[3rd POV]

‘I’m glad I got more of that coffee!’ Wanda thought, as she walked through the streets of Gotham a couple of days later after she had watched the fight between Ivy and Batman. The coffee she had gotten was seriously addicting to the point that she had to use a bit of her…gifts to figure out how it was made.

Over the couple of days, she had ended up just…enjoying life more as usual. But now as she was walking through the streets of Gotham, she had stopped as a voice echoed through the area.

“What do we got here, boys? A little bitch walking in our territory? What’d you say we play with some new meat?” A big man said as he walked out from around the corner, a group of men behind him with lecherous grins on their faces.

Glancing at them all, Wanda let out a sigh “Alright, let’s get this over with. You’re going to start rambling about the things you will supposedly do to me, laugh and tease and then try to attack me, only to drop to the floors once your hearts explode” Wanda said, groaning at the fact that these idiots just kept trying.

“What the fuck is this bitch saying?” One of the men asked in confusion, only for blood to splurt from his mouth, as all their hearts popped like balloons within their chest, each of them making choking sounds as they all began to drop to the floor, dead.

Gazing at their bodies, Wanda let out a sigh as she flicked her wrist, the bodies being moved back into the alleyway as she walked off, only to stop as she felt someone plop to the ground behind her, and attempted to throw something at her, only for it to be obliterated before it even got close.

“Stop right there, foul villain!” A feminine voice echoed, as Wanda glanced back at them, only for her eyebrow to shoot to the sky in confusion. The woman standing there was tall, taller than you, and had some rather…interesting armor on her figure. The woman that stood there was…Wonder Woman.

‘Why is Wonder Woman here in Gotham?’ Wanda thought in slight surprise, as she looked the attractive woman over. She was hot, but she wasn’t interested. The woman was the cliche hero who refused to kill, so not anyone she was interested in.

“May I ask what I have done that is so villainous?” Wanda asked, looking at the woman as she scowled.

“You killed them!” Wonder Woman yelled, as she began to move closer to her, while Wanda raised an eyebrow and flicked her wrist, reality trembling as she repaired their hearts.

“Did I? If you checked closer you would see that I simply knocked them unconscious. And why are you in Gotham? Shouldn’t you be in DC?” Wanda asked as she looked at the woman, not even remotely afraid of her. Her “Reality Field” was already up around her, blocking any sort of attacks.

Wonder Woman hearing this, turned to the bodies with a frown as she heard their hearts beating again. They were stopped moments before.

“You still must come to me, you attacked them with an unknown power!” Wonder Woman said, as Wanda raised an eyebrow as she gazed at her.

“Did you not hear what they were threatening to do to me, Wonder Woman? Or are you ignoring that because I used power in order to knock them out and don’t like that an unknown factor had appeared in Gotham?” Wanda asked, having an idea on why the woman was so intent on capturing her.

“I do not care for your excuses, you will be coming with me, now!” Wonder Woman said, as Wanda deadpanned as she stared at her, an unimpressed look on her face as the woman marched towards her, reaching her hand out and gripping her arm.

“Okay well, I was trying to be nice. But even I have limits, and this is one of them. So I suggest you back off after this, Diana Prince” Wanda said simply, as she lifted her hand, and flicked Wonder Woman on the forehead, as her eyes went looney, and she slowly dropped to the floor, unconscious.

“Don’t worry Diana, no one will come by until Bruce finds you. But I hope you understand that I have no desire to get locked up by the Justice League of all people” Wanda said, crouching over her unconscious form with a sigh, as she put up a barrier around the woman, making her invisible until the time was right, as she got to her feet with a stretch, her coffee in hand.

Walking off, Wanda whistled as she made her way back to the bookstore, little care in the world as she just knocked out one of the strongest woman in the universe with a single flick.

She knew this would bring the attention of the Justice League, but she was pretty much done with even bothering to deal with BS anymore, as it had become a bore over the past few days.

Back at the bookstore, Wanda sat at the desk, watching as Dick picked out some new comic books. Three other teens were looking alongside him. Wanda watched as they did, recognizing them as Wally West, Roy Harper, and Kaldur’ahm.

“So this is the shop that you got those comics from? Awesome man! I’m totally coming here more often whenever I’m in town!” Wally said as he flipped through the comics that he planned on buying. Not wanting to piss off the owner of such an awesome shop.

“It does have quite the assortment of comics, as well as normal books. Not to mention this absolutely delicious tea, I certainly will be coming here quite often as well” Kaldur said with a smile, a stack of books of his own in his hands.

“The martial arts books here are pretty crazy, so yeah, I guess I’ll be coming by too” Roy said with a shrug, not wanting to admit that this place was pretty awesome, as it had a lot of variety. He had a stack of comic books and martial arts books in his hands.

“Told you the place was awesome! You guys haven’t even looked at the manga she’s got too! One Punch Man is awesome! And it’s all written by the shop owner too! No idea how she produced it, but it’s legit stuff” Dick said, walking over and handing them a volume of One Punch Man.

“She makes this? That is incredibly impressive for a small-time bookstore owner. Where did she get the production needed to even produce such a thing?” Kaldur asked in interest, as that sounded like a lot for a single person.

“No idea, never bothered asking. It’s not really my place to ask about that sort of thing though, is it?” Dick responded with a shrug, not really knowing and not really finding any need to ask. It was…a bit personal.

“Still weird ain’t it?” Wally asked as they began to move towards the desk where they would pay, Wanda listening to their conversation with a small sigh escaping her lips.

“Well why don’t we just ask her?” Roy said, before walking up and speaking to Wanda.

“Hey, we saw that all your comics are made by you, how did you make that and produce it?” Roy asked as Wally tried to cut him off from what could be an awkward conversation, only for him to ignore him and ask Wanda.

“Hmm? Oh that? It’s simple, I’ve got a local produce that makes them for me is all. They make small batches for me whenever I need them in return for a certain price, nothing too crazy, the norm if you will” Wanda replied with a shrug, not minding the question too much, even if they were making it awkward.

At the response, the group looked slightly surprised that it was so simple, so they just glanced at one another and shrugged, before placing all their books, comics, and manga onto the counter, before taking out the cash they each owed.

“Quite the selection huh? Not bad” Wanda said as she looked over all the books they had gotten, putting them into separate bags for each person as she gave them their receipts as well.

“Thanks Wanda, see you later!” Dick said as she gave them a wave, before walking off with the rest of the group, leaving Wanda alone as she watched them leave, a chuckle escaping her lips, and one thought on her mind.
