[3rd POV]

While Wanda was in her shop talking with Adam, and slowly coming down from her anger at the situation that had occurred not that long ago, the Justice League was currently in a panic.

After Captain Atom had been slammed into the wall and cursed, and the rest of the team had been kicked out of the shop without difficulty, the team had immediately called an emergency meeting in response.

They needed to speak about Wanda, and about this entire situation. For someone was out there that could supposedly wipe entire species from the multiverse, and from the sounds of it, casually. That was not something any of them wanted, and they needed to deal with it immediately.

Which is why the League was currently sitting in the meeting room, Captain Atom having a scowl on his face remembering the event that had gone down. While the rest of the members that were there were still going through everything that had just happened.

While the magic users of the League had a different reaction. And that was…anger, no, not just anger, they were PISSED. Why? Because the fools had just angered the most powerful magical being in the multiverse, and a being that Lucifer himself was friends with.

“Have you all lost your damned minds!? We expressly told you not to go and piss off that woman! And what did you do!? You pissed her off enough to curse one of you!” Constantine yelled, angered with their foolishness.

“Not only that, but you have irreparably damaged our standings with her. With a being that could atomize all of us with a simple flick of her wrist. And now you have made the villains look like the good guys in comparison” Zatara added, also scowling in anger.

He didn’t want them to even talk to Wanda due to her power. But they went beyond even that, and have likely gotten rid of all good will between them, if they had any in the first place. This would potentially stop them from buying any of the books that Wanda sold, which likely included incredibly rare books that could not be found anywhere else.

And these fools ruined that.

“What were we supposed to do, just let Black Adam enter the shop and not go after him?” Shazam asked.

“”Yes!”” Both Zatara and Constantine yelled at the same time. It was such an easy answer too, knowing that all they had to do was wait until Black Adam left, and THEN go after him.

But instead they jumped the gun like idiots.

“You just had to wait for not even an hour for him to leave, and then you could have gone after him as much as you want. But because you idiots couldn’t wait, you pissed off a magical entity that none of us can even fight back against” Constantine responded, scowling darkly at them.

“And what’s to say we can’t fight back? It’s just one lady, sure she might have beaten me, but I’m sure all of us working together can stop her” Captain Atom said arrogantly. The two magic users looked at him like he was stupid, and…he was beginning to show that he was indeed stupid.

“Are you purposely that stupid, or are you genuinely just dumb? She is a being that can wipe out an entire species from the entire multiverse with casual ease. Do you seriously believe that we can do anything against that? Not a single one of us would even be able to touch her, and you want to defeat her?” Constantine responded, staring at him with a genuinely flabbergasted expression.

Wondering how the hell he was in this situation, and why he was even talking to these idiots anymore.

“Yeah but-” “Mate, just stop fucking talking. You are giving me a migraine over how utterly stupid you are. Like genuinely, I have never met someone so ignorant in my entire life. And I have met a lot of really stupid demons” Constantine cut him off, not wanting to hear whatever stupid ass statement he was preparing to say.

“What do we do” A voice echoed, as the two of them looked at Batman who had been silent the entire time. The man was…not pleased either. He had been quite blunt with his statement to just leave her alone, and he was ignored.

And now it was biting them in the ass because they couldn’t just leave it be.

“Nothing. You will do nothing” Doctor Fate’s voice echoed, as the other two magic users nodded in agreement.

“What he said. She is a godlike entity that makes any of the villains you have fought look like ants. Arguing with her, fighting with her, and begging to her is not going to do anything. So, the best thing to do is leave it alone, and come back once the ban is over and apologize. That is the only way you can get out of this without potentially getting far far worse consequences” Constantine said.

“Worse consequences than Captain Atom being cursed to be without love for the rest of his life?” Wonder Woman said with a frown, inwardly wondering why Wanda seemed so familiar after seeing the power she had portrayed.

“You think that was a true curse? She was being kind. That was a childlike curse that is likely one of her weakest. No, a true curse from her would make your life a living hell, a worse fate than death” Constantine responded with a scoff, knowing that Wanda had far far more dangerous curses that she could have used.

And she hadn’t. Which is a kindness by itself.

“So you want us to just…drop it? To act like none of that happened? That she didn’t confess to killing an entire species across the multiverse? She is a greater villain than any others we have ever come across, and we’re just going to ignore her?!” Hal Jordan was the one who asked this, angered at the idea of her just getting away with it.

“She already said it was a mistake. One she is obviously apologetic for with the way she was talking about it. And yeah, you need to just drop it. It’ll make things easier, as you actively going after her will just make everything more difficult” Constantine responded, again annoyed with them.

“It’s not like any of you can do anything either way, like we’ve said” Zatara added, as most of the team scowled, knowing that this was the truth. That no matter what they did, there was simply no possible way for them to defeat Wanda, or even harm her for that matter.

“Alright, since we can’t do anything to her, what about Black Adam? Do we have any information on why he was even there?” The Flash asked, deciding to change the conversation.

“All we know is that he was likely there for the magic section in her shop, which has been proven real from the visit that Constantine had to the shop, and the memories that J’onn has seen from the incident” Batman responded, as they all frowned.

“Any ideas what magic he is planning to learn from there? Do we even know what types of magic she is selling?” Green Arrow was the one to ask this question.

“No idea. But knowing how powerful Miss Maximoff is, I’d assume that it is nothing simple. And if Constantine’s guess is correct, she sells magic from not only this universe, but from all over the multiverse, meaning it will be even more difficult to know exactly what the man is planning to learn” Zatara responded, which only caused more frowns to form, realizing the magic is going to be hard to counter if it’s not even from this universe.

Which made it even more important that they apologize and gain access to the store once again. As without being able to buy the books themselves, it’ll be next to impossible to counter most of the magic that Black Adam could utilize from her shop.

“Man this is going to be an annoying next few days, isn’t it? Trying to counter magic we have never seen before, without the ability to learn anything about it until we can shop at her store again” The Flash said with a groan, realizing this would not be a fun week.

At the same time, Batman was silent, frowning as he thought over the recent events, one thought on his mind.

‘What are you up to, Adam?’
