[3rd POV]

“Ah, Naruto! It’s been a little while since I’ve last seen you, what have you been up to?” Wanda asked the child, as she flicked her wrist, ramen floating in from the back as the blonde haired child plopped down in a seat in front of her counter.

He always insisted upon eating at her counter, as he liked talking to her when he ate.

Hearing the question, Naruto grinned “I’ve been super busy Auntie! Thanks to all the books you gave me, I’ve got a lot stronger! I can even beat up Teme up now! Now we’re just preparing for this Chunnin-exam thingy” Naruto responded, before blinking as he noticed the pink haired girl sitting next to Wanda.

Milim was looking at Naruto with interest, as she could sense the unique power within him. The chakra, and more specifically, the Nine Tailed Fox within him. The nine tails was nothing in comparison to her, but she could tell that it was quite strong, and had a lot of potential, not to mention all of that killing intent.

“Whoa, you’re interesting! You got a cool Fox inside of you!” Milim exclaimed, as Naruto went wide eyed.

“Milim, what did I say about hounding customers and making them uncomfortable?” Wanda stepped in upon seeing the uncomfortable look on Naruto’s face, while Milim flinched underneath her sharp look.

Mama’s were terrifying.

“Sorry Mama, that power inside of him is just so neat!” Milim said as Naruto blinked at the word “Neat”.

“Just don’t do it again” Wanda said, before turning back to Naruto with an apologetic smile on her face.

“Sorry about that Naruto, she doesn’t mean anything by it. And this is Milim, my adopted daughter. She’s been helping out around the shop now, so you’ll be seeing her more often when you come by” Wanda explained, as the blonde boy looked at her, before…pouting?

‘…That is not the reaction I was expecting’ Wanda thought in slight surprise, before a small smile formed on her face, understanding why he was not very pleased with Milim’s existence.

He was jealous.

“Hmph, it’s okay” Naruto replied simply, his pout still on his face, but not as pronounced. He was trying to not let Wanda see how it was affecting him, that she had adopted Milim.

‘…Perhaps It’s time I visit Konoha’ Wanda thought, as an idea came to her mind, a small smile forming on her face.

“Hey Naruto, how about I come and watch this Chunnin exam of yours?” Wanda asked, as she didn’t mind staying in Konoha for a couple of months. It’d be a proper vacation for once, and she can warp time so it would seem like she was only gone from the shop for an hour or two.

Naruto, hearing the question, perked up in surprise.

“Wait really?! You’d come watch me kick ass!?” Naruto asked, shocked. He had never seen Wanda outside of her store, so he thought she was always busy or something. So it was a bit of a shock to hear that she was willing to come and watch him take part in the chunnin exams.

“Of course, why would I not want to watch my favorite ramen eater kick the butts of everyone else?” Wanda asked, smiling as Naruto cheered in excitement. She thought it was cute how the boy wanted to make her proud, while Milim was narrowing her eyes at the blonde.

“Awesome! I can’t wait to show you my moves! Oooh, and I’ll show you how I beat up Teme too!” Naruto exclaimed, excited to have Wanda watch him fight. He didn’t outwardly admit it, but he wanted to visit Wanda more, as she had become increasingly important to him over the past few visits.

She was just so kind, which was completely and utterly unlike any other villager in Konoha, as they tended to completely ignore him, or absolutely despised his guts. All because he had the Kyuubi held within his gut, which as powerful and dangerous as it was, it hadn’t done the harm it had, under its own will. Not only that, but Naruto didn’t do anything to anybody, so he deserved none of the hatred that he was on the receiving end of.

All in all, their hate towards him was idiotic at best.

“I can’t wait, and when are these chunnin exams being held, Naruto?” Wanda asked, wanting to know the general timeline. As if it was soon enough, she would just follow Naruto to the village right now, bringing Milim alongside her.

The girl would likely be interested in the place. And she was certain that chakra would be a massive boon to Milim’s power.

“Um…in a couple of days I think, why?” Naruto asked, not really remembering, embarrassingly enough.

“How about after you finish up your ramen, I close up shop and you can show me around the village? I don’t mind staying a couple of days early, afterall, I wouldn’t want to miss your fights” Wanda responded, as Naruto looked even more excited at hearing these words.

“Yes! That’d be awesome! I can show you all around the village! Like Ichiraku ramen, that one barbecue spot that’s pretty good, and the Hokage faces! Oooh, maybe you can even meet the old man!” Naruto rapidly fired in excitement, as Milim just pouted.

“And you’ll come along too, sweetie” Wanda said, noticing the pout, causing Milim to beam happily, while Naruto narrowed his eyes at her, which she returned in kind.

Seeing their stare off, Wanda sighed “And when we do go, I’ll make sure to give you both all the attention you could want, does that sound good?” Wanda asked, as the two gave each other another glare, before looking up at Wanda.

“That sounds awesome Mama!”

“This is gonna be awesome, dattabayo!”

Around thirty minutes later, after Naruto scarfed down his ramen and bought a few more books that caught his eye – and ones that Wanda recommended – Wanda had put up the closed sign, and placed a time warp inside, so that it would seem as if only a day had passed, when in actuality, it was going to be around a month or so.

She had also made sure to place a couple of protective enhancements around Milim so that nobody tried anything against her, just in case. She had done the same with Naruto, especially poisoning and mind reading type abilities.

She would give him permanent immunity to them, but not at the moment. As she doubted that Naruto would like that, and she’d rather not make the boy cross with her, as his pranks could be quite brutal when he wants them to be. And she’d not stop him either, as that would be boring.

So instead, she gave him a minor one that would not work within the exams themselves, as instead, she would speak to him after the exams about something she wanted to do. It was a rather serious talk though, so it would need to wait for when everything was over with.

Walking out of her shop with Milim next to her, Wanda smiled as she felt the warm breeze rub against her skin. They were outside of Konoha by a little bit, just like she wanted her shop to be.

Wanda wasn’t able to say anything before Naruto grabbed her hand and began to drag her with him, yelling as he did so.

“C’mon! There’s a lot I gotta show ya!” Naruto yelled, as Milim ran after them while yelling.

“Hey, wait for me!”

A little bit later, and a lot of running, including some adorable bickering that Wanda found to be both amusing and adorable, they had reached the front gate of the village. It’s large red coloring being quite eye catching, as she walked through the gate, none of the guards even saying a word, as she warped reality so that she already had a pass into the village.

She didn’t want to bother with the security check or whatever it was called, as that would be a waste of time, and would involve a lot of annoying questions she didn’t really want to answer to some nobody shinobi.

With all that in mind, she stared towards, as she saw the hokage mountain in the distance, while Naruto ran ahead and turned back to her, grinning as he spoke.

“Welcome to Konoha, Auntie!”
