[3rd POV]

Walking up to her counter, Saitama placed the five books onto the counter in front of her. Watching silently as she began to look them over with a hum.

“Quite the selection you’ve brought me today, Saitama. Not at all what I was expecting from you, but certainly a welcome selection” Wanda said with a small smile on her face, as she looked over the books. They were almost entirely scientific in nature, and were on various advanced sciences from his world, as well as a single book on the study of psionics.

That book was primarily talking about what psionics was, and talked a lot about Tatsumaki, and what the author believed made her so powerful. It was quite an interesting looking book, so she decided to add it to her “To be read” section, as it was a large book on an area that she hadn’t read a book on yet.

The sciences weren’t the most advanced she had ever seen, not even close. But they did have some interesting theories and methods that were not known in other universes, so she had a feeling that her scientist customers would be particularly interested in the new theories to be learned.

“Yeah well, I wasn’t really sure what you like. So I decided to grab whatever looked super nerdy and would fit with this place. And I just grabbed the first things I saw” Saitama responded with a shrug, as Wanda chuckled.

“Well, it seems you made the right decision. Because these are excellent choices on your part, quite interesting too. So they are more than enough for the spar that you will be having with my daughter. Who I must say, is very excited to have an opponent like you” Wanda said with a small smile on her face, knowing Milim was upstairs waiting excitedly, already knowing that Saitama has arrived at this point.

She was very curious to see how this fight would turn out. She knew Milim would likely win, but if the fight continued for long enough, then she could totally see Saitama beating her daughter. And that would more than likely make her daughter want to spar with him even more.

He was the perfect sparring partner, afterall.

“So…can I go and spar with her now?” Saitama asked, not really caring that she was Wanda’s daughter or anything. He just wanted to meet the one that should supposedly give him a genuine fight. He had been waiting for days now, anxious to see if it was true.

And now he could finally see if it was.

If he could finally fight to his fullest extent, to go all out and enjoy a fight for once. To satiate this battle hunger that he has had for years now.

He hoped that Wanda hadn’t lied to him.

“Of course. Follow me, she’s already waiting upstairs in the pocket dimension you’ll be sparring in” Wanda responded with a smile, as she began to direct him, the man following behind her as they walked into the stairway that led upstairs, beginning to walk up the flight of stairs.

“So…the one I’m fighting is your daughter?” Saitama asked, as they began to walk upstairs, the man behind her. He noticed that something about this place was strange, beyond the magic door. It was the fact that the flight of stairs was leading to something…powerful.

His senses were telling him that much. Which is weird, because his senses have never reacted over someone else before. Not even with Wanda, but what he didn’t realize is that it didn’t react to Wanda because it is next to impossible to detect her. And she is simply too powerful to be detected by him.

Maybe after the spar with Milim he could have a chance at detecting her, but that was still unlikely.

“Yep. But don’t worry, she’s strong, and a great fighter. And if anything happens – on either side – I’ll step in and stop the fight, and heal the two of you if you are injured. So there is nothing to worry about” Wanda said, as the man nodded slowly, continuing to follow after her, towards the girl that he would be sparring against.

Eventually, they reached the top. And waiting there was the girl he’d be fighting. He stared at her blandly, wondering if this was a joke, for she was…a pipsqueak.

“…Not what I was expecting” Saitama said blandly, as Wanda giggled.

“Whoa…you really are super bald!” Milim replied with wide childish eyes, inwardly grinning at the twitch of Saitama’s brow, annoyance clear in his eyes. But he hid it well.

He hated when someone talked about his bald head.

“…Are we going to spar or not” Saitama asked, wanting to move on from the topic of his shiny, gleaming, large, bald head.

“Yeah!” Milim responded with an excited grin, causing Wanda to smile.

“Follow me. I’ve got a pocket dimension specifically for this, so you two can go all out and not have to worry about the side effects of your great battle” Wanda said, as Milim began to skip behind her mother, while Saitama walked behind her silently, inwardly hoping he hadn’t been lied to.

He’d be mad if he was.

Walking into the door that they were led to, Saitama blinked in slight surprise when he stepped through and it led to…what almost looked like space. A large infinitely open space, with a white platform as the “Ground”. It was different than what he was expecting, but a good different.

Stepping onto the platform, the two moved and began to stand across from one another, while Wanda floated up into the sky, and began to speak.

“Alright. This spar is until either surrender, being knocked unconscious, or when I say so. If it goes too far, then I will be stepping in, and stopping it. You both understand?” Wanda asked, giving them a look, especially her daughter who nodded rapidly.

“Yes” Saitama responded simply, as she smiled.

“Great. Then start whenever you are ready!” Wanda exclaimed, a barrier forming around her, as if it was a sort of spectating booth. Blocking them from destroying it or anything, so she wouldn’t have to worry about getting in the way.

The two stood across from one another for a short while, staring at one another. Milim had a grin on her face, eyes shining with excitement, while Saitama apathetically stared back. And in the next moment, the two blurred at speeds that most wouldn’t be able to comprehend.

Their fists crashed together as the dimension shook from the blow. Saitama’s eyes widening as he looked at the fist locked against his, his face slowly warping as Milim threw another one at him, their fists crashing again.

“Told you I could fight you!” Milim grinned widely, feeling the power behind his punches. It wasn’t at the same level as Goku, but she could tell instinctively that it was full of potential, that Saitama himself had more potential than Goku. All due to his ability to rapidly adapt and evolve during fights, getting stronger than the one he is fighting at immense, rapid speeds.

He truly would be the perfect sparring partner in every single form.

Their fists began to move faster and faster, the space around them shaking with every earth shattering blow that crashed together. The platform being coated in dust and wind as they moved so fast that they blurred.

Wanda watched it all with amusement, seeing the excitement on Saitama’s face, as he finally got a battle that would not end in a single punch. While Milim was enjoying this thoroughly, her form rippling with more and more power after every single strike.

She did this in response to Saitama’s power beginning to rise, as if it was reacting to her own, growing rapidly in order to contend against, and surpass her.

‘She’s enjoying this even more than the spar with Goku’ Wanda thought, noticing that her grin was wider, her power was flaring more and more, and she was happily laughing as their fists crashed together. The platform rumbling from their strikes that could destroy planets with ease.

‘He’s enjoying these even more though’ Wanda thought, seeing the happy smile on the man’s face, as he was going all out against Milim, finally able to satiate his thirst for a proper battle.

Watching the two battle it out, Wanda smiled softly at the excitement, one thought on her mind.

‘…Seems they’re enjoying it…good’
