[3rd POV]

Watching as Hermione flipped through the books in the magical section in silent glee, eyes scanning through book after book, not glancing away as the other two were in the fictional section, scanning through the comics.

Smiling amused at the looks they had, she looked away as the door opened once again, Klaus, Elijah, and Hayley. In Klaus and Elijah’s hands were a small stack of books each, all of which were magical in nature, causing Wanda to glance at them in interest.

“We’ve got the bloody books, now can we do the exchange?” Klaus asked, grumbling. He had been talked to about his attitude by Hayley and Elijah, mostly because they didn’t want this chance ruined by him.

Wanda didn’t mind too much, as he wouldn’t have normally been let in thanks to his attitude, but she had the ability to toggle wards at will, so it didn’t matter.

“Hmm, let me get a look at them first. Want to make sure it’s a fair exchange after all” Wanda replied with a smile, as they put their books on the counter, the teens all glancing at the adults before shrugging and looking back at their respective books.

Looking over the books, she found that a majority of them were fairly simple spells, none of them dark in nature or anything. Just a whole lot of simple crap, but none of it was particularly bad. She could see the use in some of them, and how some of them might be useful to people from Harry’s universe.

Add in the fact that there were around three dozen books here, and it added up a decent bit.

Looking them over for a few more moments, Wanda looked up with a smile “This’ll be enough for the book, as well as another that isn’t too expensive” Wanda said, as not all her books were the same in price, especially when it came to magic ones, as some of them were especially important, and some of them were only able to be bought through exchanges of books, and nothing else.

“Would you like to look around for another, or will you save that for later?” Wanda asked, as the three of them looked at one another, before back to Wanda.

“We’ll just take this book to go. Thank you though, Miss Maximoff” Elijah said with a small nod, grateful, before turning and walking off. Klaus just gave her a look before a single nod, walking off after his brother.

“Thanks for this, it really means a lot, and sorry about them, they’re…difficult” Hayley said with a smile as she walked off after the brothers, leaving the teens, Wanda, and Raven alone in the store.

“…Who were they, Miss Maximoff?” Hermione asked, as she walked over with a small selection of books in hand. They were mostly the minor books that were cheap enough to be bought with currency, or through a small exchange of knowledge.

“Other visitors, kid. Nothing to worry your heads about. Now, are those the books you’ve chosen?” Wanda asked, as she tapped each of the stacks that the Mikaelsons had left for her, instantly reading them, and sending them off to the back where she would then copy them in the future.

“Yep! They’re all so very interesting, so I couldn’t choose just one of them!” Hermione said with a beam, as Wanda chuckled, before glancing at the comics that the boys had chosen.

“And you two are sure you can read them? They’re quite graphic in later issues” Wanda asked as the two nodded.

“Alright then, how would you like to pay? It can be through an exchange of books, money, or a third option” Wanda said.

“Third option?” Harry asked, as they all glanced at one another.

“Mmhmm, a simple exchange of sorts. In return for the books, I take a rather nasty piece of magic that has clung itself to that scar of yours, a curse of sorts. Completely safe, no pain whatsoever, probably relieving if anything. It’ll be done in moments from starting” Wanda replied.

This “Curse” was in fact, Voldemort’s Horcrux. She wanted to use her power to absorb it and its knowledge for herself, as while the soul fragment wouldn’t do much of anything for her, same with the magic increase, it was his knowledge that she was interested in. After all, Harry Potter magic was borderline minor reality warping at times. That and she was interested in the effects of the Killing Curse, and its ability to directly harm the soul itself.

“…Why would you want that sort of thing from Harry?” Hermione asked, shaking out of her stupor, as Wanda smiled.

“Because I am interested in its use and how to counter it. That, and it has no effect or harm on anyone once it is extracted from Harry. And should you agree, It will give you enough for not only those books, but another 3 from the cheap section” Wanda said, waving her hand as a “Cheap” bookshelf formed, one that was soon full of the books that the Mikaelsons had just sold her, copies of them at least, as well as a few others.

Listening, the three glanced at one another, before Harry stepped forward.

“And it won’t hurt? It’ll get rid of the pain I sometimes feel?” Harry asked, he has had to live 14 years with the pain, and he was over it. It was especially agonizing at times, especially when near other dark creatures, objects, and Voldemort himself that one time.

“Of course, it’ll heal you up, allow you to use more magic than before, and get rid of all that pain” Wanda replied with a smile, as they all looked at one another once again, with Harry breathing in deeply as he nodded.

“I’ll do it” Harry said, as Wanda smiled.

“Great! It’ll be over in just a moment” Wanda said, as she reached her hand forward, a single finger tapping his forehead as she effortlessly absorbed the horcrux within him, the memories within pouring into her own brain, which was basically all of Voldemort’s knowledge, the useless ones being purged in an instant.

Moments later, she pulled her finger back, as Harry breathed out a sigh, blinking as he felt…free, different. Magical power trickled out of his form, now free from the constraints and weakness that the Horcrux had put upon him.

“Seems it worked well” Wanda said with a smile, watching as Harry stretched his arms slightly, putting his fingers to his scar that was now healed, as if it was never there in the first place.

“I-It worked…” Harry whispered, before looking up at her with a smile on his face.

“Thank you Miss Maximoff” Harry said, happier than he had been in a long, long time. It was like a massive weight had been lifted off of his shoulder, or head in this case. It was…comforting, to say the least.

“Not a problem dear. Now, is there anything else you need?” Wanda asked, as they all looked at one another, before shaking their heads.

“Great! If you ever are interested in more books, you know where to find me. Ah, and do bring some books to exchange next time, the older and rarer the better” Wanda said with a grin, as they all nodded, excited as they scooped up their books and comics, before walking out of the store, but not before giving her another wave.

“You absorbed something from him, didn’t you?” Raven asked, having been silently reading this entire time.

“Mmhmm, he had a rather nasty soul fragment in his scar. I absorbed it alongside the knowledge it held. Pretty interesting stuff, really. Weak, but interesting either way” Wanda replied with a small nod,

“And what about the other three? The baby that the woman, Hayley, is having is quite strong. Well, at least for a world as weak as you described to me” Raven asked, as she had been told about them a little bit, while the Golden Trio were browsing.

“They’re not too powerful or anything, but they have connections, and a host of books that could be useful to me. And the child is strong for a reason, being touched by Fate itself would do that to you” Wanda replied, knowing that Hope had a lot in store for her, and she hoped to perhaps be a part of some of it.

Looking back to the door, she opened it to two more universes, before grinning and speaking, excitement in her tone, watching and waiting.

“Now, let’s see who will come through next!”
