Chapter 255: Sweet kiss (Nose Gone)

Despite all the preparations he made to keep his people safe, preparations to the extent that reeked of some sense of insecurity, or the lack of confidence, Jimmy had in fact been sure that his plans would work out perfectly.

It was a confusing barrel of feelings surrounding the matter, and it got even more gut-wrenching when shy of twenty enemies ’broke loose’ and raged across the mountainside, past the Arse-crack of the Mountain, and towards Jimmy’s people.

He made great efforts to prevent the problematic enemies from approaching, but the situation kept escalating.

The shooters got scared, and in turn, their aim dwindled. The surge of adrenaline they experienced did not, in fact, make them better shooters. Some of the shooters even debated fleeing, but they were too proud to do so. Well, that and they knew they’d never hear the end of it from Zik, and were well aware of the fact that he’d taunt them over the matter for months, if not years.

Zik did not appreciate cowardice, he would almost never flee, not unless he didn’t see another sensible option.

In this case, as he believed that his people still had the advantage, he held his plasma cannon in his hands, tightening his fists so hard that he might just break the cannon in half! He did so, just so he could let out his frustration somewhere, because the alternative, in his point of view, would be to charge towards the enemy head on, and snap their heads off with his bare hands! He was fully capable of doing so, but he didn’t want to put his people at risk, so he tried his best to focus, and picked off the problematic enemies one by one.

“Haha!” He celebrated, after he hit one of them, forcing them to quite literally explode. “Fuck you, unwashed, dickless rock humper!”

As the limbs of his victim landed on the hard rocks of the mountainside, the remains of their body nearly drawn out of blood because of the boiling effect of the blast from Zik’s plasma cannon, he did not waste a single second, and aimed towards another enemy. Whichever one was the closest to his people.

He killed his next target. He did not miss, and then, he killed another one.

However, the ’end game’ of this horrid battle had some complications.

Jimmy tried his best to guide the troops, and have most of them shoot at the Arse-crack of the Mountain, just so they could force the situation under his control, but the problem was that the shooters ran out of people to shoot. For a moment, at least.

There weren’t any more enemies pouring out of the Arse-crack of the Mountain, as he described it, which meant that the rest of the enemies who had survived the wave of plasma bolts, were now running around wild across the mountainside!

Around eighty of them, to be exact. Jimmy had tried his best to kill some of the ’loose cannons’ amongst the enemy lines, but there was only so much he could do. Aiming at one particular person took a significant amount of time compared to just spamming his shots on a single spot.

Jimmy had a plasma rifle on him, and he shot down six rogue cavemen so far, but the situation quickly went out of control.

Three-hundred feet was not a great distance for cavemen who could run through it in less than half-a-minute, and as a result, the troops, and everyone involved had to deal with the eighty remaining enemies in close combat!

Spears flung towards his people, some missed, and some managed to find their way into flesh.

Two of his troops were stabbed with spears already, and as the enemy was only thirty or so feet away now, or ten meters, the swarm of spears that they flung next, managed to hit a lot more of Jimmy’s people. Six more, specifically.

Gnegor, his father was hit on the shoulder, Zik was hit on the thigh, and either some of the archers or the troops were hit as well.

This was not enough to stop the hardy, big men of the tribe.

With his back against the wall, so to speak, Gnegor started using his healthy, right arm to swing his gun like a club. He managed to knock down two people already, and he wasn’t so kind, or honorable regarding how he finished his victims off.

He stepped on their necks, slamming his bare foot on them, killing them within a second, or simply leaving them with a broken neck, paralyzed. The damage, or brute death he inflicted was simply mean.

Using his special magic, especially when enemies approached him in bundles, he fought back by blowing up their eardrums, melting their eyes, and etcetera with what he liked to call a heat-wave.

It was not a fireball, but this is how his special abilities worked. He could manipulate the oxygen around him, and everything else that was mixed with oxygen, to create a hyper-directed heat wave. It worked well enough, but he only used it when he had to, because he wanted to kill the enemy with his bare hands.

Moving along to Zik. Although he was wounded, he was still having the time of his life!

He broke off the tail of the spear in his thigh, and started punching the enemy senseless. He broke three of their necks by simply punching them on the face, and when an enemy tackled him, he fought back by biting the enemy on the face, shaving their nose, and even lips, clean off, leaving them screaming and begging for death, without much of a face to call their own!

He stood up, and shouted, “Hahaha! Fight me, rock humpers! I’ll kill you, and then I’m going to kill your wives too!”

Rampage, seeing that his best buddy was in trouble, kind of, walked around the people he was familiar with, and rushed towards battle.

Well, he didn’t rush. He simply started stepping on people.

Fireballs broke out, as the enemy was beyond desperate once they saw a gigantic dinosaur charging at them, so they started shooting fireballs. They aimed their fireballs at Rampage, but it was hardly effective, as relative to his size, his scaly skin was tough enough to handle nearly anything. Tiny, foot-wide fireballs were not enough to bring him down. The sun itself might as well plop down here, because there was no other way for fire to put a one-hundred and seventy ton beast down.

“Fuck yeah!” Zik shouted, “Fuck them over, Rampage!”

Unlike his older friends, Jimmy was not having as much fun. He did not like it at all when the enemy started shooting fireballs.

“How the fuck did these god damn, fuckass fire mages even survive this long?” He grunted.
