Chapter 161: You Want Me To Leave?

It took a hot second for her to realize that she was sitting on his lap.

Her face instantly flushed deep red. Feeling his large hands still around her waist from when he caught her, she was suddenly painfully aware of their proximity, how she seemed to breathe him in, how her hands laid plastered against his rigid chest.

She suddenly tried to move in an attempt to get up and leave but his hands around her waist didn’t release her as he firmly held her back, the sudden movement making her fall onto him even closer, with their faces just barely an inch away from each other.

Her cheeks quickly burned even hotter giving her face a deep red blush, with her lips slightly parted, their eyes still locked onto each other.

She seemed to see him clench his jaw as he quickly broke his eyes away from her own, “Don’t move, there’s a turbulence, you might fall and hurt yourself.” He instructed pushing himself further back away from her on the seat, but his hands around her waist still remained securely keeping her on his lap like a makeshift seat belt.

Celine could only obediently remain seated without daring to move, in cases of turbulence, not being seated could really harm one badly and one could end up sustaining an Injury, and besides…

She snuck a glance at his face turned sideways away from her, his stiff posture made it seem as if he was holding his breath, he even shut his eyes as if he was asleep.

What was he doing? She thought, was this… A twisted attempt to ignore her presence.

Something inside her had changed, since the moment she found out he backed out of the wedding, a strange feeling of certainty began to lodge itself in her heart. She seemed to analyze his behavior whenever he was around her, and even if he spoke harshly to her, she seemed to see something underneath, something deeply affectionate never shown or spoken out loud.

She had feelings for him, but those feelings weren’t one sided…he felt it too.

Seeing him like this, it felt like he was torturing himself to avoid her, it really made her want to push his buttons, to see how far he could keep ignoring her presence.

Celine almost grinned at his expression, a cheeky glint flashed in her eyes and she suddenly leaned over, wrapping her arms around his neck resting her head on his chest.

His eyes quickly swung open, he looked as if a disaster was about to befall him, his gaze fell to hers as he glared at her, “What are you doing?” He asked in a dangerously low voice.

Celine held back the urge to laugh and innocently said, “The turbulence… It’s going to last for a while, I wasn’t comfortable…”

The innocent tone in her voice would make one think she really had no choice but to lean on him, she fully wrapped her arms around his shoulders making herself even more comfortable, “It feels a lot more comfortable now.” She said in satisfaction then fully leaned against his shoulder.

He was the one who said she couldn’t leave when she tried to earlier, so he would have to bear with it, she thought with a smile.

Meanwhile, a certain someone could only remain stiff in his seat, the soft presence of the woman held in his arms was something he couldn’t ignore, her scent for which he had held his breath not to perceive now filled his senses, her warm soft body plastered against his chest making him painfully aware of all her curves.

He wanted to quickly get away from her otherwise he didn’t know how long he could hold back for, but then he was worried she’d get hurt with the unsteady turbulence happening, this was torture, this was more than driving him crazy, this was more than a test of his self control.

Tristan torturously closed his eyes, his forehead was beginning to glisten with sweat.

This woman would be the end of him.

It took a few more minutes for the turbulences to come to a stop, the minute it did, Tristan got up from his seat almost immediately, as if he was trying to escape a life threatening situation he quickly disappeared into the restroom leaving her standing in his coach.

As he locked the restroom doors behind him, Celine let out the giggle she’d been holding, what was he running away from? She wondered.

But then if he thought he could escape, he was definitely mistaken, Celine had fully taken it upon herself to slowly torture him until he admitted his feelings for her.

He could hide it all he wanted, but there was no denying that there had been a spark between them, she had acknowledged that spark, and it was his turn now… Only, he was quite stubborn, but that wasn’t much of a problem, she had a mini version of him at home, she knew just how to handle him.

Celine took the seat directly opposite his own, strapping on the seat belts she relaxed back reclining onto the seats, she felt it was even more comfortable here than in Ryan’s coach, the seats were softer, and when she pressed the reclining button, the seats slowly pushed backwards and slightly widened making it more comfortable to lay down however she wanted.

Celine marveled at how much more convenient it was, she took off her boots and wore a soft pair of socks provided in a pocket bag attached to the seat in the coach, it felt warm and very comfortable, she then wore the fluffy slippers over the socks and finally lay down comfortably.

Not long after, Tristan emerged from the restroom, he had a small towel in his hands, he used it to wipe his face as it seemed he had repeatedly splashed water over his face, but he suddenly stood transfixed in his tracks immediately he set his on her upon coming out, he clearly must have thought that she would have left.

“What are you still doing here? You can go back to your coach now, this is my private coach and I don’t like to share it.” He said sternly.

Celine slowly glanced up at him as if she had just been awoken from sleep, “What… You want me to leave…?” She asked as if barely hearing what he had said, then looked downcast, her long lashes fanning her dainty cheeks,

“Alright then,” she said preparing to get off her seat, “Ryan had told me he prepared a special coach just for the two of us, I should probably go there then…” She muttered under her breath as if she was talking to herself, but she knew he heard every word.

And she confirmed that seeing his expression suddenly darken immediately she mentioned staying alone in a coach with Ryan. Celine stood on her feet and began making her way to leave the coach, but as she turned her back to him, her lips pulled up in a smile,

’Three, two… One.’ she counted mentally knowing he would stop her in just a few…

“There’s enough room here, you can just stay throughout the flight.”
