[3rd POV]

Sitting behind her counter, Wanda wondered who would come through the door next, now that she had connected it to the universe she knew so very much. A universe where another version of her likely exists, a universe where a younger her might be walking about.

Another younger version of her at least.

She was well beyond any of her counterparts at this point. And she was likely almost as powerful as the one who gave the Scarlet Witches all their incredible power, the Queen of Nevers.

She honestly hoped it was someone a bit less…dramatic, as she had a feeling her counterpart wouldn’t take kindly to her. As while she didn’t know where in the timeline her shop was appearing, she imagined it was before the day everything changed.

The day she spoke the words that made her a villain forever.

Remembering the words she spoke, Wanda sighed. Even though her first life was that of a normal person, she did inherit some of the less than stellar memories of her “Other life” in which she was simply Wanda Maximoff, and not what she was now.

The one thing she absolutely did not want was to see her sons, or her counterparts’ sons. The memories that would bring back…would not be the best, and she’d rather not have to live through that again.

Instead, she was hoping to see someone like Spiderman, who would be a fun first customer to have. Mostly because he was her favorite person in the Marvel universe, with him being a true hero that deals with way more than anyone should ever have to deal with.

Like his situation with Paul and MJ, the Superior Spiderman drama, and everything else.

Way too much for anyone to have to handle.

‘I’ll have to give him a gift if he comes around’ Wanda thought, deciding that she would give him something to deal with all the bad luck that was happening to him.

Wanda looked to her side when she heard someone plop down next to her, causing her to smile when she saw that it was her children, both of them finishing their training for the day, and had decided to come and help out in the shop.

“How did the training go?” Wanda asked, as the two of them glanced at one another, with Naruto pouting at his sister who just grinned in response.

“I completely and utterly trounced little bro. It wasn’t even a fight” Milim said with an arrogant grin on her face, making Wanda deadpan at the response.

“Hon, you are capable of destroying planets, it is only natural that you’d beat Naruto, who is far younger than you, and has only just started properly training. Not to mention the fact that you have skills and he doesn’t. Once he does, I am sure he will rapidly catch up to you” Wanda responded, causing Milim to huff.

“As if! He’ll never catch up to me! Only Mama can beat me in a fight now!” Milim said with an arrogant grin, causing Naruto to scowl.

“Yeah right! I’ll beat you! Once I get my skills I’ll beat you up within a minute, dattebayo!” Naruto exclaimed with a fierce look in his eyes, absolutely certain of the words he had spoken.

Wanda hearing the proclamation could only giggle in response, as Milim growled.

“You’re on, brat! I’ll beat you up even when you get skills!” Milim responded, causing Wanda’s giggle to deepen, loving the sibling rivalry the two had. As it was never beyond that, a sibling rivalry.

They both knew the limits, and knew that their mama would punish them if they ever went too far. And their mama’s punishments are terrifying.

They never wanted to clean up the poop of magical creatures ever again.

Naruto was going to refute her statement and continue the argument, but both had stopped when the front door dinged, and it slowly opened, as Wanda watched, breathing in deeply as she saw who entered.

For the man that entered was known widely as the sorcerer supreme, known as…

Doctor Strange

“I cannot say I was expecting you of all people to find this place first. But I suppose it does make sense, considering who you are” Wanda said out loud, sipping on her tea as Strange looked at her.

“Wanda? Hmm…no, you are not the Wanda of my universe, are you?” Doctor Strange said, noticing that she was…different. He couldn’t sense even the slightest bit of power from her, which was…concerning considering the place he was in was some sort of separate dimension.

“I am not. You can think of me as an older and far more experienced version of her, one that has learned quite a lot about the power that comes with being the Scarlet Witch” Wanda responded with a smile, her children looking at the man in confusion.

“What is this place, Miss Maximoff?” Strange asked, not able to tell what this store was besides it being some sort of separate dimension.

“It’s my bookstore, Steven. A dimension created by myself that can connect to various universes throughout existence. Within it I sell all sorts of books, ones that you cannot find in any other universe. I also accept trades of books, knowledge and even other artifacts” Wanda responded, as she snapped her finger, the magical bookshelves appearing as the man looked at them.

He could tell that quite a number of them were quite interesting, and different than any he had learned, which made him interested in perhaps buying a few.

“And you are not using this store to cause any sort of trouble?” Strange asked, as Wanda giggled.

“Strange, if I wanted to cause any issues, you’d never know before it was too late. So don’t worry, I just want to run my bookstore with my children, and enjoy my life” Wanda responded, as the man noticed the two children next to Wanda.

His eyes paused on Milim as he could feel the immense power within her, and he could even feel the power within Naruto as well, even if it was nothing in comparison to who seemed to be his older sister.

He could also tell just from a look that they were adopted, but decided not to comment on that, and instead looked at the books in interest.

“Is it okay if I were to browse your selection?”

“Of course. You can take all the time you need. We also sell bakery goods too if you are interested, including coffees and teas” Wanda responded, as the man looked a little interested.

“Perhaps once I find a book then I shall order something. But for now, I am more interested in browsing your impressive collection of magical books” Strange said as she nodded in acceptance, watching as he walked over to the magical section.

He almost immediately found a few books on various rituals, and even one on magics specializing in exercising demons. The books were all expertly organized, and was varying in power and difficulty. All of them being categorized by such, so that only the true masters could touch the truly difficult books.

Books that Doctor Strange was already looking over. As he found a few rituals and spells that could be a huge boon to the sorcerers.

“Can I buy multiple copies of a single book?” Strange asked as he looked over the corner of the shelf.

“Hmm? Of course. I can make as many copies of each book as needed. I also give a discount for bulk orders of a single book” Wanda answered, as Strange decided he would need to either trade a few books that he had no use for, or use some of his funds to buy out a few of these books in bulk.

They would be good for Kamar Taj.

Looking over the books, he found that her words of the books being utterly unique to be entirely correct. As he had never seen a single one of these books before.

‘…Perhaps I should tell some of the others about this place…about this Wanda’ Strange thought as he glanced off to where the woman was, who was just smiling as if she knew he was looking at her.

She likely did, if she was able to create a dimension so casually.

At the same time, Wanda was smirking at the man, knowing what he was thinking, only one thought on her mind.

‘This will be an interesting next few days~’
