[3rd POV]

It was a few days after Peter had left her shop and Wanda had talked with Ivy and Raven about her counterpart and her hope for the woman coming to her shop before she made a horrible mistake.

Nobody else from the Marvel multiverse had come around since then. Wanda hadn’t been entirely shocked by this, as she was sure that Doctor Strange and Captain America were likely still pushing it off. As it wasn’t exactly easy to reveal the fact that a nigh-omnipotent being that looked like another woman you already know, had opened a bookstore in the middle of Manhattan that nobody can see or enter besides heroes and villains.

It would sound a bit crazy until they brought them there in person. Which would need to happen at a different time, with how busy they tend to be…all the time. It was rarer for them to not be busy than the opposite.

During these few days, Wanda had kept an eye on the Young Justice team. She had wanted to make sure that Batman had actually gotten them the help that they truly needed. And from what she could tell, the man had thankfully gotten them the help they needed.

In the form of a proper, genuine therapist. One that would not be revealing any secrets or anything, a good man that would be helpful for not only the Young Justice, but the main Justice league too. And Wanda had made certain that he was a good man.

And after looking into him, he genuinely was. A rare case, but something she was happy about. To see that the kids would get the help they need with some of the things that will begin to happen over the coming months, especially with the Light starting their thing.

She wouldn’t involve herself in it, as the most she would ever do is help out the kids so they can deal with any depression or PTSD they might develop from what they come to see in the coming months.

She didn’t like seeing kids in pain. And there was a reason why kids getting harmed was an absolute no no for her.

Which is why she hates the Joker so much, for his tendency to hurt and kill children. Like what he had done to Jason, aka the future Red Hood. That event had not occurred yet in this universe, but she knew it likely would.

At least until she killed the disgusting little worm.

Besides dealing with the Justice League, making sure the kids were being properly helped, and keeping an eye out for the Marvel universes characters appearing, she had also been getting more and more lovey dovey with Raven.

Their relationship was still developing, and they hadn’t done much besides kissing and some hands playing with certain parts of each other’s bodies. But it was beginning to get to the point that Wanda was wanting more, and she hoped to get to that point soon.

Cause it was getting mean at this point, as if Raven was purposely teasing her, pushing her to the edge so Wanda would go out of her way to fuck her.

She wondered if Raven was genuinely doing it on purpose. Cause if she was, she sure as hell was going to get her back for this. And Raven would both love it, and hate it when that time came.

Her most frequent customers over the past few days was surprisingly enough Whis from the Dragon Ball universe. The man had become a pretty good person to talk with, and they frequently talked over tea and muffins as he asked her all sorts of questions.

Mostly about what her shop was exactly. As even he could not sense what it truly was, only that it was some sort of pocket universe. A pocket universe that was unlike anything he had ever seen in his many many many years of living.

Which led to her current situation, sitting at one of her tables, sipping on her tea as Whis had finished talking about the most recent fit Beerus had.

“He’s addicted, Miss Maximoff. Truly addicted. I have never seen my lord so angry that he could not eat something before. And that is saying quite a lot, considering I have seen him destroy entire worlds over not having this unique sandwich before” Whis said, which got Wanda interested.

“Oh? What was so unique about the sandwich?” Wanda asked, very curious.

“It was made of a solid diamond creature, sort of similar to a pig of Earth. It was a truly delicious meat, but was the last of its kind. So, once lord Beerus found out, he had thrown quite the fit” Whis responded, which made Wanda hum.

“A solid gold diamond pig? That is really unique…but I probably could make something similar” Wanda said, wondering what it would even taste like. She definitely was going to be making it soon, as it sounded very different, but a good type of different.

“Truly? That would mean the world to Lord Beerus!” Whis said, barely holding back the desire to drool at Wanda’s words. He wouldn’t outwardly say it, but he was as much of a foodie as Beerus was, and hated that the delicious delicacy from the diamond pig-like creature was not possible to eat anymore.

He was just very very good at hiding his annoyance at it. But now that Wanda had suggested that it was possible for her to bring it back, he could no longer hide his excitement at the idea.

“Of course. Bringing back an old species isn’t that difficult for me. I have a number of other species that you can’t find anywhere else in my personal collection of animal species. You just need to give me a few days to find out a method of creating this species” Wanda responded with a nod of confirmation. Not seeing any reason not to create it, especially when she was interested in eating it too.

“Excellent! You must tell Lord Beerus and I the moment you have it revived!” Whis exclaimed in excitement that he did not even bother to hide anymore.

“I’ll make sure to do that” Wanda said with a chuckle, finding the excitement of the angel to be funny. Someone so composed and calm was reacting like this to a literal diamond pig that was supposed to taste delicious.

“Great! Now, I must be off, otherwise Lord Beerus will be quite furious with me. Thank you for the great talk and delicious tea” Whis said with a small bow and a smile, as he walked out of the shop, leaving an amused Wanda alone.

“That man needs to work on how to cover up his excitement more. Because he is way too excited about some food” Wanda said with a hum, Raven who was in the back agreed.

“The diamond pig must have tasted incredible if he’s reacting like that over it” Raven said, as Wanda shook her head.

“No, he and his lord just really really like food. The pig itself probably tastes terrible, but I am certainly interested in seeing if it actually tastes good or not” Wanda responded, knowing that Beerus was a food addict.

And Whis was just as bad, just not to the point of getting aggressive over it. With Beerus literally blowing up worlds over food that he couldn’t eat anymore, or food that just didn’t taste good.

Good thing Earth was really really good at making incredible food.

“…What a strange universe” Raven said quietly, remembering the two saiyans that had come by at one point. The two of them were already weird enough, but add in a walking purple cat that destroyed worlds over food he did not like or get? And then a blue skinned angel too?

Weird, truly weird.

“That’s putting it lightly. But, that’s enough about that…place. What have you been up to today, while I was talking to the blue skinned angel?” Wanda asked, having not been keeping an eye on her girlfriend at that time.

“I was training my aura for a short while. It was a very helpful training session this time, as I have finally learned to change the “Sharpness” of my aura, making it much stronger and more dangerous than before” Raven responded with an excited smile on her face, truly happy with the work she had done.

“That’s great babe!” Wanda said with a happy smile, pressing a kiss against her girlfriend’s lips, who blushed at the praise. As it turns out, Raven did indeed have a bit of a praise kink.

It was cute.

After saying those words, the front door to the bookstore dinged, as Wanda raised an eyebrow and looked over to the door, only to still as her eyes widened in rare surprise, as the person who stood there was…
