[3rd POV]

Watching Milim play with the ball for a bit longer, Wanda eventually let it dissipate, as Milim pouted at not being able to play with the universe anymore.

“Sorry Milim, but don’t you think it’s time to go and see Rimuru? And I think he has a rather tasty treat that you can try” Wanda said, patting her new daughters head, as Milim’s eyes sparkled at the mention of a tasty treat.

She loved food, especially sweets, so it wasn’t a surprise that she began to drag Wanda alongside her as they made their way back to the village where Rimuru was.

“Relax Milim, the village isn’t that far. And we wouldn’t want to destroy more of Rimuru’s land, would we? Afterall, if we accidentally destroyed anything important, he might not give you the tasty treat I mentioned. And we wouldn’t want to miss out on that treat, would we?” Wanda asked, as the speedy half dragon girl stopped, her eyes widening as she nodded.

“Okay okay! I’ll slow down Mama” Milim said, as she began to walk a lot slower, carefully controlling herself as she concentrated on not going to fast. Wanda watched her facial expressions in amusement, finding it to be quite adorable.

“Good girl, now, let’s go find Rimuru” Wanda said, reaching her hand out to the girl who clasped it in her much smaller one, as they walked hand in hand, almost like a parent who was walking with their kid. It was…adorable, and Wanda inwardly made sure to always remember this.

It didn’t take long before they had found Rimuru, who had been talking to one of his subordinates in the main village. The subordinate in question looked to be Benimaru, whose eyes widened slightly upon noticing Wanda and Milim approaching from behind Rimuru.

“No need to get all tense with us, Benimaru, we won’t be harming anyone” Wanda said with an amused smile on her face, as Milim walked forward, her eyes sparkly as she stopped in front of Rimuru.

“Can I have that sweat treat!?” Milim asked, as Rimuru looked a little confused, before a look of realization formed on his face. A chuckle escaped his lips as he brought out a bottle.

“Here, I’m sure you’ll like it” Rimuru said as he handed her a bottle of honey, with Milim preparing to take a lick of the inside of it, only to stop as Wanda gave her an expectant look.

“Mmhm, thanks Rimuru!” Milim said with a bright grin, as she licked her finger after dipping it into the bottle, a happy squeal echoing from her.

“Soooo goood! Mama you were right, this is delicious!” Milim said with a grin, as the others in the area looked at the two with blank expressions, especially upon hearing Milim call Wanda Mama.

“Told you you would like it” Wanda said with a small smile, watching as Milim happily ate the honey, as it was delicious. Even Wanda was a bit interested in gathering some of it, as she could tell that it was of high quality, and smelt quite good.

Rimuru watched Milim eat the honey with a bit of interest, before turning to Wanda and asking the question that had been on his mind since he heard what Milim had called her.

“Can I ask why Milim is calling you “Mama”? As far as I know, you aren’t related, are you?” Rimuru asked, causing Wanda to chuckle while Milim frowned.

“She’s my Mama because I said she is!” Milim said with a growl, not liking what Rimuru was trying to say, while Wanda sighed.

“I inherited the skill of her father, which gave me a bit of his power. It also means that I am technically related to her in a way. And I can’t say I mind being her Mama, as I’ve always wanted a child” Wanda responded to the confused man. Milim brightly smiled at her words, happy to hear that Wanda wanted to have a child, and she was now that child.

“Told you she’s my Mama” Milim said, sticking out her tongue at Rimuru who could only wryly smile, not really sure what to say to the response he had been given. He decided to not press the matter or anything, and instead focused on the fact that Milim was still in town.

“So…what now? Do you want a tour, Milim? Or are you going to go with Wanda-San?” Rimuru questioned, as he wasn’t sure how he felt about having a Demon Lord in town. Demon Lords were notorious for being…dangerous, and Milim was considered one of the most dangerous of them all.

“Hmm, can we get a tour, Mama? I want to see Rimuru’s village!” Milim asked as she looked at Wanda. Wanda just giggled in response and nodded.

“Sure, go ahead and take a tour. I’ve got a couple of things I need to do myself” Wanda said, as she grinned happily, before following after Rimuru, well…more like dragging him alongside her, but still.

Wanda just watched with a smile on her face, as she walked off, deciding it was time to gather the other Ultimate Skills for herself.

With that, she teleported off in order to do so, deciding to do it in a safe location so that nobody would see her or intrude upon her skill acquisition.

Was it overkill? Absolutely, did she care? No. Power was power, and even if she was already Nigh-Omnipotent, it didn’t matter to her. It would make her safer in the end, plus it would just make her life a lot easier and more convenient.

With her new skills assimilated within her being, and the new power that came with it, she decided to head back to the village to pick up her new daughter. As she had been away from the shop for a while now, and it was time to get back home.

That and she wanted to show Milim her home, a home that Milim herself could stay in if she wished, which Wanda imagined that she would, with the way she reacted to her earlier. Wanda would make an extra room for her daughter to stay in, and even another dimension for her to have fun in. She planned on making a dimension made of candies and other sweets for her, so she’d be able to enjoy all sorts of delicious treats whenever she wants.

Within limits of course.

Walking within the village, Wanda soon found her daughter, who was leaving the bathhouse after taking a nice and long bath.

“Mama, you’re back!” Milim said with a bright grin, blurring forward as Wanda caught her in her arms, a chuckle escaping her lips.

“Mmhmm, just had some things to do. But now that I’m back, I think it’s time we go home, no?” Wanda asked, as Milim blinked in confusion.

“Home?”

“Yep, I’ve got a home for us, it’s above my bookstore, where I sell books and all sorts of treats to people. And I thought that you might like to come and live with me, and go on all sorts of fun adventures with me, and meet all sorts of interesting and new people” Wanda explained, as Milim’s eyes sparkled.

“Of course I wanna live with you Mama! I’m never gonna leave your side!” Milim said with a bright grin, as she stayed in Wanda’s arms, now being held up like a child, nuzzling into her Mama’s neck.

Wanda just looked down at her new adopted daughter, and smiled, before looking over to Rimuru.

“We’ll be off now, Rimuru. Next time you come in I’ll be giving you a gift for helping out. See you later!” Wanda said, waving as she walked off, leaving Rimuru to watch them leave, wondering how Milim would even be willing to work in a bookstore.

Walking off towards the bookstore as she held her daughter in her arms, Wanda smiled, as she had one thought on her mind.

‘Time to return home’

She has officially adopted Milim as her own, and has also gotten a ton of powerful skills for herself. They’re not really the most useful or anything, but power is power, so why should she say no to getting more of it?
