Chapter 75: Daddy?

The little twins looked around the large suite curiously.

“Is that man really here, why don’t I see him anywhere?” Leah asked.

At that moment, the muffled sound of a voice came from the inner room, the twins exchanged glances before fearlessly going to see what was making the noise.

Ian had regained consciousness, unable to function for two minutes straight because of the pain he felt everywhere. When his senses returned he realized he was currently tied up. He had already started fearing the hopelessness as he tried to loosen himself but failed.

His people would never be able to come help him, would he rot here?

That insane bitch Celine had been too ruthless.

However, he suddenly heard the sound of the door as if someone was entering his suite. That gave him a ray of hope and he quickly began to make loud noises to attract the person’s attention relieved that he would soon be saved.

But a pair of short legs suddenly came into view.

Kids? In his suite? How?

Ian trailed his gaze up from those tiny feet to two adorable faces of children. His brows suddenly pulled together.

What were these children doing inside his suite and how did they even get in? Ian wondered but quickly realized that didn’t really matter right now, at least they had hands to untie him right?

Ian immediately began to make desperate noises for the children to untie him.

Leah tilted her head curiously looking at him. “Leo, is this him?”

Leo frowned also staring intently at the man tied up with a gag around his mouth.

He had heard his Mommy saying something about payback. Did this man wrong her in some way?

Looking at the tied up man, wriggling and struggling, Leo truly was glad this person wasn’t their father.

He had found the pictures of the man said to be their father online and this wasn’t him, which was good, he really didn’t want such a stupid person to be their father. His Mommy had even beaten him up this badly and then tied him up.

Leo crouched down in front of him and Ian’s eyes lit up thinking the boy would soon set him free, but what the kid did left him stunned.

Leo turned his face from side to side. “Too ugly.”

At first Leo thought that maybe this was someone their Mommy used to like, but then it didn’t look like it.

Hearing such a casual yet serious remark coming from a child, Ian almost peed himself out of anger and the inability to hold it in any longer.

Did this kid just call him ugly?

“Mhhmm! Mhmm!” He sputtered incoherently beneath the gag but no words could fully come out.

Ian wanted to argue that he was considered one of the most handsome men in the whole country, but he couldn’t even speak.

“Who is this man, and how does Mommy know him?” Leah queried curiously.

She had thought their mother would be meeting their father, but instead she met with this strange man.

Leo also had no idea who the person was to their mother, but one thing was clear…their Mommy really didn’t like this person to beat him up this badly.

The last time Leo had seen his Mommy beat someone up was when a bad man had tried to take Leah once before when they had both snuck out of home in Westwood.

“Mmhhm!” Ian was on the verge of going crazy.

They could go ahead and insult him all they wanted, but at least they could untie him couldn’t they?

Leo leaned in closer to Ian and he seemed to see a ray of hope. But just when he thought the boy was going to take the gag off his mouth, the little rascal patted his face pitifully. “You shouldn’t mess with Mommy, she can be really scary.”

Ian stiffened.

Mo…mommy? Did he mean Celine?

These two little devils were Celine’s kids?

Looking at them now, Ian could see the resemblance.

What did Celine do after leaving Neville, go to an academy meant for demons? It seemed she had become a demon herself and not only that, she raised two little demons as well.

Leo gave a final glance to the desperate man on the floor who seemed to be pleading with his eyes to be released, if their Mommy had left this man here as a punishment, of course Leo wouldn’t help him.

“Let’s go.” Leo said to his sister then turned to leave.

Leah stared at Ian sympathetically, and Ian’s eyes lit up.

The girl couldn’t be that heartless. Ian’s eyes brightened a bit. He had been frightened that the kids would leave him here tied up, but it seemed the girl was a bit kinder.

“Leo, wait for me for a while.” Leah said then ran inside the suite’s inner room. She looked around a bit and when she found what she was looking for, she grabbed it and came out again.

Much to Ian’s disappointment, the girl had only gone to get a blanket, she pulled the large blanket open and covered Ian up to his head, burying him into it. When she was done, she patted his covered head lightly.

“Now you won’t be cold.” She said in a sweet voice then ran off with her brother.

’Cold my ass! I might just die here!’

He had ordered his people not to disturb him unless he called for them, now he realized that was a death sentence. How the hell would they know he was in trouble?

Ian cursed his bad luck.

These two little devils were as demonic as their damn mother.

Kaleb called in more of their security guards to the Paradise Hotels, the paparazzi were getting too overwhelming to handle but Erica didn’t seem to be done showing off her engagement ring to them.

He glanced backwards at the tall man who had stepped out of his car, in annoyance he was currently grilling some employees over the phone. At this time most of them should have long gotten off work, but they were called back in to do overtime.

Kaleb sighed.

This was going to be a long night.

Kaleb felt bad for his boss, he had worked so hard to get to where he was today and he had suddenly lost the company he had worked so hard for. But Kaleb knew that things would be better soon. The Blakewood matriarch had handed appointment letters into Grayson Corp to some of her other grandchildren giving them several high positions in the company which was something that would further piss Tristan off.

Kaleb shook his head, the Blakewood family were underestimating his boss’s capabilities, the man was a genius that could turn the tides of any disastrous professional situation in minutes, but it seemed for the past few years there had been something different about his boss, something seemed to have changed in him, and it all started five years ago.

Just as Kaleb was about to go talk to Tristan, he was suddenly halted when he saw a child not taller than his thighs come running, he wasn’t able to stop it, the kid had already collided with Tristan before Kaleb could get there to stop it.

Kaleb gasped.

Shit, this kid was in trouble! His boss disliked kids. Where were this kid’s parents, this was the perfect moment to come save her right now before the boss revealed his fury.

Nothing had happened yet, but Kaleb was already feeling bad for the kid, and it was at such a time when Tristan was in a very foul mood.

“Ow, sorry.” Leah mumbled rubbing her small nose that was hurting from the way she had had bumped into this tall man who she hadn’t seen there while she was running out of the building.

Slowly, she craned her neck back to glance up at the man, and her doe like eyes immediately went wide. Recognition shimmering in her crystal like blue orbs.

“Daddy?”
