Chapter 19: Breathe…

Celine could hear her own heartbeat, it’s epic palpitations in her chest when his mouth closed over her own again.

It still shocked her the way his kiss could make her feel so many things. Like when his lips brushed teasingly against hers, and how she couldn’t stop the soft yielding sigh from escaping her lips, or how the tender caress of his lips caused her stomach to be assaulted by a flurry of what felt like a thousand butterflies.

The kiss stretched on, slow and measured, savoring her lips inch by inch until his tongue softly coaxed her into opening up to him. Tristan set her down slowly by the large king sized bed and strode to the bedside table where he picked up a remote and the next second, the lighting in the room softened to a dimmer and cozier hue as he glanced back at her over his shoulder quietly staring until she blushed even harder but she didn’t avert her gaze.

She was standing silently by the bedframe, her eyes sparkling in it’s own alluring way, she looked even more ethereal in the dim lighting, like a breathtaking goddess.

Her doe like eyes were wide, her orbs changed under lighting, in bright light it looked very light, an icy blue color, and in a dim space looked deep, a shade of the deep blue sea, her eyes were incredibly enchanting. She had a small nose and round lips that were now slightly swollen from his kisses.

He began to drop kisses down her neck and she felt her breath ease out of her in a sigh subconsciously leaning into his kisses which trailed down her neck to her shoulder. Slowly, she no longer noticed as the wedding dress was pulled further down and off her body.

Celine gasped when she felt cool air hit her bare body the minute the dress fell into a small heap on the floor. He lifted her chin so she couldn’t avert her gaze.

“You’re breathtaking, Celine. You’re very beautiful, has anyone ever told you that before?” He whispered huskily. He knew for certain that someone might have told her that before, no man could set eyes on her and not be spellbound enough to want to tell her how utterly captivating she was. But somewhere inside, he hoped his words should be the ones she wouldn’t forget, he hoped his touch would be etched in her memory. He berated himself for wanting something like that.

It was just a one night stand, this certainly wasn’t his first, but it was the very first in which he wanted to make it unforgettable for her.

What was happening to him?

She was beautiful, and he was a man epically drawn to her, all these thoughts that didn’t feel like they belonged to him would go away after he had her.

That was right, once this night was over…he would never feel this overwhelming attraction to her or anyone else again.
