[3rd POV]

As it turns out, coming out of a mysterious door that had been off limits for months now, and doing so alongside the ruler of the village that it was within, tended to draw quite a lot of attention. Wanda could hear the whispers of the civilians of the village, as they watched her.

But thankfully they weren’t causing any sort of problems or anything, as Rimuru was telling them off, and had seemingly already told some of his more important subordinates about her and just how powerful she was. Smart, very smart. Especially since they were overprotective, and she herself was capable of wiping out the entire Tensura multiverse with a casual flex of her power.

It didn’t help that she would be getting the means to create any skill soon, at least any skill that already existed in the past, present, and future. Meaning that skills like Void God Azazoth would be hers sooner or later, alongside skills like Magicules Breed Reactor and more.

Walking at the side of Rimuru along the stone pathway of the developing village, Wanda couldn’t help but be slightly impressed with the development of the village. It was sizable, had well made buildings, and all sorts of functional buildings that would be considered excellent even in modern times.

“I must admit, your village is quite impressive for a world like this one. Although I guess having dwarves helping you out probably made it a lot easier to accomplish all of this” Wanda said, knowing that dwarves tended to be very skilled at all sorts of craftsmanship, including making buildings.

“Thanks, I owe most of it to Kaijin and the other dwarves that moved here. They’re real geniuses in their craft. Pretty much everything you see was made with their help” Rimuru responded, a little embarrassed at the praise, as he didn’t really do much in terms of actually helping with the building process.

It really was most the dwarves that had done it. All he had done was bring them there in person, besides that, he hadn’t done anything.

“Well, either way this was all possible because of you, Rimuru. So you should be proud of what you have accomplished so far, as not many others would be able to do all of this in the time you have” Wanda responded, smiling at his embarrassed face, finding it to be amusing.

The androgynous man only flushed at the praise, unused to it, before coughing awkwardly.

“Alright! Since I’ve shown you around I’ll leave you to explore more on your own, I’ve got other things to do!” Rimuru exclaimed, before running off before giving Wanda a chance at responding.

Giggling, she just watched him flee.

‘How cute, getting all embarrassed just from me complimenting him’ Wanda thought, as the slime left, probably to talk with the others to warn them of her presence there, or maybe just to get away from the embarrassment.

The man hadn’t been the most social person in his past life, having only a small group of friends. He also wasn’t one to get praise or compliments, and even in this life he was unused to them. Although his subordinates tended to praise him literally whenever they possibly could.

Seeing as she was alone now, Wanda decided to finally get the skills she had wanted. The Akashic Records and the Lord of Creation skills, one ultimate and the other “Origin”.

Flexing her power, she began to spread her power outwards, using her new skills to manipulate origin and possibility in her favor. Time began to slow to a crawl as she began to manipulate reality, and the very system that made up the world. She was, in essence, “Hacking” the universe itself, warping it in her favor, so that she would get the two skills she wanted.

The voice of the world couldn’t even fight back as she effortlessly broke the laws of the system, and obtained that in which she truly wanted.

As Wanda heard these words ripple through her head, she smiled, as she felt the skills cement within her being. Two immensely powerful skills that would grant her the means to create any skill she wanted, which means that she would soon gain access to the Ultimate Skills of others, even the strongest of them.

She decided to wait until before she left for those though, and instead, she began to tour more of the quaint village, finding herself enjoying the atmosphere. It was quiet, homely, and very comfy feeling. A perfect place for her bookstore to be open at.

Speaking of her bookstore, she planned on speaking with Rimuru about letting all of his subordinates shop there. As she would be willing to take trades of minerals and other homemade items that they might have to trade or sell. She was also just interested in having more species shopping at her store, besides humans, slimes, a few Gods, a devil, and the like.

She would eventually begin to cap the amount of people that could be in the store at the same time, so it would remain comfortable and not overcrowded, but she doubted that would happen for a while.

After a while of walking around the village, Wanda was enjoying a meal at one of the few restaurants in the village, the food itself was actually quite good, at least for a small village like this one.

‘I’ll have to tell Rimuru about the spices and other herbs I’m growing, as I’m sure he can use them to make all sorts of delicious meals he wouldn’t be able to otherwise’ Wanda thought as she ate her tasty soup. Some of the meals in the village were unique, even to her, so she wanted to learn some of the recipes for them in the future.

While eating, Wanda stopped mid bite, as she glanced upwards, a small chuckle escaping her lips as she sensed something.

‘Seems the little bundle of mayhem has officially arrived. I was hoping to meet her in person’ Wanda thought with a small hum, sensing Milim not that far away. She had just arrived in front of a shocked Rimuru, with his subordinates already running towards her location in order to protect Rimuru, or at least try to.

Finishing the rest of her tasty soup, she placed a pure golden coin on the table, before walking off with a small smile on her face, as she leisurely walked through the village towards where Milim was.

A little bit outside of the village, on the cliff face that looked over it, Milim Nava was standing within a large crater, made from flexing her own power. Rimuru was in his human form, giving his subbordinates that had attempted to attack her a healing potion for each of them.

“I’ll take care of this” Rimuru said with a calm smile on his face, already having a plan in mind on how to stop Milim.

“What’s this? Haven’t played enough yet? Very well. I’ll play with you some more” Milim said with a grin, her eyes glowing.

“Rimuru-Sama…” One of Rimuru’s subordinates muttered.

“Once you give up, it’s all over. So you gotta do what you can. Don’t get your hopes up” Rimuru said, as he walked over to the crater, looking down at Milim.

“Oh? You’re going to face me?” Milim questioned with a raised eyebrow, excitement in her eyes.

“If you’re so confident, why not taste one of my attacks?” Rimuru asked, as Milim let out a laugh.

“Very well! Sounds interesting! But if it doesn’t work, you must sweat to become my subordinate.” Milim responded, as Rimuru nodded.

“Fine”

As Rimuru began to communicate with Great Sage inwardly, he let out a sigh, as a golden blob appeared in his hand. This golden orb? It was…honey…just very tasty honey.

As he began to move forwards to shove it into Milim’s mouth, a voice echoed.

“You know, when I came to this little village of yours, I can’t say I was expecting such a show~” Wanda’s voice echoed from behind Milim, as the demon lord’s eyes constricted, as she hadn’t even sensed Wanda appear. She didn’t hear her, she didn’t smell her…nothing.

Seeing Wanda standing there, Rimuru stopped before letting out a laugh “Man you came at the perfect time! I was a little worried I’d have to rely on my…sweet attack to beat her”

“Well it would have worked you know, but I thought it’d be best to step in either way” Wanda replied with a shrug, as she noticed Milim looking at her with a strange glint in her eyes.

‘Hmm? Why is she looking at me like that?’ Wanda questioned, growing concerned as she noticed tears in Milim’s eyes.

Rimuru also noticed, glancing at Wanda with a confused look on his face, but Wanda had no response, as Milim blurred towards her, and…hugged her?

It was the word that flew out of her mouth next that got even Wanda to drop her jaw, and that was…

“MAMA!”

Wanda could only blank as she felt the smaller form sob against her, as only one sound echoed from her, and that was…

“Huh?”

Yeah, Milim senses the power that Wanda had copied from Veldanava inside of Wanda, and she can only just barely sense that Wanda was similar to him in some ways.

You can expect for Wanda to have a new worker in her shop, and a chaotic little munchkin that will be getting up to a lot of interesting things, especially if she joins Wanda when she travels to some other worlds.
