Chapter 180: You Think She’s Yours?

His hands caught the front of the dress, attempting to completely rip if off her body so he could fully enjoy the sight of the sensual curves he could make out beneath the dress when all of a sudden a sound rang out as someone suddenly kicked open the door of the room.

Ryan suddenly paused his actions looking towards the outer chamber in bewilderment wondering who had the guts to suddenly barge into his reserved room like that.

“Hey who the hell…? Urgh!!”

Ryan was enraged at being interrupted, he was angrily going to deal with whoever had barged in when a force knocked against his face making him fall flat to the floor.

He managed to raise himself to feel the warm blood spilling from his mouth, he wasn’t even sure if that one force had knocked his teeth out, but before he could fully get himself up, he was hit once more making him fall back on the floor.

This time, he couldn’t even attempt to get up as he lay on the floor with the footsteps of the person who quickly walked past him to reach the bed.

“Celine, Celine are you alright?”

Ryan heard the familiar voice tinted with worry.

’Tristan?’ he wondered still feeling dizzy, how could Tristan have gotten here?

However, his thoughts hadn’t gone too far when he suddenly felt himself being dragged on the floor.

“Tristan, Tristan stop, what the hell are you doing?” He yelled as he felt himself being dragged towards the balcony.

Tristan then pulled him up once they’d reached the balcony where the cold air blew harshly against them, he held Ryan up by the collar to steady him.

“Who gave you the right to touch her?” Tristan’s voice rang with a deadly chill making Ryan shiver slightly, but he tried to release himself from Tristan’s grip which was a futile attempt.

“Whatever is happening between Celine and I is none of your business, just because she’s pretending to be your wife doesn’t mean she actually is, we’re both adults and you shouldn’t be interfering in our affair!” Ryan quickly said hoping to use that to ward off his cousin.

Tristan’s attraction for Celine wasn’t something hidden to Ryan, he could tell with how differently his usually aloof cousin treated her, which was one of the reasons he had arranged for someone to lead Tristan into this room by the next morning after he had gotten to do everything he wanted with Celine, he was certain, seeing the woman he liked in Ryan’s arms would totally break his cousin, but Ryan was confused as to how Tristan suddenly barged into the room, but he hoped to mislead him by making him believe that him and Celine had been having an affair and whatever was happening in the room was due to her consent.

“Affair? Then how come you childishly resort to drugging a woman just because you couldn’t have her willingly, you call that an affair?” Tristan growled.

“Whatever I do is none of your business!” Ryan also yelled attempting to push Tristan away and fight back, however that earned him another punch that once again drew blood from his mouth, he would certainly need to see a dentist after this. This time Tristan didn’t let him fall, but once again grabbed him by the collar.

“You’re right, whatever you do is none of my business, you can go around cheating on your girlfriend, you can go fuck a hundred stray women for all I care, but if you dare set your eyes on what’s mine, then you can only face the dire consequences.” Tristan fumed furiously gripping Ryan’s collar tighter.

Ryan turned his head and spat out a mouthful of blood on the floor, then gazed up at Tristan and grinned with his bloodied teeth,

“What’s yours? You think she is yours? Then I can only feel sorry for her dear cousin.” Ryan already looked somewhat battered, but he still opened his mouth to incense Tristan,

“Tell me, how are you better than me? How many women have you kept in the past? What makes you think you can keep this one? You and I are one and the same, we are from the same bloodline remember? We can only follow our family’s legacy, we can never stay loyal to a woman. Your dear father was a great example of that, or have you forgotten your past?” Ryan grinned even wider enjoying Tristan’s reaction.

Tristan froze the instant those words seeped into his ears, dark memories threatened to surface within him.

“Do you think you’re in love with her? What a shame, in the end she’s going to end up like your mother, pathetic, lonely, abandoned, and replaced, she’s going to fucking kill herself! Hahaha!”

Ryan’s laughter was suddenly seized in his throat as Tristan ruthlessly punched him again, the force this time even stronger than the one earlier.

Tristan unleashed his fury, kicking Ryan mercilessly until his face was a swollen mess. But his anger wasn’t sated; he hauled Ryan up, ready to strike again, when a faint noise from the room stopped him in his tracks.

Her voice sounded low and faint, it was almost as if she was in pain. That small sound seemed to have flushed all his anger as he couldn’t bother with Ryan anymore, tossing him away on the floor he rushed into the room.

Ryan had asked if he thought he was in love with Celine, it was a question he wasn’t ready to confront.

Tristan rushed to Celine’s side, she was still on the bed, breathing rapidly, sweat beading on her forehead, and her face scrowned in discomfort.

He sat down by the edge of the bed, and picked her up, placing her head against his shoulder while keeping her seated, “Celine, Celine look at me, are you alright?”

Celine felt like she was drowning, submerged into a burning flame, an intense desire filling the pit of her stomach, she suddenly felt someone pick her up as a familiar scent drifted into her nose while his worried voice travelled into her ears.

Slowly, she opened her eyes to look up at him, her vision still somewhat cloudy, however, she could recognize that face even in her dreams.

“Tristan?” She called softly, her voice sounding breathy and soft, like a moan slipping through her throat.

“Yes, I’m right here, you’ll be alright.”

Hearing his voice closely, she could finally confirm it was him, she slowly raised her hand, caressing his face with her palm, she felt the smooth softness of his skin while his deep scent kept filling her senses, she felt the burn of desire intensify in the pit of her stomach.

Without warning, or realizing her own actions, she pulled down on his collar and planted her lips against his own.
