[3rd POV]

Hearing her response, Amity had promptly started to cry in her arms once again. This time it was not out of sadness or heartbreak or anything like that, but out of pure happiness. With Wanda just smiling softly, her arms wrapping around the girl as she got her shirt wet again.

That wetness disappeared moments later.

It had taken her a few minutes to calm down enough for her tears to stop flowing, and for her to pull back from the powerful hug. She was wiping the tears from her eyes, when Wanda decided to ask a rather important question.

“So, honey, was that a yes?” Wanda asked, wanting to make sure the girl actually wanted to stay with her. She needed a verbal confirmation for this sort of thing, to make sure that she was not somehow mistreating things.

“Y-Yes, I’d like to stay with you, Wanda” Amity responded with a nod, a happy gleam in her eyes.

“Good. Your room upstairs will be all ready and prepped by the end of the day. Now, I have another rather important question to ask” Wanda said, giving her a meaningful look before gazing off at the still frozen red-faced Odalia.

The woman was enraged, that much was clear to Wanda. She was trying her best to free herself from the binding that was keeping her frozen in place. Sadly for her, there was absolutely nothing she could possibly do that could get her free of it.

She would have to be stronger than Wanda, and well…she was definitely not stronger than Wanda, clearly. There wasn’t a single being in that multiverse that could even remotely come close to Wanda, the Collector was nothing more than an ant to her, and he was the strongest being shown in Owl House.

There was probably stronger in the form of his siblings, the others similar to him, but still.

“What would you like me to do about her? I have already cursed her to lose all magic, to lose the ability to lay a hand on another, to have more children, and a few dozen other things. But is there something else you would like for me to do?” Wanda asked, as she looked over at Amity who was still.

“I-U-Um…could you make her feel what she has done to me over the years? So she can understand just what I had to go through? What she made me go through? Is that possible?” Amity asked. Wanda looked a little surprised about the question, before nodding.

“Of course. Both your mother and father will feel everything you felt. In full. I hope this will at least start to make a difference” Wanda responded as she snapped her fingers, as Odalia who was standing there, stilled, her eyes widening as she opened her mouth to scream without making a single sound.

Her body shook in pain as tears welled in her eyes. She was feeling every bit of pain that had assaulted her daughter over the years thanks to the abuse. She was seeing every moment of bullying from a first person perspective. She was understanding the full horror that her daughter had to go through over her fourteen years of living.

All of it.

It was enough to make her cry in pain, horror blooming in her eyes as she was trying to scream, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t. It was like she was being muted, like a tv.

Which is exactly what Wanda had done, as Amity watched silently. She wondered if it was okay for her to enjoy the sight of her own biological mother in pain, but she couldn’t help it. This was the woman that was behind her last fourteen years of pain and suffering.

She couldn’t help but feel that she had the right to be mad. To be glad to see the woman scream soundlessly in pain, to see her mother, the one that had tortured her for her entire life…in pain.

“You are allowed to enjoy this sight, hon” Wanda said softly, noticing the expression on Amity’s face, as she looked back up at Wanda.

“What?”

“You can enjoy the sight of her in pain, Amity. Nobody would blame you for it. She is the woman that has hurt you so horribly for your entire life. She is the one that has made you suffer and writhe for 14 years. You can hate her, you can wish pain on her, and you are allowed to enjoy it” Wanda explained, not blaming the child at all.

She would be the exact same way, had she been in that sort of situation. It was a completely valid, and reasonable response.

“B-But its wrong”

“It is. You are not wrong that it is wrong. But it is only wrong if you wish to see innocents in pain, to see those that do not deserve it in pain. But your mother? She deserves to feel the pain that you felt” Wanda said.

“But that’s…” “Not okay? It is. But sometimes it’s okay to be selfish, or to be “Mean”. I am not one to get on other people about morality, honey. I have done a lot of bad things, and have done a lot of things that can be seen as bad, and have enjoyed it. But never once, do I ever go out of my way to harm or hurt innocents. I do not enjoy the sight of innocents in pain. And as long as you remain that way, you’ll be just fine” Wanda cut her off.

She wasn’t really one to talk about this sort of thing. With her ending billions of lives and being pretty selfish on her own end. Not to mention cruel to those that deserve it. Like the bastards that had abused Amity, the bullies of Naruto, and the others that have hurt innocents that don’t deserve to be harmed.

“…Okay. I just…feel kinda bad” Amity said, looking at her birth mother who was still writhing in agony, or trying to at least.

“That’s okay too. It just means you have empathy for others, even if that person you have empathy for might not entirely deserve it” Wanda replied with a soft smile, as the agony that was spreading throughout Odalia slowly began to end. As to them it appeared as if it lasted a few minutes, but to her, it was like an eternity.

“Looks like her punishment is over with. To us it was but a few moments, but to her…it has been much longer” Wanda said, as the woman had tears pouring from her eyes.

“Now, would you like for me to send her off?” Wanda asked the girl, who looked over at the crying Odalia, and nodded slowly.

“Send her away please. I-I don’t want to see her anymore” Amity whispered, as Wanda smiled softly and nodded, before snapping her finger as the woman was teleported off and back into her universe. She would be appearing back in her home, probably scaring the shit out of her family, as they too deal with the curses that have been placed upon them.

And nothing they did would be able to help.

Eda who had been in the corner of the bookstore, far away and trying her best not to get involved, walked back over as she noticed that Odalia was no longer there. She had a small stack of five books in her hand, and a worried expression on her face.

“You okay kid?” Eda asked, looking at Amity as the girl looked at her in surprise before nodding.

“I’m okay. Wanda helped me” Amity responded slowly, finally calmed down as her mother was nowhere near her, which meant she was in the clear, and would never have to worry about being hit or hurt or abused ever again.

“Good. I-I never expected Odalia to be capable of something like that. Had I known I would have taken care of that b-bastard sooner. And…does my sister know about this? Lilith? Surely-” “She doesn’t know. Or if she does, she goes out of her way to ignore it” Amity cut her off with a shake of her head, remembering her supposed mentor.

The woman seemed to either know and not want to get involved, or was just truly ignorant. Either way, it made her look really bad. And Eda seemed to agree, as her face began to warp into rage.

At the same time, she paid for the books in her hand silently, before speaking.

“I’ll go talk to her. My sister. I-I can’t just let her get off without knowing what she has ignored” Eda said seriously.

“…Okay. I-I don’t really want to learn from her anymore anyways. I’d rather learn from Wanda” Amity said, looking up at Wanda with a hopeful gleam as the woman smiled.

“You’ll be getting all sorts of new magics hon”

“Alright then. I’ll be off to beat some sense into my stupid sister” Eda said, giving them a wave goodbye as she marched off with a look of rage on her face.

Seeing her leave, Wanda looked down at Amity, before asking a rather simple question.

“Would you like to see your new home?”
