[3rd POV]

“I have been told that you are immensely powerful. So powerful that not even my sister, Death, can touch upon you. And as I stare at you, I can tell that that estimation is an understatement” Dream began, as Wanda silently listened to him as she sat across from him.

She had shut down the store for now, with only Dream and Lucifer inside. As this obviously sounded important.

“As I believe you know, all of us Endless have a symbol of power, akin to the Gods that you know of. My symbol of power was my Helm, forged eons ago, a powerful artifact that has been with me for…a long long time” Dream continued, as Wanda began to understand where this was going.

“But as of recently, a foolish upstart has stolen it. And has locked it away by means that stops me from going to gather it. And while I certainly can live without it, for it’s nothing more than a symbol in truth, it is also a symbol of my power. And I require it returned” Dream explained, as Wanda hummed.

“Thus, I ask of you to return it to me. In return, I will pay you with dozens of books that no longer exist in this multiverse, ones that can only be dreamed of in passing. Books that I do believe not even you have obtained for your collection” Dream offered. Wanda’s eyes gleamed slightly in thought, her interest rising by the second.

She loved books, but there were some that not even she could obtain easily. And the ones that he was speaking of were likely some of them.

“Hmm, deal. I’ll obtain your helm for you, just give me a few moments” Wanda said as she got to her feet, with Dream watching her silently as she walked out of the shop. She stayed out there for a little more than two minutes, before the door dinged and she walked in, his helm in her hands.

“Here you go. The fool that stole it has also been dealt with, so you won’t need to worry about him again” Wanda said, as she handed the large helm over to the embodiment of Dreams. The man looked a little impressed with how fast she had worked, as he waved his hand.

A moment later dozens of thick ancient looking books formed on her counter, causing her to beam in excitement. Especially once she noticed that not a single one of them was in her collection yet, and many of them were billions upon billions of years old.

With some of them being older than the universe itself.

“Now these are quite the books you’re giving me” Wanda said, looking over the books with excitement in her eyes. She had never seen books so old, at least not books this old from the DC universe. She had seen a few from the Doctors universe, but none from DC.

“Yes well it is only fair. You have returned my helm to me, and thus only a payment of a high order is necessary” Dream responded with a nod, as he summoned another twenty books for her. Her eyes shining even more as she knew she’d have quite a reading session on her hands once this is all over and done with.

“Is there anything else you require, or is that all?” Wanda asked, looking to Dream who shook his head.

“No, that is all. Thank you for returning my helm to me, Wanda Maximoff. I will return again in the future” Dream responded simply, as he turned and walked out of the shop without another word.

“Ah, he’s always a bit of a stiff one isn’t he? Get’s real bloody old after a little while” Lucifer commented, watching Dream leave the shop. He had met all of the Endless several times over, as he was their superior in literally every manner, so it was only natural.

“He didn’t seem that bad. A little quiet, but nothing I haven’t seen before. And he is easier to work with than you” Wanda responded bluntly, with Lucifer giving her an overly exaggerated pout in response.

“And here I thought you loved to work with me!” Lucifer said with a fake cry, as Wanda just rolled her eyes at the man.

“Sure sure, I love to have you, Lucifer” Wanda replied boredly, which just made Lucifer fake cry even louder, and Wanda let out a sigh.

“Now get back to finding your books, you troublesome devil” Wanda ordered, as the man just huffed and went back to searching for the books he wanted.

“So that was Dream of the Endless?” Raven asked, as she walked up behind Wanda.

“Mmhmm” Wanda responded with a hum, as she pecked Raven on the lips. The woman just smiled slightly at the kiss, leaning against her back as stood behind the counter.

“What’re the kids up to?” Wanda asked. She had been pretty preoccupied with the shop and the fact that Dream of the Endless had visited. So she wasn’t really checking on them. But she trusted them to take care of themselves when she was handling the shop.

“Upstairs playing some video games. Some game called “Fortnite” or something, I wasn’t really paying much attention to it” Raven responded, breathing in Wanda’s scent with a pleased sigh.

Wanda chuckled at her girlfriend’s actions. As ever since she had told her about her past, Raven has been very clingy and lovey dovey. Something that she did not mind at all, especially when they cuddled up together at night. They had never gone beyond cuddling, but Wanda was getting very very close to going beyond that.

“Fortnite? I didn’t even know those two liked games like that” Wanda said in slight surprise. They usually played fighting games like Street Fighter, and racing games. But Fortnite? That was different.

She wasn’t sure how to feel about the fact that her kids liked a game like that. With it being…questionable for the mental state of a kid. But she supposed neither of them were particularly normal kids, and Milim was quite literally thousands upon thousands of years old, so perhaps it wouldn’t be a problem.

“They only recently got into it. And I’m not sure I’d say they were having fun. Because they were raging more than anything. Something about getting sniped out of the sky and hackers ruining the fun or something” Raven responded, once again having no idea what the game was even about.

“Yeah games like Fortnite tend to be like that” Wanda said, remembering her previous experiences with Call of Duty, which was the epitome of rage inducing. Especially the later games in the series, when the quality got worse and the skilled based match making made it less enjoyable.

She still enjoyed the older ones though, especially Black Ops 1, her favorite of them all.

“You wanna head upstairs and relax for the rest of the day, maybe watch a movie or something?” Wanda asked, looking into her girlfriend’s eyes.

“Hmm…yeah, that sounds nice” Raven responded, as Wanda looked back at the counter, seeing a smirking Lucifer walking over.

“Not a word Lucifer, not a word” Wanda warned, as the man lifted his hands in mock fear, before swiftly paying for his books and leaving the shop, but not before buying a few bakery goods and teasing her one final time.

Sitting upstairs, Wanda leaned back and watched the movie with Raven leaned up against her, and the kids snoring softly as they slept. The movie itself was pretty good, with it being the first “Wicked” movie. Something that Raven had been interested in seeing.

The kids weren’t really all that interested, so they had fallen asleep pretty much instantly. The second the movie had started and they had started to sing, the two had fallen asleep cuddled up next to one another. Which made for a pretty adorable sight.

One that they would both be in denial over, as they didn’t like to act “Cute” and like “Babies”. They were her babies though, so they wouldn’t be escaping that one.

“You like the movie, babe?” Wanda asked, as they were beginning to get towards the end of it.

“It’s decent enough” Raven responded, as Wanda stilled. Her eyes widening slightly as Raven began to slowly kiss across her neck. She felt her girlfriends hands begin to slowly begin to move underneath her shirt, as Wanda looked down at Raven who had a glint in her eyes.

‘Oh…’ Wanda thought dumbly, as she saw the lust and more than anything…the need in her girlfriends eyes.

“But I know something we can do that will be far more enjoyable~” Raven purred rather sexily, as her hand cupped Wanda’s breast underneath her shirt.

Glancing back at her kids, Wanda snapped her finger and made a soundless ward around them. Her eyes also darkened in lust as Raven let out a surprised gasp when she was lifted up by the powerful Wanda.

A small giggle escaped Raven’s lips as she was pulled with Wanda into their bedroom. And only one thought was on Wanda’s mind as she shut the door behind them.

‘Fucking finally!’
