[3rd POV]

Sitting in the living room of her apartment, Wanda looked at the three people in front of her. This was her children, and her girlfriend. The three of them were sitting across her on the couch, staring at her silently. They all looked a little nervous, well, at least her kids did.

Raven just looked curious, wondering what exactly Wanda was about to reveal about her past. As the more she learned about Wanda, the closer they got to one another. So this was the best chance to get truly close.

“So who was that man, Mama?” Milim asked, as they finally got comfortable.

“That…was a man named Pietro Maximoff” Wanda responded, as her children both looked at her with wide eyes.

“Whoa, is he related to you?” Naruto asked, having never heard about his mom having a sibling. She was pretty quiet about her past, and rarely ever brought any of it up.

“You could say that in a way. He is from another universe inside of the multiverse that I came from. He is a version of the Pietro Maximoff I knew, my brother” Wanda explained, as the children both listened intently, barely covering their shock at the fact that she actually had a brother at one point.

“You had a brother?” Milim asked with barely covered shock.

“Mmhmm, I did. I had a brother, a father, and even a half sister too” Wanda responded with a small smile, remembering Magneto and Polaris, her half sister.

She was based around the version of Wanda that was actually related to Magneto, before all the High Evolutionary bullshit that the comic authors changed for some stupid reason.

“Whoa! What were their names?” Naruto asked with an interested gleam in his eyes, wishing to learn more about his mama’s family.

“My fathers name was Max, while my half sister’s name was Lorna. My relationship with them was not as close as my brother and I, because I didn’t know them until later in my life. But they were known in our world as villains, and sometimes heroes” Wanda responded, as they all listened intently.

“My father was known as Magneto, my half sister was Polaris, and my brother was Quicksilver. While I was known as the Scarlet Witch”

“But my name was not born of a heroism or from the public, but something far far different” Wanda trailed off, remembering the past of both her life as that Wanda and her other lives.

It was a strange thing to think about, but she had gotten used to it.

“The name had been given to me through a mixture of fate and destiny. As I was born with the power of Chaos magic, the ability to rewrite the world itself with my power. The full truth is…quite a bit more complicated than that, but this power…sometimes proved to be too much” Wanda explained, as they all glanced at one another.

“I became a hero when I was…quite a bit younger. When I was naive and didn’t understand the power that I wield. And over the years, I made a lot of mistakes, and did a lot of stupid things. But there was one thing that I did that was more horrid, more vile than anything else” Wanda said, as Raven looked at her with warm eyes.

“In that life, which was…long ago, I had been married” Wanda said, dropping one of the bombs as they all looked at her in surprise, with even Raven stilling.

“The entire marriage and relationship I had was…complicated, for the one I married was more of an…android than human. Genderless, but appearing as a male. This was before I understood that I simply don’t find men attractive, before I realized a lot of things I have now” Wanda explained, glancing and finding that Raven was softly looking at her, her hand softly moving to grip Wanda’s.

“Sexuality can change, Wanda. It’s okay” Raven said simply, as Wanda smiled slightly.

“…Anyways, with the help of magic and some other…things, I ended up with two children. My twin sons, William and Tommy” Wanda explained, as they listened silently.

“But…I lost them, to the machinations of several entities, and when that happened, when I lost them…it shattered me. My very psyche had begun to unravel from the loss of them, and due to that, I had killed…a lot of people, innocent people”

“And once my psyche had reached it’s worse state…I rewrote reality on a universal scale, making an entire new life for myself, a false life. One where my family all but ruled the world, where mutants – a species similar to metahumans, and one that I was born to – were treated fairly, equally, and even better than normal humans at times” Wanda said, as they all listened, not wanting to inter up or say a word as she spoke of her past.

“But even that didn’t last. And once it began to unravel, once things began to go bad…I made the worst mistake of my entire life, and I spoke three words, three words that ended the lives of…an incalculable amount of people”

“No More Mutants” Wanda whispered, memories flashing as Raven gripped her hand tighter, her children also leaning closer upon seeing her sadness.

“With those words, I had wiped out almost an entire species in not only the primary universe in which I was from…but all universes in the multiverse. I had ended the lives of a billion billion beings. All in my own heartbreak from the loss of my children” Wanda said.

“And the worst part about it was the fact that my children were not truly dead. That William and Tommy had been reborn anew, as Billy and Thomas. That my actions, my words…had doomed so many lives for…nothing” Wanda said, chuckling at her own idiocy.

Now that she had the memories of her other lives, she really understood just how stupid her actions were. Just how pointless it was. And just how monstrous it truly was.

And while it may not have been “Her” she still had the memories, she still remembered what happened, and she still felt the emotions of anguish behind the event. She was a perfect merger of all the “Characters” she had been given, and was them in all forms that mattered.

“I was deemed a threat after that, as a monster. And it was completely and utterly valid. I was a monster, and I was a threat. One wrong move from me, one wrong flex of my power, and I could end an entire universe, even back then when I was far weaker than I am now” Wanda continued, as they all looked at her with sad eyes.

“A lot more happened during the years, a lot more loss and heartbreak and death. But…that is the gist of my story, of why I have to go to that universe, why I have to speak to my counterpart. Because if I don’t…I fear for what she will do” Wanda finished finally, as she looked up at them with a serious glint in her eyes.

“And I understand if you hate me, if you think I am disgusting. And I won’t bl-” “Respectfully, Wanda, shut up” Raven said, cutting her off as she moved forward.

Before Wanda could even react, Raven surged forwards and locked lips with her, her children both looking at the two kissing with wide eyes, before Milim exclaimed “I knew it!”

Feeling her girlfriend’s lips on her own, Wanda looked at Raven with wide eyes as she pulled back.

“You are not a monster, Wanda. You made a mistake, a terrible mistake that you obviously feel bad about. And even if you are a monster, I don’t care” Raven said seriously, staring into her eyes.

“W-Why?” Wanda asked, stuttering over herself for the first time in a long time.

Raven could only warmly smile in response, and place a hand on Wanda’s cheek.

“Because I love you, Wanda Maximoff”

Hearing the words, Wanda’s lip began to wobble, as she bit it, tears slowly began to well up in her eyes as Raven glanced back at Naruto and Milim who saw their mama’s expression and both surged forwards with her, wrapping Wanda in a deep hug.

“We love you too, Mama!” They both exclaimed, as Wanda could no longer hold it back, as she began to softly weep, a mixture of happiness and sadness escaping her as Raven wrapped her arms around Wanda’s front, sadly smiling as she felt Wanda begin to cry against her chest.

As she saw her girlfriend cry for the first time, showing emotions that had been bottled up for…ever.

And as she looked down at Wanda, Raven could only press a kiss against her head, and softly whispered into her ear.

“I’ll never leave you…my love”
