Chapter 203: “A City?!”

“I guess?” Almara tilted her head. “Why does it matter? I’m not your enemy, I promise, I was just sent out here to ask for your help.”

“If you’re not from the west hills, then how did you hear about me?” He asked, still paranoid.

Zik instantly realized that Jimmy made a very good point there, so he pushed the tip of his spear in Almara’s back. A stream of blood dripped out, tiny, but enough to send the message. He was craving to stab this woman through her back, he couldn’t care less what her story was, and he was waiting for her to say the wrong thing.

“Better answer quickly,” He grinded his teeth.

Almara flinched, and in a panic, she shouted. “I saw you dumping snakes in the river! That’s how I know about you!”

Having heard that, Zik backed off. He wasn’t one that took orders easily, and he wasn’t waiting for an order this time either. He trusted his gut more than anything else, so the moment Almara mentioned the river, his defenses were disabled in a snap, and he realized that he had been wrong to hurt her. Almara’s story started making sense, so he backed off, but still kept his guard up.

“Sorry for the, uh…” He mumbled, but his words were cut short.

Almara didn’t care about him. She especially stopped caring after she heard him step away, as she no longer saw him as a threat.

She directed all of her attention towards Jimmy, and asked, “So you are the dinosaur tamer, right? You asked ’how did you hear about me?’. Don’t be scared, I’m not gonna do anything to hurt you guys, I just want to make sure I’m talking to the right person.”

“Probably,” He grunted, unwilling to give his identity up, just in case this was a trap.

At this point, he was unintentionally using Eni like a shield. His dick was still inside of her, and he couldn’t pull out without looking weird. Likewise, he was too aroused to form proper sentences, so he kept things simple. He was hard and paranoid.

“So where is this underground world of yours?” He asked, hoping that the woman would say something stupid to give away her facade. “How did you get up here?”

“There’s a tunnel in the river, very close to where you dumped those weird, black snakes.” She was quick to answer. “Come on, we’re wasting time here. Just come and tame a couple of dinosaurs, claim your reward, and get back to doing whatever it was you guys were doing.”

“Reward?” He repeated. “What’s the reward? You’ll let me live?”

“Come on!” Almara shouted, frustrated. “I am not threatening you! My people just need your help, damn it! Help us, and then choose one of us to fuck! It’s that simple!”

“Sounds like a trap to me,” He let out a light chuckle.

Afterwards, he put some effort in to stand up. He pulled his dick out of Eni’s pussy, and waved it in front of Almara, as he figured that this was the best time for him to assert dominance, reveal what he was doing so far, and show that a shapeshifter’s holes weren’t enough to seduce him. He had plenty of other holes to fill, after all, especially in the coming weeks with all this baby craze that Eni was destined to start.

Jimmy then climbed down from Gutaxun, and did not bother to hide his dick. He was a bit nervous, but in a weird way, he was hoping Eni’s juices that were painted across his dick, where drippy enough to send the message.

“You can’t claim your reward now,” Almara took a few steps back, and nervously tucked her chest in, desperately trying to cover herself. “You gotta help us first.”

“I don’t intend to fuck you, or your people. I have four loving girlfriends who satisfy my needs.” He said, and exclusively looked her in the eye, as to assert his dominance, but also respect her personal space. “Assuming you’re telling the truth, you gotta make it worth my while, because sex won’t work for me. Tell me more about your home, miss…”

“Almara,” She blurted.

“Almara,” He repeated. “My name is Jimmy, and that beautiful woman up there is my girlfriend Eni. The angry guy behind you is Zik.”

Almara nodded, unsure of what to expect. She felt that she was in danger, but this served to be confusing, because no one was making any effort to actually attack her. She could feel the huge dinosaurs looking at her, which made her feel threatened, but other than that, she couldn’t quite estimate what was about to happen next, and felt that her plan, her efforts were drifting out of bounds. She greeted these people with a soft, nervous smile, but short of having half a mind to run away and shapeshift, she didn’t know what else to do, or what to expect.

“Relax,” He said, “We never hurt the innocent, so if you are innocent, you’ll be fine. But… as I said, you gotta make it worth my while in ways other than sex, as I do not care to fuck you, or any of your people. Tell me… what’s so precious about your home that you had to risk being trampled, just to ask for my help?”

“My home? It’s just a lake.” She shook her head, confused. “Us Soft Shells can shapeshift, as you described it, but we don’t care to fight giant dinosaurs just to survive, so we live in seclusion, in an underground lake. We like living like fish, like fish with arms? Paired with some good, easy to catch food like many small fish, I can confidently say that we know how to live life in the best way. We’ve been doing fine, but big dinosaurs want to step into our lake, and drink the water, which would destroy the bedding of our lake, if that makes sense? Since the lake is the only home we’ve known, I was sent to come ask for your help in protecting it. That’s the whole story, but, I don’t know what exactly we can offer you, tamer.”

“You’ve accidentally answered my question,” He smiled. “So you live underground, and there’s dinosaurs down there!? That’s fucking awesome! Take me there, and we’ll be even.”

“I should’ve guessed that dinosaurs would get you excited,” She sighed in relief. “Do you know what a city is? There is also a city a few moons away from our lake.”

“Oh?” His eyes widened. “I did not expect that, not at all. Anna… one of my girlfriends is going to lose her mind when she hears about this. Cities aren’t supposed to exist yet, as you might already know.”

“It’s a nice spot,” Almara nodded. “I’d have to walk you there, though, or else you might get killed. They’re not so kind towards strangers, and they didn’t care to help my people either.”
