[3rd POV]

A few more days had passed since the incident and since the villains had their meeting about the event in question. And during that time, she had gotten frequent visits from members of the Light, bringing in new books for her as well as buying out other books that they hadn’t last time.

This included a few new books she had gotten in stock.

But today was a day of visits from otherworldly people. At the moment it was Death, who seemed to be interested in the book she had gotten from Vandal. The book wasn’t from this world and was Apocalyptian in nature so it wasn’t entirely surprising.

“Quite the book to be given as a gift. What happened for Savage to give it to you?” Death asked, as she had no idea. She couldn’t see into the shop or spy on it, so she truly didn’t know what the heroes had done.

“The Justice League thought it was a good idea to intrude into my shop in order to capture Black Adam. That alone wasn’t too much of a problem as they didn’t know about my rules. But what was the problem was Captain Atom deciding to put a hand on Naruto. What followed was them getting banned for a week and Captain Atom being cursed with the inability to ever find romantic or familial love” Wanda responded, Death whistled at the curse.

“Brutal, but fair. Had it been me he would have been hit with something a lot worse than that” Death responded, agreeing with the decision of cursing him. But she personally would have granted him a curse that would have made him live in pain at all times for the rest of his life.

But Wanda seemed to be a bit nicer than that.

“I was tempted, but the guy barely touched him, more so gripped his arm. Had he done anything more than that and I would have given him something far worse than that. If he tries to come back or anything I’ll give him something worse” Wanda responded, chuckling at the thought.

“Good, I like Naruto” Death said with a grin, as she grabbed the book that she was looking at. The book itself was not really that interesting to Wanda, but it did have some history and explanations on the hierarchy of Apokalips, none of that was particularly interesting to someone who already knew most of that thanks to her past life.

Either way she had read it.

“And here I thought you knew everything about a world like that one” Wanda said, looking at the book Death was buying.

“I might be nigh-omniscient but even I don’t know everything. And quite frankly I tend to prefer not to be anywhere near that little planet. Darkseid is an arrogant little man and his true form is even more irritating than his avatars” Death said with a grumble, she was pretty obviously not a fan of the deity.

Wanda wasn’t either to be honest. The whole Anti-life equation thing was stupid, even if she could gain it at literally any moment, considering she knew the equation. Hell, she knew both the Anti-Life and Life Equations. She just didn’t want to deal with the multiversal side effects that would come from her actually claiming them for herself.

At least not yet.

“Fair. The guy and his followers are pricks” Wanda said, not even denying it as she began to check out the books that Death had chosen. Most of them were books on romance but also the book from Apokalips.

After checking them out, Wanda raised an eyebrow at the selection when she gazed at the romance books. Death just blushed slightly in embarrassment.

“Hey, don’t judge me! I’ve been needing some new books to read” Death sharply said, giving Wanda a mock glare as the woman just smirked in response and dropped it.

After paying for the books Death sighed.

“Oh, I should also mention that some of my siblings might be visiting you soon. Delirium has been especially interested in seeing what you sell, and Dream has brought up the possibility of visiting soon as well” Death said remembering the conversation she had with them a while ago.

“Really? I’m not too surprised about Delirium, but I can’t say I expected Dream to want to visit my store” Wanda responded, a bit surprised with this information. Dream didn’t really seem like the type to be interested in that sort of thing. He was the serious type that didn’t really do anything that wasn’t a part of his literal job.

So hearing that he wanted to visit her little bookstore was certainly interesting. He was one of the major cosmic forces that she wanted to meet, as she was really curious to see what his powers actually entailed in person.

The power over dreams was immense, as with it one could theoretically make those dreams a reality, allowing for immense wide scale reality warping through them. And Dream was well…the personification of them, making him one of the strongest beings in the multiverse.

He was weaker than Death and a couple of the other endless but still.

“Yeah, he wants to see some of the books you have. And he is curious how someone like you can exist without him being able to see you” Death responded, not really surprised with her brother’s interest in Wanda. Most of the Endless were interested as she was a curious person.

“Well I’ll have to keep an eye out for him” Wanda said with a hum, wondering when the man would come around.

“Probably best if you do that. Anyways, I’m off, got to get back to work!” Death said as she walked out of the shop a few moments later.

Watching her leave Wanda sighed and leaned back in her chair, wondering who could come in next. She was hoping it would be someone from a different universe as all these DC visits were getting boring.

And thankfully it seemed her hope had been granted, as the door opened. A moment later a figure walked in that caused her eyes to widen slightly, before a small grin formed on her face. As she watched arguably the most iconic anime character of all time, and one of the most iconic characters in general walk in.

Son Goku

“Wowie! Beerus was right, this place is huge!” Goku exclaimed, looking around as another figure walked in a moment later. This figure was of course his rival…

Vegeta

“It’s a bookstore Kakarot, it cannot be that big” He said, before stopping when he noticed that it was indeed far larger than he was expecting. Both of them were cut off from their conversation when they noticed Wanda.

“Whoa, you must be the lady that Beerus told us about! I’m Goku, nice to meet ya!” Goku said with a wide grin as Wanda smiled. She was very happy to see the man in front of her, as he was easily one of her favorite characters in all of fiction.

He was the one that got her into anime at one point.

“Nice to meet you too, Goku, I’m Wanda, owner of this store” Wanda responded with a smile. While Goku grinned at her, Vegeta was silently trying and failing to estimate her power, nothing he was doing was working.

“I’d stop trying that, Vegeta. No matter how hard you try you will not be capable of sensing my power” Wanda said, glancing at the man with an amused expression on her face.

“How-” “There’s a reason why Whis and Beerus are so respectful to me. Also, all forms of fighting are completely and utterly banned here, so don’t even try it, either of you” Wanda cut him off, giving them their one and only warning. The two paused when they saw the look in her eyes, and looked a little surprised when she flashed the smallest bit of her Ki.

She had more ki than any being in Dragon Ball, so they didn’t even remotely compare to her.

“…Alright” Vegeta said after a few moments, as even Goku couldn’t help but stare at her in silence before grinning.

“You’re really strong! You’ve gotta spar with us sometime” Goku said with an excited grin at the prospect. The woman in front of him was the strongest person he had ever seen, even stronger than Beerus and that’s saying a lot.

He wasn’t sure about Whis, but he assumed that she was on the same level or stronger.

“Hmm, perhaps in the future, but only if you buy some books from me. And before you ask, the martial arts books are there” Wanda said, pointing to the martial arts section that the two of them went to instantly afterwards, hoping to find something interesting.

While Goku was just going there because he wanted to see the pictures.

Watching them walk away to the section, Wanda smiled, one thought on her mind.

‘Maybe it’s time to visit Dragon Ball…’
