Chapter 39: Captivated By One Woman

Tristan walked out of the bathroom some minutes later, his hair still somewhat damp. He ran a towel casually through his hair, unaware of the presence of the person currently in his bedroom.

When Erica first saw him without a shirt, she instinctively bit her lip. His chest, arms, and stomach were etched with perfectly defined muscles, as if sculpted into flawless form. A black towel rested low on his hips, accentuating the sharp, masculine V-shape of his waist.

Tristan was an attractive man in his suits, he always looked controlled and dominant, a shirtless version of him made dirty thoughts race in her mind and she was even more eager to have what she planned to happen quickly between them.

She wouldn’t mind if he wanted her as a toy, she wouldn’t mind if he destroyed her body while at it, he could use her without restraint if he wanted to.

Driven by a sudden, fierce desire for the man who stood like a sculpted immortal before her, Erica stepped forward, revealing herself in his room after having gone unnoticed until that moment.

She had plain white sheets tied around her chest, but underneath that she wore nothing. She might have tried to hint to him in the past that she wanted him and was very willing to give herself to him, and she might have tried to seduce him a few times with suggestive words and hints, but she had never bared herself to him before. She didn’t believe that he would turn her away again after seeing her like this, hot and willing for him.

Tristan raised his head when he felt a presence in his room, immediately his eyes landed on her, Erica shook off the sheets letting it fall to the floor beside her legs.

A man who knows pleasure wouldn’t turn away a willing woman standing naked before him. This thought made Erica grow even bolder.

She flicked the waves of her curly black hair back to give him a full view of her body, her siren eyes staring at him a seductive invitation and slowly, she began to step towards him.

“You’ve always known haven’t you Tristan, that I’ve wanted you, from the very first day I saw you.”

Erica couldn’t make out anything from his facial expression, he remained in the same spot watching her as she came closer. She took that as a quiet encouragement and continued to approach him.

“I won’t force you to accept the marriage arrangement our families made, but please give me what I want. I want you to fuck me, like you’ve never fucked anyone else before…use me, I’ll be all yours to do whatever you want.”

She was in front of him now, a single step away from him, not sure if she should move forward or step back.

He felt nothing…had never felt anything for another woman since that night.

Tristan frowned.

It had been several weeks now, time passed effortlessly but not a single moment passed by where he didn’t think about Celine…about that night.

How could he be so captivated by one woman and no matter what he did he couldn’t get her out of his head.

There was a totally different woman in his room right now, but all he could see was her.

Usually, he would uphold his principles no matter what. He didn’t mix business with pleasure, and even though Erica stood fully naked before him, he would have still turned her away even if he felt tempted, but he didn’t feel tempted, he wasn’t the slightest bit enticed.

It was as if his mind and body had submitted to being fully loyal to that woman after just a single night.

How could that be possible?

He never made commitments, never made promises of loyalty, never been in relationships and never been tied down, yet now his own body had given itself away and it was unlike him.

No matter what happened, Tristan knew he never wanted to change, never wanted to be tied down to one woman. So in this moment, something inside him wanted to rebel against the strange connection he felt only to Celine and no one else.

When Erica touched him hesitantly, he didn’t protest or push her away like he normally would. Excitement shone in her eyes when she realized he didn’t stop her from touching him and she inched forward, her nipples brushing against his chest with how close they were.

Still nothing…

Not even a stir of lust within him.

His frown deepened.

She moved even closer and started to plant kisses all over his neck.

Still, he felt absolutely nothing.

Erica was overjoyed, she couldn’t believe this was finally happening. They had been working together for about five years now and since then she wanted him, when he casually took other women to bed she so many times wished to take their place but he never let her, drawing a firm line of business with her and nothing else.

She kissed him on his neck and he didn’t stop her, so she became even bolder, pulling her face backwards to look up into his. Looking up at him this close, her lips fell open…his eyes were sharp, like fire burning leaves into dust, his indifferent gaze and the astuteness within them would make people wary, his nose tall and sharp, and his lips seductive enough to make one imagine his mouth in several places doing things that brought carnal pleasure.

His looks were remarkable and she had always wanted to know what it would feel like to kiss him, to be his lover in the most dirtiest, carnal ways possible.

Though Tristan’s every feature still remained rigid as if set in ice, would he continue to look this cold even while they were doing it?

His expression made Erica stiffen for a moment, a strange defiant rage radiated around him and she almost changed her mind, almost felt like stepping back from him to escape the brunt of his anger, she felt a little scared to continue what she had in mind…but she noticed a second later that his rage wasn’t directed at her, and when she had kissed him multiple times around his neck, he hadn’t stopped her. Experimentally, she kissed him on the cheek letting her mouth linger there and he still wasn’t stopping her, which meant he didn’t hate what was about to happen between them. And the strange anger around him… wouldn’t deter them from doing it right here and right now.

His expression didn’t matter, he was a man who kept his emotions a mystery anyway, what mattered was that they were finally going to be intimate. The thrill of anticipation rushed through Erica and she was spurred on even more.

She reached upwards, slowly letting her mouth hover around his own and when he still didn’t stop her, she kissed him on the lips, daringly attempting to seduce him with a deep kiss by slipping her tongue through his own, moaning and pressing her body against his to turn him on.

To her surprise, he suddenly pulled her closer, kissing her back. Excitement thrilled through Erica. At first she couldn’t believe this was happening, but the way he was kissing her was pleasurable as well as painful…the slight sting on her mouth made her aware of the fact that it really was happening.

Finally…

Erica found herself landing on his bed roughly but she didn’t mind, he could be as rough as he wanted with her. She was willing to give herself to him in any way he wanted.

She pulled her legs up and parted them with an inviting smile on her face while her eyes inhibitedly drank up his body, she couldn’t wait till he stripped off the towel so she could all of him.

When he came on top of her she eagerly wrapped her arms around him in anticipation of what was about to happen.

His body was his to command. Tristan thought.

His principles and promises to himself would never change.

He would never fall in love…

He would never get married…

He would never swear himself to a single partner for the rest of his life…

Marriage was a lie, and love…it always broke, always tore apart, love wasn’t infinite like people made it seem, love wasn’t everlasting, love ruined lives, it destroyed.

There was no room for something so destructive in his life.

And without unnecessary attachments, there wouldn’t be a chance for love to slip into his life.

This strange attachment he felt to Celine ever since that night…he wanted to get rid of it.

He would teach his body to learn to want someone else again, someone other than just her.

He kissed Erica deeply, a kind of kiss that was aimed to make him forget the ones he shared with Celine that night.

After tonight, he never wanted Celine to haunt his mind, his memories, or his life ever again.
