[3rd POV]

“Man…this is taking a lot longer than I thought” Wanda muttered to herself, sitting in her store…genuinely bored for once. It had been the first time in a long time that she had been without a customer for this long. She had no idea why, as the shop was open in all universes at the moment.

Well, all universes that were connected to her shop.

Usually by now she would get at least one customer in every hour. But it would seem that something about today was different, maybe there was an event happening in each of these universes, or something else.

Either way, she was bored as all hell.

“Hmm…maybe this just means I need to change things up somehow” Wanda muttered to herself, as she contemplated what to do, before deciding that maybe it was time to add another universe into the mix. She was planning on waiting longer, but perhaps that would give her new interesting customers?

First though, she contemplated what one to go with.

She had a long list of universes that she wanted to connect to. But there was only a few at the top of her list.

There was Warhammer 40k. She wanted to connect to it because the warp was a truly interesting place to her, and it was one of her favorite fictional universes. The lore was insane, and ridiculous, but in a good way. Hell, she had an entire area in her game room dedicated to figures that she had hand painted, alongside a wall of the books that she had read all of.

That and she was really really curious to see how her power would interact with the warp, considering she was literally chaos personified. She wondered if she would get stronger, or if nothing would happen. Or would all four of the primary chaos Gods simply cease to exist and merge into her, since they were basically all of them and none of them.

She was also very interested in seeing how the Empire of Man would react to her. She imagined that the Imperium would want to rip her apart and murder her a thousand times over. They were not exactly the nicest people, even if they were absolutely badass.

Besides Warhammer, there was her second choice.

Pokemon.

It was far and away one of her most beloved universes of all time. She adored everything about it, and had a massive collection of the cards. All of them were actually legitimately gotten, and were not gotten through her power, only bought by going out and opening packs.

She loved loved loved the universe. And her children loved it too. They both had openly asked about getting pokemon, with Naruto really wanting a ninetales, and Milim wanted a Garchomp.

Raven had brought up the idea of a Gardevoir after she had seen the pokemon for the first time. While Wanda herself had always wanted a Diancie. She had no idea why, but it was her favorite pokemon, with a close second being Swampert, and then Greninja.

The idea of meeting Ash on his pokemon journey sounded very fun, and she could even offer pokemon goods to those in that universe specifically. So pokeballs, Tms and stuff like that. But at the same time, that would limit it a lot.

The third idea that she had was Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

It was one of the very few universes that Wanda had never actually watched anything on. She knew very very little about the universe, besides the names of a few of the characters, and that was it absolutely beloved by a lot of people.

Raven included.

The woman had watched it once, without her. And from her words, it was one of the best shows of it’s type…of all time. Which was quite the claim.

So now it was on her backlog of shows to watch, alongside Supernatural, which was another giant show that she needed to watch fully. Another universe that she thought her shop would work very very well in.

But it was the fourth, and final idea that she had, that she had decided on. As it would give her effectively infinite potential for customers, would almost always get new and interesting people to come inside, and had a well of knowledge that she would love to get her hands on.

And so, the words above the door of her shop glimmered once more, and changed into the name…

[In another universe]

“Captains Log: Stardate 41253.2. We are currently upon the bridge, where a mysterious doorway has appeared. Upon further analysis, we have found that the door, for all intents and purposes, does not exist. And yet, it is right in front of us. A truly peculiar sight, one that brings up many questions in my mind, and the minds of those that have seen it. And with that question, comes another “Is this the doing of the Q?””

The man known as Captain Picard finished his captain’s log a moment later. Captain Picard was a bald man, who was the captain of the USS Enterprise, a legendary ship, hosting an equally legendary crew.

“Captain, we have finished all forms of analysis, and we still have not found a proper explanation for what this mysterious door truly is. It truly is nonexistent according to all our readings, and yet…it is right in front of us” The android member of the crew spoke. This android was the man known as Data, the first and only true android to join Starfleet.

The Starfleet was the “Faction” or “Group” that was in charge of the many many ships that were in it. Ships similar to the USS Enterprise, but ranged in size, makeup, power, and use. Some were for scientific reasons, some for explorations, and some for a multitude of others.

“Sir, do you think we should…open the door?” The voice of the head of security (Or the chief security officer) echoed, this was lieutenant Natasha “Tasha” Yar. She was a blonde woman that was very skilled in combat, hence her being the head of security at this moment.

“…That might be the best option at the moment, but is it the safest one?” The first officer of the USS Enterprise, William T. Riker said. The man was a tall and intelligent person, and knew well that this was a dangerous situation.

“What do you say, Counselor Troi?” Picard asked one of his most trusted friends, Deanna Troi. She was a half betazoid half human member of Starfleet. And since she was a Betazoid – a species that had telepathic and empathic power – she could sense things others could not, making her excellent in regards to working with others, and diplomacy.

“Sir, I really don’t thin-” “I think it’s the best option, sir” Deanna said, cutting off another member of the crew, the man known as “Worf” who belonged to the Klingon species. They were a very proud warrior species that had a lot of rules and traditions that made them…interesting to work with.

“I’d have to agree sir. There are no signs that it is dangerous, so it should be just fine. But we should still err on the side of caution just in case” Another member of his trusted crew echoed, agreeing with Deanna. This was Geordi La Forge, the blind member of the crew that had a very impressive and advanced visor. This visor allowed him to see on the electromagnetic spectrum, and a host of other things that nobody else (that was human) could see.

Hearing all of their responses, Picard hummed and looked to his first officer, as the man nodded slowly in agreement.

“Well then…let’s prepare to enter”

Their preparations had taken only a few minutes, as they decided that Data, Picard, Riker, Tasha (After insistence), La Forge, Worf, and Deanna would all be going. They should be safe enough to do so, and this was a situation that needed them all to be present. A rare situation.

With that decided, Riker looked around before breathing in, and opening the door. Only to blink as he gazed inside, as he stepped in a moment later, the others joining him.

And what they found was…

A bookstore?

“Welcome! I’ve been waiting for you” A voice echoed, as they all turned to see a tall beautiful woman standing there. And this woman was of course, Wanda.

And as they saw her, they couldn’t help but glance at one another, one thought on all of their minds. And that thought was…

‘…What did we just get ourselves into?’

That’s the end of the chapter!

Yep, the new universe is Star Trek. It was the one at the top of my list, since I thought that it REALLY fit with the nature of the shop, and the other customers. You can expect a LOT of amusing interactions between them and the Doctor, who might even do some crossover adventures with them.
