[3rd POV]

Looking down at the small form of Milim, Wanda was confused. She had never met Milim in her life before this point, and even she hadn’t seen this coming. Well, she would have if she used her power, but that made things boring…usually at least.

‘Why does she see me as her mother? Unless it’s Veldanava that I remind her of? I know I have his Origin Skill that made him so strong, but this seems to be a bit much’ Wanda thought in slight confusion, wondering what to do right now.

How was she supposed to react to the fact that the daughter of the Supreme God of this universe was calling her Mama, sobbing against her chest, and hugging her so tightly?

‘…Although I have to admit she is kind of adorable…’ Wanda thought, glancing down at the little thing.

She was considered little in Wanda’s eyes, as mentally Wanda was quite literally billions of years old, and physically she likely was as well. As she had no idea how long she was in the void, and she suspected she was a lot older than she looked.

Meaning Milim was indeed young to her.

“I’m sorry little one, but I’m not your Mama. Can I ask why you called me that?” Wanda softly said, cringing as she said these words, as she felt bad.

“Y-You feel like Papa did” Milim sniffled against her clothes, refusing to let go as Wanda blinked.

Furrowing her eyebrows, she began to look inwards into herself, as she began to inspect the Akashic Records skill closely, trying to figure out why Milim thought she was her father or something. And after gazing into the skill and looking at it’s origin, she let out a sigh.

‘…Guess she wasn’t entirely wrong’ Wanda thought, understanding that the skill itself was intricately connected to Veldanava himself, and thanks to her obtaining the skill, as well as her other traits that made up her very being, she was essentially his “successor”.

She hadn’t even realized it, but she did indeed get a decent power boost, one that was so weak in comparison to her own power, that she thought it was just the skills power. That power? It was a fragment of Veldanava himself, the portion reserved for someone worthy. Why she was chosen Wanda had no clue, but she wasn’t going to complain.

This also meant that she likely had a new species added into her being, which once again, she didn’t even realize she had within her. This being “True Dragon”.

Wanda was quite literally so powerful that she didn’t even notice she got a power boost of such a level (although it wasn’t too crazy as it was a small portion of Veldanava).

‘I guess being a True Dragon is neat…’ Wanda thought, not really sure how to feel about this new power, and the fact that it was sort of just forced onto her. Thankfully it didn’t bind her to anything, so she could live with it.

“…I’m sorry” Wanda said simply, not really sure what to say beyond this, as Milim’s sniffles began to slowly fade. She felt terrible for the little bundle of chaos, but she wasn’t really sure what to do.

As she looked down at Milim, she hummed ‘…I was meaning to get a new guest for my shop, and I was already contemplating taking little Naruto in, so…maybe I could take her in? As unlike Naruto, she isn’t someone touched by Fate so deeply like him, and she isn’t bound to this place by feelings or anything. So she could freely leave and come back whenever she wants’ Wanda thought, wondering if she should actually do this.

‘…I’m sure Death will just love to tease me over this though’ Wanda thought, eyebrow twitching as she knew that women would love to mess with her over the fact that she had taken in a new straggler.

“You alright now, Milim?” Wanda asked, her hand reaching out, softly rubbing the pink haired girls head, as Milim stilled slightly, before nuzzling into the warmth of the hand that felt so similar to her.

Rimuru was just watching all of this with a confused glint in his eyes, but he couldn’t help but let out a smile upon seeing it, as it was kind of adorable.

While the others looked at this in confusion, on why in the world the Demon Lord Milim was basically cuddling with a taller woman, and why she called the woman “Mama”. Some of them realized that this woman was the mysterious guest that Rimuru had warned them about, but they didn’t expect this of them.

“Mmhmm, sorry Mama” Milim muttered, as she seemingly decided that Wanda was her Mama even with the woman telling her otherwise.

Wanda wanted to tell Milim that she wasn’t her mother, but upon the girl stepping back slightly, revealing her slightly reddened eyes, tear stained face, and lip wobble, Wanda could only react in one way, and that was…

‘…So Cute!!’

