[3rd POV]

While Ruby was off reading the new book that Wanda had given her, putting all of her focus and energy into learning more about her eyes, and the legends about them (as well as how to train and utilize them properly), Wanda was back in her store.

She was currently putting away a few of her new books she had gotten from the Harry Potter universe, as well as a handful that she had created over the past few days, mostly fictional books and nothing too crazy.

Putting away the books, Wanda stretched, a nice cup of coffee in her hands, as it was actually morning at this point, with it being the next day since Ruby had left to learn more about her eyes.

Sipping on her coffee, she returned to the counter, looking over the menu and making a few changes, as she likes to regularly swap things out and add new menu items. This time she added a Frappuccino option, as she had recently gotten really good at making different forms of coffee.

She wanted to eventually add more options, but for now she limited it to that. That, and they were more expensive than normal coffees and teas due to the making of them.

Hearing the sound of the door opening next to her, Wanda glanced over and found Raven standing there.

“Hey Raven, where’ve you been?” Wanda asked, not knowing the answer. She didn’t use her power to spy on any of her workers, so she didn’t know what they were doing. The only thing she’d know is if they were doing something evil or something.

“I was in the meditation dimension. My control over my magic has reached a new level as of recent, so I have been learning to do more with it” Raven answered.

The meditation dimension was a dimension that…was made to be used for meditation, as it sounds. It was a small dimension around the size of a decent sized house, with rooms specially made for different forms of meditation.

Not only that, but it had all sorts of incense and herbs that were made for meditation in mind. That, and a lot of teas and calming scents perfect for Raven to get into the groove so she can practice control over her magic.

“Oh? And how good has your control gotten?” Wanda asked, curious. She wasn’t looking into Raven’s magic at the moment, so she couldn’t tell. But she could tell that the woman in front of her seemed more…calm than usual.

“Far better than ever before. Thanks to the meditation dimension I have been able to utilize my magic to manipulate and control the elements with ease. I’m also learning new spells, and have recently mastered the art of teleportation. My range has increased thanks to my control, and I believe I can cross continents with my teleportation now” Raven responded, a slight tinge of a proud tone escaping her.

Wanda smiled at her excitement, as while she didn’t show it completely, Wanda was good at seeing when her student was excited.

And Raven was excited.

“That’s fantastic Raven! How about we go out and celebrate?” Wanda asked, causing Raven to look at her in surprise.

“Go out and…celebrate?” Raven asked.

“Mmhmm, we can go get lunch or something, just the two of us. There’s this nice bakery I’ve wanted to try in the world that Ruby and her friends come from” Wanda explained. Raven looked at her in surprise, before biting her lip slightly and nodding.

Wanda smiled at her accepting the offer, and even more so than that, she smirked when she noticed the slight pink on her pale cheeks.

‘Huh, the cutie must think this is a date’ Wanda thought in amusement, deciding that she won’t be explaining if it was.

Afterall, Raven was very very attractive, and she wasn’t opposed to it being dubbed as a date by the woman.

“Great! Do you want to get changed or anything?” Wanda asked, as Raven looked down at her clothes before shaking her head. She was already in casual clothing, so she had no reason to change into anything too fancy.

With that in mind, Wanda smiled.

“Excellent, let’s get going then!” Wanda said, as she got to her feet. The dark haired woman smiling slightly in response as she followed after Wanda.

Entering the world of RWBY had been a bit different, as Raven had never traveled to another universe before. And due to the nature of the universe, and its severe lack of magic, the woman had to sit still for a few moments in order to get used to the change.

Wanda felt a little bad, so she helped her out a little bit. As it could be a little jarring entering a universe without any sort of magic.

While she herself was adapting to the way her divinities were automatically connecting to this universe, adapting and growing in response to the new universe and the nature of it.

But after she helped Raven adapt, the two were walking through Vale towards the bakery that Wanda wanted to try. They had some native desserts that you couldn’t find anywhere else, which used some native plants that were sort of like a strawberry combined with a lemon.

A very interesting flavor, she found.

Sitting across from Raven, Wanda watched as the woman bit into her pastry. She had gotten a pastry similar to a croissant that had a berry jam inside of it. A delicious looking treat that Raven seemed to like quite a bit as she bit into it.

“This world is interesting” Raven commented, as she bit into her food, noticing Faunus walking by and the overall atmosphere.

“It is, isn’t it? With their complete lack of magic and a lot of technologies. Not to mention their complete reliance on dust and aura. And those beasts, the Grimm, are quite the interesting little things” Wanda responded.

“What are the Grimm? When you showed me that single one that looked similar to a wolf, it felt…wrong, corrupted. Not only that, but it was seemingly trying to detect my emotions” Raven asked, wondering what exactly the grimm were.

“That…is a good question, Raven. As for what they are…it’s a bit complicated. The people of this world are severely ignorant in what those things truly are. As they are not simple beasts created from darkness. No, they are the souls of deceased humans that continue to be reincarnated into Grimm for all of eternity” Wanda said, as Raven looked at her with wide eyes.

“That must be horrible. Such…such an existence…it must be hell” Raven responded, the fact that the Grimm were actually human souls reborn into beasts, and no matter how many times they die they’ll just continue to be reborn as a Grimm, sounded terrifying.

“It likely is. But thankfully I do not believe they possess enough sentience to remember their lives, so they won’t be suffering too much” Wanda said, pretty certain of this.

“Why did you help that girl?” Raven asked after a few more moments of silence after hearing Wanda’s explanation on the Grimm.

“Because I think it’d be interesting to see her growth. Her eyes – the silver eyes – are created by a God of this realm, not a proper God in comparison to the ones we have, but a powerful entity either way. And because of that, she has a lot of potential for power, and could even obtain her own form of limited divinity if she trains with them enough” Wanda responded before continuing.

“That, and I know the future this world is heading towards, and it is not a bright one. And I’d hate to lose such an interesting world to destruction and apocalypse. The knowledge and growth of these people are truly interesting. Interesting enough for me to interfere and help them” Wanda continued, a hum escaping her as she sipped on the tea that she had gotten.

It was pretty decent. Not the best, far from it, but decent enough for her to finish it.

“…I see. You are a neutral entity, so I suppose it is not surprising”

“I’d say I’m more chaotic neutral. I support and help those that I want, and could care less about if your a villain or not. As long as you don’t annoy me I’ll leave you alone…unless I am bored, then no one is safe” Wanda replied with a hum.

“…And what of my father? If I asked for your help defeating him, would you aid me?” Raven asked.

“Hmm? Of course. I care about you too much to let that little demon harm you” Wanda responded as if it was obvious. And to her it was, but obviously Raven didn’t think so, as she looked surprised upon hearing the response, a slight tinge of pink forming on her cheeks at how easily Wanda answered the question.

With her response set, Wanda finished the last bit of her tea, before smiling and asking a rather important question, and that was…

“How about we look around a bit more?”
