Time had passed since creating the Katana for Naruto, and not a lot had happened. Besides Naruto getting his new katana, learning how to use it in the best way for him, which included a lot of training with Wanda and Milim, who spent the time helping train him, a few other things had went down.

For one, Danzo did end up sending the ROOT anbu for Wanda, and just as she wanted, they were wiped from existence the second they got close, with around 20 more ROOT anbu dying thanks to this incident. An incident that enraged Danzo, as he tried looking into her background more.

He was trying his best to find out who the hell she was, and why she was so powerful, but once again, he found absolutely nothing. Something that was becoming increasingly problematic with the amount of ROOT anbu that are dying thanks to her existence.

Wanda didn’t care much though, as she instead focused on helping Naruto.

During this time, Naruto had officially met Jiraiya for the first time. When the perverted man was spying on a bunch of women inside of a hot spring, lecherously giggling as he enjoyed the lewd sights that he got a good look at.

Only for Naruto to call out to the ladies and led them to him, in which he got a beating by the dozen women, all of which were in fact, shinobi who had been on break, ranging from genin to Jonin level shinobi. With one of them even being an off duty anbu.

Naruto didn’t much like Jiraiya, and opted to continue learning from Wanda instead of learning with Jiraiya like he would have in canon.

Afterall, Wanda knew everything that man could teach and more. The only downside of this was that he couldn’t get the toad summoning contract.

Good thing Wanda had already thought of this, and created an entirely new summoning contract for him, one that shockingly didn’t exist in this universe. This being a fox summoning contract.

She made them decently strong, with their leader being a kage level threat, and their older members being jonin level in power. With the average child being genin to chunin in range.

This would also allow for him to learn a new form of sage arts and sage mode, one that would likely work better for him and be stronger thanks to Wanda herself being the creator of them.

The leader of the foxes was named Yasaka, and had become a direct summon of Naruto alongside her daughter Kunou. And yes, Wanda based them around the DxD characters of the same name.

Naruto had also gotten his order back from the kind blacksmith, with all of the objects he ordered being finished and ready after a week of waiting. Each of them being expertly crafted, showing a lot of skill on the man’s part.

Naruto was happy with them, to say the least.

Wanda had also been looking into the best way to approach Anko to help her, but decided that it was best to wait until after the invasion happened, so Orochimaru wouldn’t be in the area. As while she could personally wipe him out easily, she knew the man could do some good if he was redeemed.

That was if he was redeemed and didn’t annoy the shit out of her.

Naruto’s growth during this time had been incredible thanks to the combination of two excellent teachers (Wanda and Milim) as well as abusing the fact that he could create hundreds of shadow clones at a time with ease. This allowed him to train dozens of times faster than anyone else, and allowed him to grow immensely fast.

And it was because of this that Wanda was confident that he would be more than capable of defeating all the competition in front of him, including Gaara, even when he’s enraged.

It was for this reason that Wanda was standing in front of her son, a proud smile on her face as they stood outside of the arena in which he would be fighting inside of. His fight would be happening within five minutes.

At her side was Milim, who was happily munching on a bunch of skewers, hungry…as usual.

“You’ve done well, Naruto. You’re more than ready to beat up that Hyuga boy” Wanda said with a proud smile as Naruto beamed, especially once she rubbed his head affectionately.

“Thanks Mama! I’ll make sure to beat that teme up for you and Hinata! Dattebayo!” Naruto exclaimed with an excited grin, causing Wanda to just giggle.

“I’m sure you will, hon. Not off you go, you wouldn’t want to be late to your fight, now would you?” Wanda said, as the boy glanced at the time, before cursing as he took off with immense speeds towards where his fight was held.

Beginning to walk after him, Wanda looked to Milim who was looking up at her with puppy eyes.

Wanda could only sigh as she conjured more skewers for her daughter, who happily munched on them, her cheeks puffed up cutely as she devoured the food without care.

‘…I need to teach her how to eat without making a mess’ Wanda thought watching this, a sigh escaping her lips as they made it to the stands.

They moved and sat in a lone area where no one else was, a spot that was towards the center seats, so it was a perfect spot to see her son fight it out with Neji. A fight that she suspected will be far far faster than in canon, and will likely lead to Neji getting the crap beaten out of him.

Naruto simply grew that much in the month of training.

Wanda leaned back in the seat and began to watch, as the announcer stood in the middle and spoke.

“Neji Hyuga vs Naruto Uzumaki!” He yelled, as Naruto stood across from Neji, his attire slightly different. It now held the Uzumaki clan logo squarely on his back, and at his waist was where his katana was held. On his wrist was a bracelet his mama had made for him, created of special flowers and her motherly love.

And at his other side was his storage scroll which held quite a few supplies for this battle. It held his smoke bombs, shurikens, kunai, and all sorts of other supplies that might be needed for this battle, and anything else in the future. The perfect mobile storage device for a shinobi, something that should be used by everyone, but wasn’t…for some reason.

“Your fate is determined Uzumaki, concede now and I shall not make it hurt more” Neji spoke coldly, as Naruto scowled.

“Only losers believe in fate! And I ain’t no loser!” Naruto yelled back, as Neji scowled in anger, as the announcer looked between the two with a sigh, already having a feeling this was going to be a long and potentially brutal fight.

“Alright, let the battle…commence!” The man yelled as he leapt back, as in the next second, Naruto launched forward, moving at blinding speeds as his fist slammed into the ground where Neji stood a moment ago, the ground shattering underneath his immense strength.

‘Damn, that was like Tsunade’s punch when she was younger!’ Hiruzen thought, sweating bullets.

Naruto had been taught how to do this by Wanda, as the technique itself was fairly simple, and thanks to the brutal chakra control training that he had been put under, he was able to do it successfully, but not to the same level of power as Tsunade could at the moment.

‘Dangerous, I can’t let myself get hit by a blow like that’ Neji thought, realizing that Naruto was stronger than he had thought.

And he wasn’t the only one, as the other rookies felt their jaws drop as they saw the power Naruto had shown off in that one blow. The sort of power that would knock most of them out with a single strike.

“What the hell, when did Naruto get so strong?!” Kiba exclaimed in shock, Akamaru barking in agreement.

Choji’s chip bag had fallen to the ground in front of him before he picked it up. Shinto’s eyes widened to a noticeable degree as you can just barely see them. Ino looked like she had been punched in the gut, and Sakura wasn’t much better. While Shikamaru…well, he had only one thing to say to the sight before him.

“Troublesome blonde”
