[3rd POV]

The Mikaelsons returned soon after leaving, in tow they had brought around 25 books. Each of them were carrying a handful of books due to the sheer amount of them.

Looking over the books as they were placed onto the counter, Wanda raised an eyebrow, a little impressed with the selection. The books themselves weren’t super incredible or anything – at least in the grand scheme of things – but they did have knowledge within that could be helpful to certain other worlds.

She imagined that the Percy Jackson people would like it, as well as Harry Potters universe. And once she connected to the next universe she planned on going to, she imagined they would be interested as well.

The next universe being the show called “The Magicians” as she was interested in their form of magic which was done through movements of the hands, almost like jutsu from Naruto. They also had Gods, time travel, multiverse stuff, and all sorts of neat little things that went down.

It was all very interesting to her.

“Quite the selection you have brought me. Some of these seem to be quite advanced in nature, not only that, but they seem rare” Wanda commented, as she looked flipped through the books with a hum.

“They’re some of the rarest books in our collection. We thought it would be prudent to properly pay you back for this, not only that, but you have stated that we can pay ahead, so we are hoping this would be enough to cover some future purchases we may make here” Elijah explained, as Wanda looked at him with a small glint of interest.

“Hmm, it should cover a decent amount of future books, mattering entirely on the books you decide to select” Wanda responded, as she gathered all the books and sent them off to the back to be copied and then placed back on the shelves.

At the same time, she snapped her finger as the ingredients for the ritual began to form on the counter, alongside the book on rituals, which included the one she had spoken to them about.

“This is the book for the ritual. There are a number of other rituals inside, but the one you are looking for is on page 489” Wanda said, as they all looked a little surprised with the open display of magic to summon objects.

“Thank you, Miss Maximoff. This truly means a lot to our family” Elijah said with a bow, grateful for the book and ingredients. As this would give them the means to protect the baby of Hayley and Klaus.

“Not a problem, Elijah. Now, is that all, or is there anything else you want?” Wanda asked, looking over them. She saw that none of them really wanted to be there any longer, and from what she could tell, Rebekah wanted to be anywhere but there.

“N-” “Can we get a few of your muffins?” Hayley cut in. She ignored the looks of the others in embarrassment, as she was rather hungry at the moment both her and the little one in her stomach.

“What flavor do you want?”

“Hmm, blueberry please” Hayley responded after a few moments of contemplation. Hearing the flavor she wants, Wanda made a motion with her hand as a small case of muffins floated in, 6 muffins neatly placed within a box specially made for them.

“Anything else?” Wanda asked, as Hayley shook her head, inwardly salivating at the delicious scent of the tasty looking muffins. And it wasn’t just her that was staring at them, but the Mikaelsons were staring too, also finding the scent to be incredible.

“Excellent! I hope you all have a great day, and can use that ritual well” Wanda said with a smile on her face, as Hayley gave her a nod, walking off with the rest of the Mikaelsons, leaving Wanda alone.

‘Curious. I wonder how they’re going to use that ritual without a witch?’ Wanda thought in interest.

‘It’d take quite a lot of power to do what they want to with that ritual. So I can only assume that they’ll be getting the help of Davina, who was a powerful witch that should have enough power to accomplish what they want.

If not her, then perhaps they could get into contact with Bonnie, who had even more power than Davina did, so she’d also be more than enough.

‘Either way, I do hope that they accomplish it properly’ Wanda thought with a smile, as she waited for the door to open once more.

Later in the day, Raven had returned from her day out. She had actually gone out to a the Harry Potter world alone in order to gather a few ingredients she wanted for some potions she planned on making. Wanda had offered to just give her the ingredients, but Raven was pretty insistent that she cannot keep taking advantage of Wanda’s kindness.

So instead she went to the world alone and gathered them herself. Something that Wanda was a little surprised about, but didn’t stop her after seeing how certain she was about that decision.

She came back with a bag of a wide variety of herbs and plants, most of which weren’t in her dimension (which she changed the second she saw them), as well as a number of books that she didn’t have.

When she asked Raven how she got those books, the woman only glanced at her awkwardly and said “I happened to come across them in a trash can”

Wanda knew she was obviously lying (and also found out that she was awful at lying), and assumed she stole them from dark families or something of the sort. So she didn’t bother asking her more, as Raven went up to put her new books away, but not before letting Wanda copy them.

At the moment she was boredly sitting behind the counter, propping her head up with her hand. It was a slow day today, with only the Mikaelsons coming in so far. So boring in fact, that her children decided to go upstairs and train instead of sit with her.

She couldn’t really blame them, as it was really quiet today.

But finally, after hours of nobody coming in, the door began to open, causing her to look up in interest, only to blink in surprise when she saw who it was.

It was…Lex Luthor?

“Hoh? This place is bigger than I was expecting” The man said looking around, a little impressed. At his side was his trusted right hand woman, Mercy.

‘Another guest I wasn’t expecting’ Wanda thought with an interested smile on her face, not at all afraid of the man in front of her.

“What is Lex Luthor doing in my little shop?” Wanda asked, looking at the man who smiled, fake smile obviously, but a smile.

“I’ve heard you have quite the selection of books. Some of which can be said to be…otherworldly” Lex said, laying it on thick that he knew she had books that no human should have.

“I suppose you could say that. Why, are you interested?” Wanda asked as she gazed at the man, who was at the science section to the left of Wanda’s perspective. He was looking over the titles of the books, finding quite a few that were catching his eye.

“Very. How much would it cost me to buy a copy of every book in this shop?” Lex asked, which made Wanda hum.

“Quite a bit. But considering how wealthy you are, I am sure you can afford it with no difficulty” Wanda responded with a shrug, as the man let out a chuckle.

“Yes I suppose I can. Alright, I’d like to order a single copy of every book you have in this shop” Lex said, as Wanda hummed and tallied up the total for all of the books.

“Hmm, that’ll be 83,592 dollars” Wanda responded after a few moments of thought, not the total, adding it all up with little difficulty. The man blinked at the total before motioning to Mercy, who walked over and brought out a card, paying for the books a second later.

“My people will come by later to pick up the books” Lex said with a smile as he placed the book he was looking over back onto the counter, before beginning to walk back to the door, as he did, he glanced back at Wanda who was just smiling in amusement at his “uncaring” attitude.

“I’ll be watching you, Wanda Maximoff” Lex said before leaving the shop, causing Wanda to giggle at his words.

Seeing him leave, Wanda had only one thought on her mind, and that was…
