[3rd POV]

The little journey to find Tsunade had been an…interesting one. With Wanda and Milim enjoying the journey, seeing new villages and small towns. Jiraiya had been his perverted self, trying to go to all hot springs and saunas he could come across, and had even tried to spy on Wanda once.

Only for him to be blinded for hours after that, which was basically his one and only warning against even trying that again. Should he try it again, then Wanda planned on taking his chakra from him and throwing him to the other women that he had been spying on.

He’d get the shit beaten out of him, and he wouldn’t be able to do anything about it as he would not have chakra to defend himself with. He’d probably end up with broken bones and bruises everywhere, so he was lucky to not try it again.

They continued to travel through villages for a few days, before eventually they managed to get some information on where Tsunade was. But beyond that, Wanda knew that they were now in the village where the Akatsuki would appear, more specifically Itachi and Kisame.

Neither of them were a problem for her, but they naturally would be for Naruto. But Milim and Jiraiya were both capable of defeating them, Milim with laughable ease. Even the Sharingan would do nothing against her, so that wouldn’t make much of a difference.

At the moment Naruto was sitting in their hotel room with Milim and Wanda. He was using his clones to train his rasengan, as while he had already mastered the usage of it, he was trying to learn how to combine other elements into it, like fire, lightning, and wind.

Rasenshuriken was the primary one that he wanted to learn, but it was also the most dangerous, to the point that Wanda had to make sure he reinforced his body with the chakra armor technique that Wanda had taught him. As otherwise he could potentially harm himself quite severely.

“How’s the training on the rasenshuriken going, little bro?” Milim asked, munching on her chips as she watched YouTube on Wanda’s phone, which was capable of functioning in any and all multiverses she brought it to.

“It’s hard! The damn thing keeps failing, and I have to constantly keep my chakra under control or else it will explode. Not only that, but it hurts like hell without chakra armor” Naruto grumbled, irritated with how difficult the technique was.

“How come you won’t help him, Mama?” Milim asked, as Wanda looked up from her book before smiling softly.

“Because I cannot do everything for either of you. Otherwise you’ll become reliant on my help, and I don’t want that. I want you to get strong on your own so that you will not have to rely on me in the future” Wanda explained, as Milim slowly nodded, as that…made a lot of sense in her mind.

It would make sure that they could develop into proper people, at least for Naruto. As Milim had already grown strong on her own, and she had no reason to depend on her Mama, even if Wanda was millions of times stronger than her.

“That…makes a lot of sense. Just sucks because this is really difficult” Naruto said with a pout, wishing to do this faster, but understanding what his mother was saying. That she wanted him to grow strong without her.

“You’ll get it eventually honey, I believe in you” Wanda responded with a smile, as Naruto blinked at the words, before beaming as he decided to start working on his technique again.

While he was working on the resenshuriken, Wanda turned back to Milim, looking over her shoulder and growing amused when she realized her daughter was watching videos on a game she had gotten into over the past few weeks, Borderlands.

More specifically, she was watching videos on Borderlands 3, as she had only recently beaten the 2nd one and the Pre sequel.

“You planning on playing that one soon?” Wanda asked as Milim turned to her before nodding with a bright grin.

“Yeah! I’m gonna play as Amara, cause she beats people up with her fists!” Milim said with shiny eyes, excited to play it once they got back to the bookstore, as that was where the best gaming setup was.

It was also the one that was made specially for Milim in her own room so she’d have a more comfortable space to play her video games in. Wanda had her own gaming setup, and both of them were the best ones in the multiverse, akin to a super computer made just to play video games.

Milim loved it.

“Well maybe once we get home we can play together” Wanda offered, as Milim looked at her Mama with an excited grin and nodded, agreeing to the suggestion as it did sound fun.

“Can I play too?” Naruto asked, hearing their conversation.

“Hmm…only if you play Zane!” Milim said, as Naruto blinked before nodding.

“I don’t know who that is, but sure!”

Milim grinned at the response, excited to play with her Mama and brother. As while Naruto wasn’t the best at video games, he was really fun to play with. And he had crazy good luck too, so maybe he could give her better drops when they play.

Returning back to her video, the trio returned back to enjoying their time in peace. But that peace was soon interrupted, as the door was knocked on, causing Wanda to glance at it, before raising an eyebrow.

‘Seems that they’re here’ Wanda thought, as she got to her feet, knowing who was on the other end.

“Let me take care of this real quick, alright? I’ll be back in a moment” Wanda said with a smile, as they both looked at her, confused, before nodding as she walked through the door without even opening it.

Stepping through the door, the two men on the other side looked at her in alarm as they leapt back.

“Itachi Uchiha and Kisame? I knew you’d be coming, but I honestly hoped to see more than just the two of you here” Wanda said, a little disappointed as she looked at the two of them, almost immediately noticing the rather nasty cancer that Itachi was afflicted with.

“And who are you, lady?” Kisame asked, alarmed as he realized he couldn’t even sense her. He hadn’t even noticed as she stepped through the door, until she was all the way through it.

“Wanda Maximoff, the adoptive mother of the little boy that you are attempting to hunt. Not that you will be able to hunt him, or anything” Wanda said with a smile, as Kisame snorted.

“And you think you can stop us, please”

“Step aside ma’am. We will not kill you or your daughter if you give us Naruto” Itachi said, his naturally emotionless voice echoing through the room as Wanda glanced at him. He was very very sick, and while she did feel bad for him because of what he was forced to do, she did not care for him.

Not when he slaughters hundreds of innocent children from his actions.

“I will give the two of you one more warning. Leave, now. If you do not, then I will make sure you both regret it, severely” Wanda warned, as the two of them glanced at one another, with Kisame snorting.

“Alright lady, we warned you” Kisame said threateningly, as he began to walk forwards, while Wanda just let out a sigh.

“And I warned you” Wanda said simply, as she disappeared from her location, and reappeared in front of Kisame. The man couldn’t even follow her movements, and hadn’t even realized she appeared in front of him, before a flick was placed against his forehead.

The second she flicked him, he flew through the room, every bone in his body shattering in an instant as he was launched through the hallways, slamming against the wall with a crash and a loud scream of pain.

Looking back to the wide eyed Itachi, Wanda smiled “So, do you still believe you can touch my son? Or am I going to have to beat you up like that friend of yours? And before you even try it, those little eyes of yours will not affect me, so don’t bother” Wanda said, as the man reared back, as he glanced at his unconscious and severely injured ally.

“…I apologize, ma’am, we shall be taking our leave” He said, before leaving the area, Kisame with him, injured and on the cusp of death.

Watching him leave, Wanda smiled, one thought on her mind.

‘That should turn out interesting’
