Yup. *Ribbit* And it gets you every time.” She replied with a shit-eating grin on her face.
“Remind me, why did I agree to spar with you?”
“Beats me. Maybe you have a thing for cute girls with long tongues.” She said, batting her overly long eyelashes. Despite her irises being pitch black, there was a very playful cheeriness in them.
“Well, if nothing else, you will be able to bewilder your opponents with your witty comments.”
“That wasn’t a denial. *Ribbit*”
John sighed, refusing to get into this conversation’s more playful side. “Still, the point stands. You basically have an extra arm that you can use to strike your opponent with, one that can punch, wrap, or even blind them. Now, let’s go one more time before we rotate.”
After intercepting the Mei missile with a bear hug earlier, John brought the students back to the dojo with him. Mei and Momo had disappeared down into their lair, Mei using Momo’s Quirk to create materials to build reinforcements into several areas of the workshop. The two had come up with plans to create some machinery they wanted to show him next week once it was finished.
That left John alone with Midoriya, Ochaco, and Asui, as Rumi and Yu had yet to return from the day’s patrol. So, instead of wasting their time, he started to train the three of them. He had them doing circuits of different exercises he thought would work well with their Quirks, while he would spar with one of them for five minutes before switching to the next student.
He had already cycled through them all a few times, then allowed them all to rest for five minutes before going again. This was the sixth time he fought with Asui, and if nothing else, he learned how it felt to be wrapped up in a frog’s tongue today.
“I think I still have some of your beard hair on my tongue from last time.” She said, assuming her fighting stance.
“And? I have seen some of the things you have wrapped that tongue of yours around. A bit of beard hair is the least of your concerns.” He replied, remembering her using it to swing off or grab different things in the exercises they had at the sports field and the U.S.J.
“You have a dirty mind, John. What is this poor student supposed to think?”
“Wha- Ack!” John started to say, but had to dive to the side to avoid being wrapped by her tongue again.
“John? What is going on here?” Rumi said, walking into the dojo with Yu at her side.
“Uh-oh, your old lady is going to get you- Eeekk!” Tsui started to say, but she had to tumble to the ground to avoid his assault.
“Just a little sparring, darling. One moment, I have a particularly gabby student who needs her mouth washed out with soap.”
“Hah! Wait? Is that Tsui? I saw great potential in you, girl; you’d better not let John beat you. We have a particularly nasty brand of soap ready just for the occasion.” Rumi said with a snicker, adding on to John’s threat.
Despite her high agility, John managed to corner her after about thirty seconds, then used his heightened reflexes to grab her tongue and wrap it around his arm. He forced her to concede defeat afterwards.
“You did well, Tsui.” He said, patting her on the shoulder.
“Winning one out of six bouts is good?”
“I’m taller, stronger, and nearly as fast as you are, so I’d say you did quite well. That tongue wrap surprised me the first time, but once you become a well-known hero, you probably won’t want to lead with it, as the villains might be expecting it. Keep it as an ace in the middle of a combo.”
“Got it! Thank you!” She said, then gave him an unexpected high-five.
He gathered the other two students into the dojo and sent Mei and Momo to come outside. The girls had a quick meeting with Rumi and Yu about next week’s plans, while John pulled Midoriya aside.
“Listen, we are going to train here tomorrow and most days next week, and only go out on patrol a couple of times with the women. Rumi is also going to chip in a bit with your martial arts training, as I doubt there is a better instructor around. All Might should be back soon as well, and hopefully, between the three of us, we can help you control your powers better. “
“I think I’m actually starting to get the hang of it now. I have been keeping it activated at low power almost constantly when I’m alone. See?” He said, then activated his Quirk again. Red lines started to cross his body, along with the blue-green lines of power he had before. “I’m calling this Full Cowl. I can hold five percent easily, though it gets unstable when I try for much more.”
“Excellent! I knew you could do it. Proud of you, kid.” John said, smiling down at Midoriya. He seemed incredibly happy every time John praised him before, and today was no different; the lad was almost breaking out in tears again.
Once Rumi and Yu had relayed their expectations, the students departed for home, though Momo joined them again for supper. John whipped up a massive stir-fry again, not having time to do anything fancy. Afterwards, the girls went back to the agency basement, leaving John with Rumi and Yu, who relaxed for a few minutes by the Koi pond before they went back to training.
“The girls are going to sleep in your room tonight, John,” Rumi said suddenly, breaking the silence.
“Oh? I take it I finally get to come into your room?”
“Yeah. My bed is a bit larger, though not much. I’m afraid my little house won’t be big enough for us much longer.”
“We could expand it. Add on some larger rooms. There is a bit of yard behind it that isn’t being used.”
“True. Except, we kind of extended our finances a bit to pay for the Agency. Even with my savings and the discount we received from the Takeyamas, it will be some time before we can pay it down.”
“Sorry, I am tapped out too. I’m still on the hook for most of the damage I caused. Even when we move into the agency, that will only free up about 200 000 yen a month, which I should really be putting towards the debt.”
John pulled out his phone and did a quick conversion using the current USD-to-Yen rate. “I have about forty million Yen, if that helps. Plus, the school is paying me eight hundred thousand a month.”
Rumi blinked. “That is the price of a modern house in most places near all but the largest cities. I paid that much for this compound, and the only thing Jaku really has going for it is that it’s quiet for a city and is close to several larger cities.”
“Well, other than food and some lawn maintenance, you haven’t asked me to help you with anything. Our relationship has changed since then, wouldn’t you say?” He said, then leaned down to give her a kiss. “We don’t need to decide tonight, but we can either expand the place or rebuild. Though I have kind of grown fond of the minimalist design, so I think we should just have some rooms added on at most.”
“John…”
“And Yu… I can help you a little with your debt. I don’t know how much it is, but I can easily meet your two hundred thousand a month to help you pay it down faster.” He said to her, then gave her a kiss before leaning back against the tree. “Between the three of us… Four, including Anan, we should have more than enough money to live a decent life here.”
“John…I can’t-“
“Alright! Get up now, mister! We are going to train, and train hard.” Rumi said, jumping to her feet and dragging the pair of them up as well.
“Wha!” John exclaimed as he stumbled forward, only to be caught by the Rabbit woman, who immediately flipped both of them onto her shoulders and started to jog to the dojo.
“We are going to train you until you’re strong enough to win against me. Then we are taking this big thing, and you’re going to put a baby in my belly.” She stated that as if it were an irrefutable fact, grabbing onto his cock through his pants to emphasize her point. “I’m already one of the best fighters in the world, now I want to rise to a new challenge, and become the best mother in the world. The mother of your children.”
“Rumi! Have you gone insane?” Yu asked, flabbergasted again at how bold the bunny could become sometimes.
“Maybe! But he loves me how I am!” She shouted happily.
John just started to laugh as he bounced along. Whatever happens in his life going forward, he knew Rumi would find new and exciting ways to keep things interesting.
