[3rd POV]

The reveal of Naruto’s immense new power had been…a shock. Everyone dropped their jaws to the sight, but nobody more than Hiruzen himself. The Kage of Suna, the one that was actually Orochimaru, also stared in surprise.

Naruto was strong last time they had fought, but not that strong. Meaning, he had grown a LOT in the short time span since their first fight.

‘…I’m beginning to regret not marking him’ Orochimaru thought, realizing that Naruto might have been the better choice afterall. Because that sort of power, that sort of talent…that was incredible.

“You’ve got quite the genin there, Hokage-San. To display such a level of physical strength at his age, truly impressive” Orochimaru said, still keeping the hidden guise of the Kazekage, who is very dead at the moment.

“Y-Yes, yes I suppose Naruto-kun is” Hiruzen replied awkwardly, as inwardly he was questioning what had happened to make him so powerful.

Danzo on the other hand, was watching with gritted teeth, knowing that Wanda was the reason for the boy’s immense growth in power in such a short time. It was making it increasingly harder to get him onto his side. To make him a weapon solely for the village and himself.

‘Hmm, still lacking in a few areas’ Wanda thought, noticing a few flaws in his technique. It should have been stronger than that, but it was good enough for a fight against Neji.

Neji in question, was alarmed with the strength of the punch. As he moved to dodge another of the strikes as it whizzed past him, an air current rippled from each and every blow. His strikes were so fast and so strong that you could literally hear them.

Neji rotated, his palm extending and slamming against where Naruto just stood, the blonde flipping out of the way with a bit of difficulty, as kunai launched at Neji, who scoffed and blocked them.

Only for the kunai to puff into smoke, as clones burst out, launching strikes at Neji who blocked them with difficulty, as the real Naruto burst forwards, his fist striking squarely into his shoulder, a shout of pain echoing from Neji’s throat.

The strike had landed squarely against the shoulder, as he grit his teeth, realizing that it was definitely broken.

A single strike had broken his shoulder, a majorly important bone for his techniques. Meaning…this battle was going to be a lot harder for him. He would need to fight through the pain in order to get through this fight, and show Naruto that Fate was determined.

And Naruto could not change that.

Naruto didn’t care much about that, as he continued to launch an assault against Neji, who was dodging the best he could, once he realized that blocking simply wasn’t the way to do things. Even his Hyuga techniques wouldn’t do shit against the power of his blows.

And what made it worse was that Naruto hadn’t even used any proper jutsu yet. So who knows what he had up his sleeves, as Neji managed to land his first blow, a palm strike against Naruto’s stomach.

A strike that did…nothing.

“Wh-What?” Tenten muttered, wide eyed as she saw that the powerful strike didn’t even harm Naruto at all. Like he had an invisible armor around him.

And…he did.

It was a technique that he had made with the help of Wanda. One that allowed him to use his immense chakra reserves to make a passive chakra armor around him that blocked blows and absolutely massively strengthened his durability and defenses.

And it wasn’t even completed yet, once it was completed it would be a lot better. And if he learned more about the Raikage’s technique involving lightning, he’d be able to make it even better. A technique worthy of being a trump card.

“How did that not harm him at all?” Sakura questioned, genuinely confused. Asuma and Kurenai wanted to answer, but they both looked just as confused, as they had never seen something like that before.

Might Guy watched particularly interested, finding that whatever the boy had used, to be quite powerful and potentially very useful. If it could block a palm technique of the Hyuga clan, it might just be a huge boon, but also a huge threat, especially for the Hyuga’s.

And if the reaction of the patriarch of the Hyuga clan was any indicator, he had realized it too.

“Father, is…is that normal?” Hanabi Hyuga asked, having never seen one of their techniques get blocked so effortlessly.

“No…no it is not” Hiashi replied, frowning as he activated his Byakugan, his eyes widening in understanding what this technique was.

‘Incredible…he’s making an invisible, formless armor of pure chakra around his form. Like an extra layer of skin that blocks the blows of others. But it just like armor can break, and it relies on chakra to remain strong, so he can’t keep it up forever. But with his freakishly large reserves…that might not matter to him’ Hiashi thought, understanding that this wasn’t a technique just anyone could use.

It was perfect for Uzumaki’s, and especially perfect for Naruto himself.

‘Good, it won’t be too big of a problem as long as only those with freakishly large reserves can use it. We can’t touch most of them anyways’ Hiashi thought, breathing a sigh of relief as he watched as Neji looked down at his palm.

‘The boy has already lost’ Hiashi understood, knowing that Neji stood no chance against such a technique.

“Still believe in that fate bullshit? Cause I don’t! Fate’s for wimps and losers who can’t get over their own mistakes and inadequacy” Naruto said, grinning as he knew that this battle was his.

He just hoped he made his Mama proud with his showing.

Wanda who was listening in was proud of her son, as he had grown a lot over the past month. He was many times stronger than his canon self was at this point, and he will only continue to grow in power and intellect.

She was excited to see what he could become in the future.

“What do you know of fate?!” Neji scowled in response, throwing more palm strikes rapidly, now going on the offensive, trying to hit Naruto. He did manage to land a few blows, but his chakra armor blocked it all, absorbing the blows like they were nothing.

Not even strikes against his chakra points were working, as he first would have to break through the armor, and that…wasn’t possible for his level.

“Nothing! Because that shit doesn’t exist! Fate, Destiny, none of it exists! And if it does, so what!? You can’t let it control you! We write our own fate, we write our own stories! And Naruto Uzumaki is the master of his own destiny!” Naruto exclaimed in response, his fist staring against Neji’s injured shoulder, the boy crying out in pain as he struggled to block the next blow that slammed against his stomach, launching him back.

Neji could only try his best to dodge, as he responded enraged “Shut up! You know nothing! You know nothing of my life, nothing of my fate!”

“You’re right, I don’t! But you do! Have you even tried to change things!? To fight back against this cage you’ve locked yourself into!? To change this fate that you seem to think is so set!? Stop being a damn coward and fight back!” Naruto yelled back, his fists moving at rapid speeds as Neji snarled, his own palms beginning to strike back.

His superior technique was hitting Naruto more than Naruto was hitting him, but his blows did next to nothing, while every blow from Naruto broke bones, caused immense pain, and made him weaker and weaker.

But at the same time as fighting, Neji was trying his best to not let Naruto’s words get to him, as he couldn’t help but remember the past, of his father, of his uncle, of the other Hyuga’s he was connected with, and one flashing more than any other…

“And stop taking all your own problems out on Hinata-Chan!” Naruto roared one last time, as his fist launched out, slamming straight into Neji’s face full force, as Neji was launched back against the stadium wall, flashes of the warmth Hinata showed him flowing through his brain, as two final words echoed from his throat as everything began to go dark.

“I’m sorry”

And as he fell to the ground, knocked out, the announcer ran over to him, before nodding. As he looked up to the stands and yelled out, medics running in as he yelled.

“Neji Hyuga is unconscious. Naruto Uzumaki wins!”

No idea how good the talk no jutsu was, as I…am awful at that sort of stuff, sorry if it was bad.

And there was a bit of action during this, but it was mostly Naruto beating the snot out of Neji, and beating a lesson into him at the same time.
