Chapter 34: Trap

Ian expected to see that gorgeous face again. Yes, Celine Roberts was naive as fuck, but she was equally so damn gorgeous.

Those eyes, he would admit that sometimes whenever she looked at him with those eyes, he almost found himself giving her every single thing she could ever ask for. And her beautiful lips, it made him imagine what she could do with those gorgeous lips other than smile that type of smile that made her look like a fucking angel.

He knew top models who didn’t even look half as good as her. Neville’s number one top model Larissa Edwards was a red headed hot chick and the dream girl of every man, she was fiery and unbelievably sexy but whenever he looked at her and compared her to Celine, he always found the fiery redhead lacking in comparison.

Celine’s beauty was awe-inspiring, he had gotten a taste of some of the hottest women in Neville, but he would never be able to put them on par to Celine in terms of looks.

She fit right into the movie industry partly because of her outstanding looks. With that goddess like figure and angelically gorgeous face…he would certainly make sure to have the most of tonight and enjoy her slowly.

As Ian Rode, a legendary artist who had the world’s admiration, only a woman whose looks could be considered the best of the best would fit right with him. That was another reason he had chosen her as his woman and went public with her, she wouldn’t just boost his reputation with the dreamy romance he sold to fans but with her magnificent looks.

Ian dreamed of tearing every item of clothing off her body and seeing everything she had been hiding behind the clothes she wore. Her stylists dressed her well, and sometimes he could see the outline of her figure and already felt eager to see everything bare. The waiting period had paid off after all, as an expert with women he definitely knew that some women were more difficult to get into bed than others, but ultimately in the end, he would get them in bed anyway.

He would classify Celine as being in the category of the most difficult ones, she was the ’I won’t have sex till marriage’ type, back then it had annoyed him and somewhat intrigued him. However, all of Ian’s thoughts and intentions halted when he opened the door. His expression which showed excitement and anticipation instantly froze up in shock and all of a sudden, he looked like a man who had encountered a ghost.

Celine entered the elevator, thinking about the look that would be on Ian’s face right now when the gift she had sent to him showed up at the doorstep of his suite. She knew Ian found her gullible, and she wouldn’t deny that she had been extremely gullible in the past to not have seen through him and his curated act to fool not just her but the whole world, however she certainly wasn’t gullible enough to give herself to him so willingly.

When she had asked for his location after his disgusting offer, he must have been high on the moon thinking he had gotten her right where he wanted her.

Yes she was naive and a little too trusting of people especially when she cared about them, but she certainly wasn’t dumb enough to walk into another one of Ian’s traps, instead she had sent him a trap of her own.

She knew she had hurt Ian’s ego by escaping the wedding, and even if he lusted after her, he would still have other intentions underneath. Like setting her up in a way that would ruin her reputation more or something even far more worse than that.

Celine was going up to his suite right now not to be his toy like he must be expecting but to watch with her own eyes as her little plan for him unfolded.

She set up the little debacle, there was no way she could miss seeing it. Watching it happen would satisfy a tiny vengeful voice in her head that wanted to make Ian pay.

When she stepped out of the elevator she blended to a dark corner, in an unsuspicious pose against the wall, the wide brimmed hat she wore not only went with her outfit but perfectly concealed her facial features that if anyone saw her, they would only see a striking figure, visually captivating but they would have no idea who she was.

Catching a glimpse of Ian’s stunned look and how genuinely shocked he looked as reporters took pictures of him truly improved her mood and brought a smile to her face.

What Celine did was simple.

She had contacted an escort agency anonymously through a burner phone she had purchased just before she made her way here to the hotel, then chose an option of voice alteration and requested for five of their sexiest women to be sent to the exact suite Ian had sent her, and of course she booked them with his name and credit card number which she could still remember.

She even paid extra out of generosity, the extra amount was of course about four figures high, so the agency was super enthusiastic to send their best women.

Not only that, she had tipped off some reporters about Ian’s location, she knew he had connections with many news outlets so she had carefully chosen the most shameless ones who would spread stories without caring who the artist was or his connections.

After finding out that Ian cheated on her when he slept with Lilian, she also came to know that he had taken multiple other women to bed while she had been totally oblivious.

Celine had hated herself at first for being so blind, but how could she continue to blame herself for the actions of a man with loose morals and no sense of dignity.

This little stunt she pulled on him was like a tiny payback to him.

The reporters she contacted had rushed to site as planned, and the ladies from the escort agency had arrived on time too to do their jobs, dressed in the exact same way she had requested.

All of them had timely stripped off their robes and hugged Ian immediately he opened the door, throwing themselves at the highest paying customer of the day. Reporters timely arrived immediately taking pictures before shoving mics in Ian’s face.

He didn’t get a chance to react, unable to decide if he should shove the women off him or escape the reporters. They were blocking his door so he couldn’t leave, he could only take backward steps into the suite but the women clinging onto him didn’t let go, they were like glue he couldn’t pry off.

“Hey, stop…get out of my room! All of you, get out!” He yelled but his voice was drowned out, they fully took off his robe while the reporters shamelessly followed into the room bombarding him with questions.

“Mr Rode, this is unusual from you. Is this something you usually engage in?”

“Mr. Rode, people consider you as a model of a man who has good character, is all of that your fake identity?”

“Mr. Rode, do you consider inviting multiple women to your room as your own personal way of having fun?”

“I understand that you have been recently heartbroken, is this the kind of activity you engage in to get your mind off your ex?”

“Mr Rode…”

“Mr Rode….”

Ian couldn’t process anything, he was soon overwhelmed by the number of people surrounding him right now.

There was a strange satisfaction in Celine’s heart as she watched Ian fall into helplessness where he couldn’t even say a single word to defend himself. She smiled, looking fulfilled at her purpose for today before turning around and exiting the hotel without anyone knowing she’d been there.

The way she had taken to setting Ian up might have been a little petty and immature, but he was the one who asked for it by sending her that text.

He should know that she would never lower herself into becoming his plaything, even if the whole world hated her to death.

When she returned home, she sent a quick message to Elise.

At that time, Celine had been genuinely happy and felt triumphant. Ian was a horrible man and his true character should be revealed to the public. He wasn’t loyal or loving like he pretended to be, he was a loose man who slept around with women even when he had a fiancee and was still engaged to her.

She planned to let this seep into people first, when a huge percentage of people saw him for who he truly was…a lying playboy pretending to be a good person, then would she release the texts he sent her along with the dirty offer he made her and the fact that he had cheated on her and framed it on her instead.

These expectations Celine had suddenly crashed the very next day when she woke up to Ian’s crying face in the news.

“Celine…I haven’t been able to sleep or eat, I can’t get her out of my head, how can I possibly be able to touch any other women. I’m truly disappointed in what Jeremy has done and the misunderstanding it caused.

I know I have said this many times but…I can’t help it, I want to send this message to Celine. I’m not mad at you for leaving me, I will always love you, and I will always wait till you come back to me…” He spoke like a firm promise from a broken man into the cameras that zoomed into his face.

“… whatever happens, you will always be mine.” Beneath the image of a broken man, there was a firm hatred in his eyes which Celine knew was directed at her.
