[3rd POV]

While her clone was traveling around the world of Harry Potter, Wanda was back in the bookstore, watching with an amused expression as Naruto was roped into talking with the old ladies that did the book club. The boy had only gone over to bring them their tea, but once they saw how adorable he was they couldn’t stop coddling him.

He didn’t look out of place or anything, as Wanda had made sure to use an illusion on him that covered his normal whisker marks and impossible hair. Making him look like a cute 12 year old boy. One that was getting a lot of attention from the grandmas who were all giggling while he was embarrassed.

“At least Naruto is talking to some girls” Milim said with a grin, while Wanda giggled at her daughter’s statement.

“I don’t think those are the girls he was hoping to talk to, hon” Wanda said, watching her son flush in embarrassment as one of the women pulled on his cheek with a coo, especially once she noticed his blush.

“He looks like a tomato” Milim laughed, giggling loudly as Naruto heard her words, glaring at his sister upon hearing what she had said. The teasing was making it hard for him to keep a straight face.

“Don’t tease your brother Milim. Even if he does look like a tomato” Wanda said, which caused Naruto to grin only to pout upon hearing the second sentence that came from his mother.

After another few minutes of the old women teasing Naruto, he was allowed to return to the counter, as Naruto gave his mom a small glare “Not a word” Naruto said with a grumble, as Wanda just giggled.

“I didn’t say a thing, Naruto” Wanda replied, as her son just grumbled and plopped down into the chair next to her with a huff.

After another twenty minutes or so, the book club had left, but not before each of them bought the next book that they had wanted to read, which was a book that Wanda had recently put into the shop, called “The Summer I turned Pretty”.

The book was pretty popular in her past life, and she had watched the show rather recently when she was bored, so it was a good addition to the fiction section, more specifically the romance.

A while longer had passed, as they more customers walked into the shop, mostly normal people who were mostly regulars who were back to buy some new books, or some of her delicious baked goods.

Eventually though, a guest that Wanda did know from another universe walked in. And this was…Athena.

“Ah, Athena! I was wondering when you’d return. I’ve got quite a lot of new books and scrolls for you to read, if you’re interested” Wanda said, as Athena blinked, before glancing at the new bookshelves full of hundreds of new books, most of them being from the Naruto world, but also quite a few being from the Game of Thrones world and Harry Potter world.

“That…is quite the new selection. And I will buy some from you, but I am also here to trade in some books of my own that I have gathered as of recent” Athena said, as she snapped her finger, hundreds of books appearing around her as Wanda looked at them all with a sparkle in her eyes.

She could tell that they were all completely new books, so she was more than willing to accept them.

“However, in return for these books I ask for something more than just the books I was already going to buy” Athena said, causing Wanda to pause as she looked up at Athena with a raised eyebrow.

“And what would that be?” Wanda asked, as Athena brought out what looked to be a set of clothes, clothes that Wanda recognized as Annabeth’s.

“I would like you to enchant these clothes with the most powerful enchantments you can place for the books I am trading you” Athena asked, as Wanda raised an eyebrow.

“That’s…quite the ask you know. I’ve never done a trade like that before, but I do have to admit that it is tempting” Wanda said with a hum, before an idea came to her mind, one that might just give her something even better.

“How about instead of the books, you give me something else?” Wanda asked, as Athena looked at her hesitantly.

“And what would that be?”

“Simple, a single drop of your blood will be enough” Wanda answered, as Athena paused. The blood of a God was immensely powerful, and could be used for all sorts of rituals and other purposes. And with a being as powerful as Wanda…it could be used for just about anything.

“…What will you use it for?”

“I plan on using your blood to figure out the makeup of divinity so I can mimic it. Becoming a proper God does sound quite interesting you know” Wanda responded with a smile, as Athena looked at her wide eyed.

The idea of literally mimicking divinity was…insane. And just casually talking about making yourself a God off of a single drop of blood was even more crazy. But this was also Wanda, and Athena was pretty certain that the woman in front of her could very easily accomplish this.

Whether or not that is a problem…she wasn’t sure.

“And you will not use my blood for any other purposes other than that?” Athena asked, knowing that she couldn’t really stop Wanda if she did, and the offer that Wanda was giving her was quite immense, as the enchantments that would be placed on the clothes would likely be well beyond anything she was imagining.

“Of course. I’ll use the blood for that alone and then get rid of it. You won’t need to worry about that. As that is all the blood is useful for anyways, at least, for me that is” Wanda said with a shake of her head at the thought.

She was powerful enough to do anything a ritual would accomplish with the blood, so it would be a waste of time keeping it for such a thing.

“…And will I be able to use this to grab some of your new books as well?” Athena asked, knowing that the blood was likely worth more than some enchantements. And the only reason she was even contemplating this idea was for the books.

Books that were not of her universe, and could be used to potentially boost her power immensely.

“Of course. With the blood I’ll enchant your daughter’s shirt as well as let you pick out lets say…25 books” Wanda said after a hum, while her daughter and son looked at Athena.

Milim could tell that the woman in front of her was quite strong. Not as strong as her, but stronger than most other people she had run into so far. Way stronger than anyone in Naruto’s universe at the least.

“…Deal” Athena said after thinking for a few moments, as Wanda smiled, her hand reaching out and swiping slightly, a glow coating the clothes as ancient runes covered it with immense power, before stopping.

“There you go! The clothes will be able to defend her against attacks of Gods, and would allow her to withstand the true form of higher beings as well. If you bring a more durable set of armor or something of the sort, then I can enchant them with even more power” Wanda informed, as Athena nodded before lifting her finger, a singular drop of golden blood dripping from her wound.

Wanda gathered the blood to the side with a smile, before adding another piece of info she thought Athena would like to know “Oh, and if you get the blood of a Primoridal, bring it to me and I’ll give you something far better than this, something similar in power to that little bolt that your father has”

Athena perked up at this, as the lightning bolt of her father was the most powerful divine weapon in the pantheon, and one of the most powerful in the entire world. Only Gungnir of the Norse, and a handful of others could hope to compare.

“…I will keep that in mind. I am not sure how I’d get my hands on such immensely powerful blood, but if I do, I’ll make sure to bring it to you” Athena responded, knowing that that was not an opportunity she could afford to miss, if she ever got it.

With that conversation finished, Athena gave her a nod before walking off to select her books. All the while both Naruto and Milim had only one thing to say as they watched her leave, and that was…

“She’s weird”

Just her talking with Athena and some store duties. Next chapter will be her going into the DC universe with Naruto, and messing with the team once again.