Turns out even Wanda liked cute things, and Milim was adorable in her eyes.

Reaching her hand out, Wanda wiped the tears from the girls cheeks, as Milim looked a little surprised.

“How about you and I talk for a little while, hmm?” Wanda asked, as Milim’s eyes glittered in excitement at the prospect of talking more with this mystery woman that felt so much like her father.

“Okay!” Milim said, suddenly more chipper than before, while Rimuru saw the look in Wanda’s eyes and smiled.

“Alright, c’mon, let’s leave them to talk for a bit. I trust Wanda to not cause any more damage to the surroundings” Rimuru ordered, as he practically had to drag his subordinates with him.

At the same time, Wanda sat down upon a smooth rock, patting a spot on her right as Milim sat next to her.

“You understand that I am not your father, right Milim?” Wanda asked, as Milim looked a little saddened, but nodded.

“I know, you just…feel so much like him” Milim replied, as for once she wasn’t super loud or talking fast or being energetic. It was a little strange to Wanda, and she wasn’t sure she liked it.

“I may not be your father, but I do believe I have inherited a very special ability of his, called the Akashic Records. Thanks to my inheritance of these Records, I seem to have been gifted a portion of his power, and with that, came the addition of the True Dragon species into my being. What you sense from me…is likely because of that” Wanda explained, as Milim looked surprised.

She didn’t seem to know much about the Skill, but she did know about True Dragons…obviously. Her father was the first True Dragon, the creator of pretty much everything, and the reason on why she was so powerful.

“So…you are my Mama!” Milim exclaimed, as Wanda deadpanned, sighing as she decided that there’s no point even arguing over this. She knew Milim enough to know that the girl would not give up on her being her Mama, so…she was now.

‘…Feels like I just got adopted as her Mama’ Wanda thought with a sigh, as she noticed the sparkly eyed girl.

“Since you have the power of Papa, you must be super strong right?! Can we spar!?” Milim asked in excitement at the prospect, as Wanda giggled.

“No can do, Milim. I wouldn’t want to harm you” Wanda said with a smile, as Milim pouted.

“But I’m super strong too! I bet I could beat you up even if you have some of Papa’s power!” Milim exclaimed, causing Wanda to look at her in amusement.

“Mmhmm, you’re super strong Milim, but I’m far stronger. Here, let me show you just a little bit of what I can do” Wanda said, as above her hand a glow began to form, as within her hand appeared…a glowing orb?

“Huh? It’s just a ball of light, nothin strong about that”

“Look closer” Wanda said with a small smirk, as Milim tilted her head, before moving forward, as her eyes widened in surprise.

The orb of light was no orb of light, it was…a universe.

An entire universe, held in the palm of Wanda’s hand, having been created with a casual flex of her power, like it was nothing. Milim could tell that it was not a simple orb of light like she had said, she could sense the tiniest fraction of power, and it was that power that caused her to look at Wanda with even more excitement.

“Whoa! You really are stronger Mama! Even I can’t do that!” Milim said with shining eyes, poking the ball of light that was a universe.

“I’m glad you believe me now” Wanda said with a small smile, wondering how she just got herself a kid.

But strangely enough, as she gazed at the pink haired menace that was playing with the universe, Wanda couldn’t help but be happy. She knew this was likely because of who she was as a person, remembering the sons she had at one point, and it seemed that the desire to be a mother had carried over, even if she didn’t feel the attraction to men or anything like that.

And as Milim noticed her stare and looked up at her with a bright smile, Wanda smiled softly, as she had one thought on her mind.

‘…Maybe having a little one won’t be so bad…’

So I’ve got no idea if Milim actually knew that her father was Veldanava or not, and if she knew about his skills, but…I’ma just say she did in this world, alright?

Wanda has her first kid! She’ll probably be taking in two others and then that’ll be it. As said before, Wanda always wanted kids (thanks to her memories, and because she wanted them even in her past life), and now she’ll have them, although through adoption.

Wanda is also part True Dragon now, but it didn’t really do much in terms of power so it won’t really matter to Wanda.

She’ll be returning to the Bookstore in two chapters.
