[3rd POV]

With Lex Luthor now visiting her shop for the first time, Wanda had officially been visited by her first proper villain. He wasn’t really the worst villain or anything, but he was absolutely a villain of impressive power (at least politically).

Later that same day, his people had come and gathered the books to take back to the mans home, where he’d likely be reading through the interesting ones. Of course, Wanda had not given him some of the more dangerous books, and had kept the magic ones hidden.

The magical books were only sold to magic users, that was one of her few rules. While the dangerous books he did not obtain, were only given to those above a certain level of power. Mostly for their own safety than anything else, as they could potentially die if it was used by someone too weak.

A lot of them relied on an immensely powerful physical form, soul, and/or magical power.

So someone like Lex would literally explode if he even attempted to use any of them. Only someone like Zatanna, Zatara, and a lot of the other magical beings in that world would be able to use the magical books. While a being like Superman would be able to use the physical ones without difficulty.

Then there were of course the books on aura, chakra, and the other stuff, which nobody in that universe could use, so it was useless to even try and sell it to them. So, she opted to just show what would likely be caught.

Basically, she gave him the books he deserved and could actually use.

Now that Lex had visited her shop, Wanda knew that she was likely going to be receiving visits from more and more villains, specifically the ones involved with the Light. As once Lex understood what her shop was selling, he would undoubtedly tell his partners about it.

And if the right members visited, then they would be able to buy some of her magical books.

Wanda was finally selling to villains, which was something she had to get used to for the future. Although she found that it wasn’t that difficult, as she stared at the newest villain that was now shopping at her store.

The woman in front of her was certainly foreign, with a darker skin tone. She was also quite beautiful, and gave off a rather “superior” attitude. But one look at her, and Wanda knew that this was…Queen Bee.

She wondered why Queen Bee of all people was here, but she supposed that the woman was here one some sort of visit to America. Or perhaps some meeting with Lex.

Either way, it was a curious sight seeing the woman in front of her.

“Are there any books in particular you are looking for?” Wanda asked, having noticed that Queen Bee has been browsing for quite a while at this point, nearly 10 minutes which was longer than usual before someone would grab their first book.

“Hmm? No, I am simply browsing” Queen Bee responded with a shake of her head, inwardly remembering the warning that Lex had given her.

That the woman who owned the shop was not normal, not with the books she was selling. Selling books that had technologies and sciences beyond anything on Earth, in some cases by decades, to even centuries. All of them being incredible boons.

But Queen Bee was aching to go to a different section in particular, one that she had been glancing at quite a lot. And that was…

The Romance Section.

As it turns out, Queen Bee was quite similar to Blake in the fact that she REALLY liked romance novels and books. Like…way too much. And with how huge the collection Wanda had of them, she was really itching to look over the different books.

“You can browse them, you know. I don’t judge any of my customers and what they buy” Wanda said with an amused giggle, knowing that the woman wanted to go to the romance section and was just trying to keep up appearances for now.

“Wha-I am not interested in such things. Certainly not that romance trash” Queen Bee responded with a huff, causing Wanda to raise an eyebrow.

“Oh? And when did I say anything about romance?” Wanda asked, smirking as the woman looked at her with wide eyes, an embarrassed blush on her cheeks as she coughed and looked away, before grumbling and stomping over to the romance section, her personal guards walking with her with puzzled expressions on their faces.

‘Seems even villains can like romance novels’ Wanda thought in amusement as she watched the woman gather some books, blushes forming on her face as she read through some of the more…smutty books.

Watching this, Wanda sighed.

‘Seems they also tend to be even more strange than heroes’

Wanda certainly underestimated how strange they truly tended to be. As after Queen Bee had visited, she began to get more and more members of the Light visiting her shop.

The next person to visit was Ocean Master, who ended up buying a ton of books on the ocean and magical oceanic creatures from other worlds. Like leviathans, mermaids, and more. He had also bought quite a collection of comics, mostly ones related to oceans, like the Namor comics she had made.

After Ocean Master, she had been visited by Ra’s Al Ghul alongside his daughter Talia. The man had been an interesting visitor, as he seemed to know that she was not a normal human, and seemed to be very respectful of her, more than any of the others had been.

Which meant he likely understood that she could think him out of existence.

He ended up being the first person to bring his own books to trade in, which were actually books from his League, with quite a number of them being interesting and rare enough that he was able to buy books from her shop.

He had bought martial arts books, which she wasn’t surprised by. While Talia had decided on buying books on histories, cooking, and healing arts. All of them being very unique and different than anything they had.

The two were her favorite of the villains that had visited so far. They were respectful and knew better than to piss her off and act arrogant with her.

It was the next customer that was…a little annoying in her eyes, as she stared at the man in front of her. A small fake smile on his face, as Vandal Savage stood in front of her.

“You want me to what?” Wanda asked, as the man responded.

“I wish for you to cooperate with us. To supply us with your wares, and in return, we will sell you books that you cannot find anywhere else” Vandal said simply. Wanda raised an eyebrow at the offer, finding it to be slightly interesting, but not enough.

“I’ll have to deny your offer. I am absolutely neutral, and thus, do not give anyone better treatment than another. If you wish to buy books from me, simply bring money or other books I do not already possess, to trade it. That is how it works for everyone, and how it’ll work for you as well” Wanda replied watching his reaction.

Surpsingly enough, the man only nodded slowly in understanding, as he brought out a card from his pocket.

“That is fair, Miss Maximoff. If that is the case, I wish to buy a copy of every book in this store, just like Luthor did” Vandal said, casually admitting that he was connected to Luthor, which meant the Light absolutely knew she was not a normal human woman.

“As you wish. Are you going to have others come to pick it up like he had?” Wanda asked, as the man nodded as he paid for all of the books, causing her to smile, knowing that she likely just got another repeat customer.

“You do not seem shocked that I know that you are not normal” Vandal noted, as Wanda chuckled.

“As someone who is not normal, I already knew your organization knew that I am not a normal human. Otherwise Queen Bee, Ocean Master, Ra’s, and then you after all of them, would not appear” Wanda responded with a casual hum, as the man just chuckled, realizing she knew all about them.

Which in his eyes, was just interesting and not much else.

With the books bought, the man left soon later, not saying another word after her response, leaving Wanda alone, one thought on her mind.

‘…This’ll be an interesting next few days’
